One Bedroom Ocean View Deluxe Luana Kai D207

D207 is a bright, oceanfront corner unit, perfectly situated to take in the panoramic view and allow the cooling trade winds to flow through.  From the lanai, guests are entertained by humpback whales in winter and water sports athletes and birdlife year-round.
This deluxe 1 bed, 1 bath unit with AC is themed in tropical colors and artwork. The kitchen and bath have been modernised with clean white wood and glass cabinetry, Corian surfaces, and ocean-blue glass-tiled splashback. There are dining options inside and on the lanai, which also offers comfortable lounge chairs.

A desk with USB charging is provided for working remotely from your Maui office.
There is also a queen-sized sofa bed.
D207 is extensively equipped, with convenient washer and dryer, and including many outdoor toys and beach gear for your enjoyment.

Ocean facing condo in Kihei

Great location. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Well appointed kitchen and condo. Comfortable bed. One negative was that we had the pickle ball court to the left of our balcony which was quite busy and noisy from 8 am until sunset. Could hear it when windows were open. The other negative was that we didn’t realize that there was a 25 a day charge to use the AC in the unit. It may have been in the small print that I didn’t see. It did get stuffy in the unit especially during the day so we opted to pay the fee.

Great Unit!

Matches description and other reviews. Very clean, good location, awesome lanai and views. Located across from a pickleball court which actually provided morning entertainment while having breakfast! Air worked great (although warning that it is locked at 72 degrees which was sufficient). Plenty of dishes and pots/pans. Didn't use outdoor equipment but there is a chest with beach stuff and I think boogie boards and snorkels and chairs. Checkin was easy to understand. As others have noted there were ants on counter, seemed mainly not to want food but in search of water. They are super tiny, almost like gnat-size. Told office, but I doubt they did anything nor is there much one can do in this case. They were not a big problem as we put all food in fridge and cleaned up after ourselves quickly. All in all if returning to Maui I will definitely stay here again if the unit is available.

We had a wonderful time here. There is a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony. The condo is well supplied from beach gear to kitchen appliances and was spotless when we arrived. Kihei is an amazing place to call home base for a Maui visit and we will be back. We opted not to use the A/C during our stay and during December/January it was totally manageable, though it would be nice to have a screen door to keep the balcony open and get a breeze going. Mahalo for the wonderful space and memories!

Great Place

My wife and I had an amazing time here. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the waves and sometimes lucky enough to even see some whales. We really loved the fact that the unit provided all the beach gear one could ask for. Really enjoyed the hot tub and BBQ'S in the pool area. Honestly the only thing this place was missing...and this is being really picky...was that we wished they had a pair of binoculars.

The Best on Maui!

Luana Kai is our favorite place to stay on Maui. The property is located next to a beautiful park, has a wonderful pool area with nice grills, and the staff are always so lovely. The common areas never feels overcrowded and everyone is welcoming and happy to strike up a conversation while sitting in the hot tub. Kihei is centrally located and a great base for your Maui adventures!

Incredible stay

Absolutely loved this place! The view was spectacular and the price was very reasonable. We enjoyed having fins, chairs, umbrella, etc. Also, the Maui book was awesome. We referred to it for everything and brought it everywhere we went! We found a lot of cool spots we otherwise wouldn’t have. We were a little confused where to go to pick up the keys, but were able to figure it out pretty quickly. Other then that, incredible stay. Thank you!
