‘Point of View Chalet’ was named after the inspiring panoramic hillside and lake views that insist you slow down, soak it in and change your point of view.

Be greeted by 9+ acres of trees and privacy overlooking majestic Canandaigua Lake and Bristol Mountain... the perfect place to forage and explore or sit back and relax.

This truly awesome A-Frame provides the warmth and comfort of a home away from home including a Fireplaced Great Room and casual dining space with soaring tongue-in-groove pine ceilings, beautifully furnished with modern furniture and decor collected from our travels worldwide.

A well stocked kitchen providing all amenities for the ‘home chef’ as well as a large gathering island great for entertaining, serving and dining.

Fantastic walkout terrace level Game Room complete with Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, Dart Board, 70” Flat Screen Television, Full Bathroom! Convenient access to the covered Patio, strung with charming cafe lights, and furnished with a sofa-size daybed-swing and chairs to gather for a morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail.

Multiple decks and patios overlook the in-ground pool providing a day of fun or the perfect way to soak up the sun. Cabana house provides full bath, changing room and a perfect way to store cool drinks at your convenience!

An oversized private Master Suite with a King Size bed, walk in closet, adjoining spa bathroom with jetted tub, Roman walk in shower with dual shower heads, double vanities AND radiant heated floors.

The third floor provides 2 additional Queen bed guest rooms and a large full bath with double vanity and radiant heated floors.

Our Den is a great place to read a book, start a game of chess or to sit and take in the panoramic views.

Perfect family hideaway

This propert is breathtaking on every level: views, accommodation, comfort, grounds, amenities. We wanted a few days away to make memories as a family and have some fun and we did! Family Fun

What a great venue for our family from Michigan and Connecticut to meet up to relax and play. Whether we were sitting on the deck enjoying the fabulous views of Lake Canandaigua, splashing in the pool or gathering in the dining area for our meals, the property delivered above expectations. Everyone in my family raved about this property. We use VRBO a lot, and we all agreed this was one of the best properties we have ever rented. The attention to detail was top notch and privacy and views amazing, When I needed a quick owner response (due to my own mistake) I heard from her in less than 15 minutes. This vacation home is so very private! There is just one more home up the road but nobody was around. We didn’t see one car go by all week. The house is very clean, well supplied, and cozy. I cannot say enough about this property. We went for a girls weekend and wanted a place to relax but feel at home! This house was so wonderful from the pool to the convenient pool house! The house itself was so clean and so nice. The sheets and beds were so soft and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. And the host was so accommodating with questions that we had. Quiet area too! I would highly recommend!

The home and property are absolutely beautiful. Serene with great views and well appointed. Danielle welcomes you with a sign at the entrance, which kicks off the arrival to an unbelievable home. The property is pristine, has games, books, pool table, corn hole and a heated pool. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal for one person or a large family. Privacy at the extreme, based on location, which is another PLUS!

A great place for family and friends to gather for multiple reasons. Concert at CMAC, pool day for relaxing, nearby wineries, shops and breweries to experience! Family Perfect - Beautiful- Relaxing

We loved our family stay at “Point of View Chalet”. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, activity friendly, and surreal place to be together and relax. We swam, swung, played basketball, cornhole, pool, ping pong, ate, drank, ate s’mores by the fire, and cooked all together. We enjoyed the beautiful view and stargazed at night. The house was equipped with everything we needed including beach towels, pool toys, toiletries, games, grill, fire pit, and heated pool with outdoor bathroom. Danielle was a great host, she was quick to respond and eager to help.

Beautiful property!

The Point of View Chalet is an amazing property. I can't say enough about how CLEAN and well cared for everything is. I know for our family, we want to stay in a place that is maintained and cared for like we care for our own home. The beds are comfy, linens are high quality, the kitchen is well stocked with basics you will need to make meals and clean up. There are plenty of rooms and nooks in the house that you don't have to be on top of each other. The pool is perfect for lounging or spending some time getting lost in your thoughts. Highly recommend!

Perfect respite for a stressed out family

The listing doesn't fully capture how beautiful, light-filled, and spacious this property is; my elderly father remarked several times that it exceeded his expectations. This was a kind of retreat/exhale for my dad, my siblings, and me; we have had a lot of upheaval and loss, so we needed some R&R. We're already talking about when we might come back. The views from the decks are beautiful; the house is spacious and very well appointed; the pool and cabana felt like luxury. It was delightfully quiet with no sounds beyond bird-song and the wind in the trees. Danielle was quick to respond to questions and always accessible and personable.

The home with a view

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Point of View Chalet. The view from the deck, pool, and main living room was just stunning. The place was immaculate and decorated well. So many beautiful little touches really made this place feel like home. Plenty of seating and activities for people of any age. The house looks exactly like the photos. The master bed/closet/bathroom was to die for! The kitchen (and other areas) were stocked with anything you might possibly need. All you need to pack are your clothes and food and they take care of the rest! Danielle was so accommodating and quick to respond to any question or need. They had the pool open and heated for our Memorial Weekend Stay. Definitely a favorite of ours and so worth it! No one in my family wanted to leave.

Lovely 50th Anniversary getaway

We enjoyed this spacious, well appointed home and pool. We treated our in-laws to a 50th anniversary week away. The kitchen is very well stocked, really no need to bring much in the way of spices. We loved the shaded swing, the very clean pool, large kitchen/table/shared space to enjoy family. We also very much enjoyed the remote location. We had coffee on the deck to start our day overlooking the amazing vista, drinks by the pool and movie nights in the basement. For us the only minus where to do with the very warm upstairs rooms (it is an A-frame, but our rooms a/c was not up to the task) and not knowing we had access to the garage where a lot of fun outside items were. It was a tight fit for sleeping 3 couples and one child. The basement is really not setup as a sleeping space. Overall we would highly recommend this beautiful property.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL

Absolutely phenomenal! We instantly feel in love with this property & home. Shortly after arriving we reach out to book our 2nd stay at this stunning home. You feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. The house is incredible inviting and warm. This will be our yearly vacation home as long as Danielle & David will have us. The house is extremely clean, beds are so comfortable, high end linens, kitchen well stocked and every room is beautifulyl decorated. The views will literally take you breath away. So relaxing, warm and cozy. The house has everything you need. We woke up to deer & other wildlife each morning. I loved having tea on the porch looking out at the lake & hills. We enjoyed reading by the fireplace at night and gazing at the stars. The pool is absolutely amazing surrounded by gorgous landscaping, comfortable lawn chairs to lounge in the sun, pool house is well stocked with EVERYTHING you need. Danielle made sure we had everything we needed for a PERFECT stay. She was incredible kind and quick to respond. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely happy and we were!!! Great places to eat near by, everyone in town is so nice, the lake is beautiful. We can't wait to visit what feels like our 2nd home next year. Dream location

This is such a beautiful property. Even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything is perfectly curated for a picturesque “Finger Lakes” cabin experience. Close to everything but you feel like you’re by yourself at the top of a mountain. The owners went above and beyond with responsiveness and hospitality. Extremely clean and well furnished. We will definitely be back! Absolutely loved our stay!
