We just had a fabulous holiday weekend at this home! It was exactly what we hoped for: the perfect mix of rest and fun. This might be the best-stocked and most entertaining house we've ever rented. Julie did not overlook any detail! From toiletries to kitchen items to games and toys for the whole family, she thought of it all. We were two families of five, with four adults and six kids ages 11-16, and we also brought along our two dogs. We planned to spend one day at the house and go to South Haven on the second day, but everyone voted to skip going to town so we could spend more time enjoying the house amenities. We swam, paddle-boarded, kayaked, fished, played badminton and volleyball, hot tubbed, hung out in the tiki hut, grilled dinner, and had s'mores over the campfire. The dogs loved having a fenced-in yard to explore freely and enjoyed easy beach access for swimming. Julie met me for check-in and to show me around the property. She was extremely communicative throughout our stay. I can't think of a single thing that would have made our stay better. Thank you, Julie, for welcoming us into your wonderful home! We hope to be back!

This was our second stay at this property with our family of 6 adults, 3 young kids and a dog. We spent a long weekend here 2 years ago and happily came back. The only things we needed to pack were clothes and food. Everything was in excellent supply, from all the kids' games and toys available to a well equipped kitchen as well as a pack-n-play, high chair, and potty chairs (not currently listed in the amenities). We spent the weekend playing mini golf (a BIG hit with the kids) and yard games, and of course playing on the beach and fishing, and taking the kids out onto the lake in the row boat and kayaks. The tiki hut was our adult refuge when the kids were napping. The house is on a huge lot at the quiet end of the lake, which afforded us real privacy, not always easy to find on a Michigan lake in summertime. We also truly appreciated the ability to book less than a week, which accommodated everyone's work schedules. Our host Julie was easy to contact and very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. We definitely plan to return,

Wonderful. The house had everything we needed, and a lot of things we brought with us ended up being provided! Everywhere there was something to welcome us or assist in our stay. Use was made of the paddle boards and rafts,and the kitchen had everything we needed to make wonderful meals. Overall a wonderful getaway with excellent views!

Perfect Lake Home with Large Backyard

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July stay at this cozy home on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and outdoor activities galore! We were able to bring our family dog too, which was great! The backyard is amazing, with plenty of room for playing badminton, volleyball, or sunbathing.

Wonderful Property and Stay!

Our party of 10 really enjoyed our stay! LOTS of things to do! Plenty of space. Julie went above and beyond for our comfort. Only small complaint was SO much muck and seaweed in designated swim area.

Quiet & LOTS of activities!

This home is located in a private, quiet setting. It is well equipped with everything you might need, and then some! The owner met with us upon check-in & let us know she was available if we needed anything. Check in & checkout was simple.

Girls weekend

Lakeside Cove is located on the quiet cove on the lake and is a beautiful place to stay. The home is well appointed with everything you could need. All you need to do is pack your clothes and food! Julie is a great host!

AWESOME!

This is just a wonderful lake home. The owner is awesome and met us at the property to show us everything. There was so much to do., from the water toys, to sunbathing and even a tiki hut at night. Look for a lake vacation home, you must try this one.

Wonderful Weekend

Visited the property for a girl’s family weekend. Great accommodations and the host provided everything you would need. The lake was very peaceful and the hot tub very relaxing. Rafts, kayaks and paddle boards were provided for your enjoyment. The Tiki Cove provided a fun atmosphere and the Tiki Toss made it more fun. Looking forward to visiting again.

My family rented on Saddle Lake for 10 years. We all fell in love with “Lake-Life”!

This property has everything for Fun and Relaxation! You can do as LITTLE or as MUCH as you like. The house and property are big enough that EVERYONE can be all together OR wonder off to their OWN space for peace and quiet time. TIME does seem to "Stand Still" here at Lakeside Cove. My family and I ALWAYS look forward to our trips to Lakeside Cove and make lasting memories every time!
