Great property on the lake, and close to Field of Dreams and other sites. The deck is so nice to sit and have dinner with family/friends. The host is wonderful and answered our questions right away. Would stay here again for sure!

Absolutely a great place to stay. Host was great, let us us check in a little earlier, and check out a little later. We were here for a wedding nearby. There was a beautiful porch with comfy chairs overlooking a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee there. Not one complaint or concern here!

Our host was really helpful and made things super easy. We were just passing through for work and typically sat in a hotel room but there were just no good choices in Manchester, IA so we found this lovely place on the lake. It was very clean , quiet and comfortable. The bed I slept in was in the master and it was really comfortable!! I would definitely stay here again! Very nice place with a nice view on the lake!!

Normally we stay at my parents but we had more people so found this property. Easy to get to, roomy, well stocked kitchen. No laundry.

Loved this place!

This is a great place to stay, right on the water. The house if fully equipped with everything you need, and the host was great to work with. Not far from the Field of Dreams and Dyersville restaurants and the grocery store. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Exactly what we were looking for.

Great location in a little cove where kids can play safely. My kids enjoyed the lily pad, corn hole, and all the other games they had accessible for us to use. We are looking forward to another visit in the future.

Beautiful place

We wanted a quiet getaway to relax for a couple of days and this was the perfect place. We rented a boat from the local marina and the girls loved the lily pad. Highly recommended and we all can't wait to come back. Thank you very much.

Wonderful stay for a family wedding

Had a nice stay. The house was as described. Just a note that there are steps to each bedroom. If you have someone in your party that cannot do stairs that could be an issue. The house had a great view and the outside deck was amazing. Plenty of parking for our group.

My family had a very nice stay here in Delhi. The property was just right for a few days off the road and a visit to nearby Dyersville and the field of dreams. The ride between both was picturesque Iowa farmland and the home a nice hidden away waterfront stay. The owners were lovely people and I intend to return for a visit with my other boys and grandson. Perfect

What a wonderful house on Lake Delhi. The house was clean and comfy. It is located right on the lake so the location was relaxing and quiet. My husband and I had a wonderful time sitting on one of the patios (decks) watching the stars come out. Our bed was comfortable and I slept like baby. I did not prepare any meals but the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you would need to prepare meals. Shirley, the owner, was very attentive and made it clear if we needed anything to not hesItate to contact her. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future for a longer stay.

Lake House

The house had everything it described, was very spacious and clean. The major downside was NO Wi-Fi that was a surprise ad never said it had it but in 2025 I guess you just automatically assumed it would have it. We did have a situation with a wasp infestation but I contacted the owner and she had someone out within literally 20 minutes to take care of it. We then had to call her again because the air conditioning went out and again she had her son in law come out immediately, unfortunately he couldn’t fix it however she was able to get a HVAC person out to the property but he couldn’t come immediately, it was really hot so we did have to stay at my cousins house but she was on top of it, when he did come out he fixed it and we were good to go! This house was wonderful and other than the few hiccups that she was right on top of, except for the no Wi-Fi it was phenomenal!!

Wonderful!

Wonderful trip to Lake Delhi! Shirley and Pat were so helpful! They made sure we had everything we needed. Property was very clean, and relaxing. Rooms were spacious and the little kids were ecstatic about a loft in one of the bedrooms. There was a meadow across from the property that you could see a few cattle which the kids loved. The property was perfect, lots of space, beautiful landscaping, lots of deck furniture to relax on, and on a quiet cove of the lake. We sat around the fire pit nightly to talk and look at the stars. We took our boat out daily to tube, ski, knee board, fish and cruise. The kids fished right off the dock and had a lot of success. It's a beautiful lake. We had a mechanical issue with our boat that we brought and the local marina, Hartwick's, went above and beyond to help with our issue which was greatly appreciated. We did visit the new, local coffee shop in Delhi, Roast Toast. It has great coffee and huge cookies! Thank you Shirley for that recommendation! The people of Delhi are friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a relaxing, spacious house on a beautiful lake, this is your place! Shirley and Pat are excellent hosts! I highly recommend this property!

Lake Life in the Corn Field

We really enjoyed our stay. We couldn't get over how this beautiful lake area just popped out of nowhere. Surrounded by corn fields, you would never know it was there. This was our last stop on a two week road trip. It was great not to be at a hotel. The entire area is beautiful and the owners were great! So, quick to answer our questions and give suggestions on things to do in the area. It was an awesome way to end our vacation!

Perfection

I had an experience that most people won't be able to experience because my grandparents lived in this exact cabin for my entire childhood. My sister and I stayed here after our mother passed away. It was absolute perfection from beginning to end and something I likely will never forget. As fas as recommending this place, I am clearly biased as all of my favorite memories as a kid are from here. Lake Delhi is a special place and this cabin on the cove is simply lovely.
