Stunning Lakeside Retreat at Innsbrook w/ Swing, Canoe and 3 Kayaks

Enjoy Innsbrook Resort while relaxing at Dragonfly Dreams. Our lakefront chalet located on Whitetail Creek Lake has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. This chalet sleeps 12 comfortably with a king size bed in the master bedroom, then upstairs has a queen size bed and the other two bedrooms each have a full size bed plus a set of bunk beds. There is a child safety gate at the top of the stairs as well as outside on all the stairs. The upstairs bathroom has a full bathtub and shower combination. The stairs to the second floor are the standard stairs in the Innsbrook Chalets.

Guests will love the lake view with beautiful sunsets from the house deck, sandy beach or fishing dock. Lake is stocked and lots of fish to be caught using the fishing equipment available to our guests. Enjoy the spacious lakefront land by swinging on the swing or playing volleyball or others games in the large flat backyard. Guests can use the canoe, 3 kayaks, muck mat off the beach, tennis equipment or cook out on the gas grill. Enjoy coffee in the morning from the back deck or the private deck off the master bedroom. Have fun making s’mores and memories at the outdoor lakeside firepit.

Inside relax playing any of the many board games or curling up on the couch for a movie by the 3-sided wood burning fireplace. Plenty of space to spread out and entertain between the kitchen, high-top table or large dining room table utilizing the recently upgraded stainless steel appliances.

Our guests have access to all of the amenities and activities at Innsbrook. With over 100 lakes on 8000 acres, so many fun things to do at Innsbrook. Some of the sports activities include an 18-hole golf course with driving range and clubhouse restaurant, outdoor swimming pool with fitness center and playground, pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball, and sand volleyball. Guests can also go horseback riding, go on a hayride, hike the miles of trails, swim at one of the 14 beaches or rent a variety of boats. Innsbrook also offers outdoor concerts and summer camp for the kids. Please note that the outdoor pool is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

Innsbrook Weekend

This was a great space for our family lake weekend. The location is perfect on a small lake where kids can swim or head out in the Kayaks. Host was east to communicate with. We will be back!

Great stay!

Great getaway! Stayed 3 nights and could not have enjoyed it any more than we did. Great fishing, amenities, and is on one of the flatter lots in are making easy to get around property. Definitely will be back!

Wonderful, quiet property!

Relaxing Family Fun

We had a great time enjoying the lake and wonderfully cool house shaded by many trees during summer’s first heat wave. Absolutely loved it!

Our family of 11 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room, and we had fun with all the amenities. The kayaks, the canoe, fishing, swimming, bonfires and s’mores. The kids are ready to go back!

My family had the best time!

Weekend getaway

We had an absolutely amazing visit. The house is in great condition and very clean. The owners definitely put effort in to provide everything that you need, including some nice touches like fresh flowers and a stocked smores box. Plenty of kayaks and other water equipment for our kids. We definitely will look at staying at this property again on our next Innsbrook visit.

Nice property with great beach, dock, and yard. House was roomy and clean. Owner was responsive and included some thoughtful touches in the cabin. But Innsbrook does needs to work on the lake a bit.

Better than expected!

The chalet was everything we expecting and more! Not only was it beautiful and clean. There were fresh flowers and bottled water in every room. Lynn (owner) was very attentive during our stay and even extended our check out, due to a rain out the day prior. We would definitely recommend this chalet.

The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family getaway. From the peaceful setting to the well-stocked amenities, every detail made our stay special.What truly stood out was the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. I accidentally left my laptop behind and didn’t realize until two days later—but they were incredibly understanding and made it so easy for me to come back and pick it up. Great House!

The house is fantasitc with everything you would want or need. We had plenty of room for 2 families, each with 4 kids. There is plenty of outdoor space and it is nice and flat. The "lake" however leaves a bit to be desired. It's about 2-3ft deep in most places. If you come, bring something to float on.

Innsbrook Weekend

Home was as described and outside setup even better. One of the few houses on Whitetail Lake without a steep decline to the lake allowed for a flat backyard, great fireplace setup, and perfect dock. Fishing was successful with bluegill, bass, and crappie. Comfortable beds and newer full baths on both floors. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an Innsbrook trip.

Beautiful place

The pictures do not do it justice! This place is so much better than the pictures make it look! The owner was very easy to contact with any questions. Little touches like fresh flowers and a bottle of water on the night stands made it feel so warm and welcoming! Little things like fishing poles, life jackets and even a cabinet with extra toiletries in case you forgot yours, made it feel more like renting from family. We will definitely be staying again.

Great Family Stay

We loved the view and all of the little extras the hosts had left for us (fresh flowers, great wine, even s’mores supplies!). It was so fun to listen to birds and spy deer eating foliage in the yard, and we all slept great. The only downside was that the lake was a bit too shallow and plant-filled for us to enjoy swimming or kayaking, but we had no trouble keeping ourselves busy with all of the other activities at Innsbrook (pickleball, swimming at the pool, even just board games at the house) and nearby (Cedar Lake Cellars and Thierbach Orchards were both a lot of fun). Our whole group agreed that this was our best family vacation by far, and we definitely look forward to coming back.

Fun Family Getaway

This was a family getaway with grandparents and two families - 6 adults and two children, ages 3 and 1 1/2. The house was a great fit for us. The main floor bedroom was large enough for a pack and play for one child to sleep. The upstairs worked great for the other two couples and the third bedroom worked well for the second child's pack and play. The kitchen was very well equiped. We ate all our meals at the house. I like that there were many plates, glasses and utensils so we didn't have to run the dishwasher for each meal.The many windows in the dining and living room make it feel as though you're in a tree house - very beautiful and peaceful.We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks and there were plenty life jackets for everyone. The level yard was great for the kids. We also enjoyed the community pool and one of the swim beaches. The owner had great communication with us. I'd definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Girls Getaway

Dragonfly Dreams was the perfect place for a long weekend fall getaway with my daughter, mom and sister. It was close to home but still felt like we were far away in the middle of the woods. Everything you could possibly need is provided-fully stocked kitchen for cooking, firewood for the fireplace and fire pit, kayaks and a canoe and life vests for fun on the lake, games and puzzles, even a s’mores kit! Beds were comfy and bath towels plush and soft. We had a delicious dinner at the Clubhouse restaurant but cooked most of our meals at the rental. Loved seeing all the deer on our walks and drives around the resort! We would love to come and stay in the summer months to enjoy more lake time and the pool but this time of year is beautiful there. You will not be disappointed!

Great Innsbrook vacation

My kids and grandkids and I spent a great 5 days at the Dragonfly Dreams. The house was everything as listed and more. It was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and had all the many touches that make the difference between an OK experience and a great experience. We loved the fishing dock, the sandy beach, the swing, hammock, volleyball and firepit and used all of them. We also spend a lot of time on the huge deck with a view of the lake and beach. Having at least 'starter' amounts of dish and laundry detergent and TP and salt and pepper, etc. as well as fishing equipment, life vests, tennis gear, etc. made the trip so much easier as we did not have to pack all of those things to bring with us. The kids (big and little) really enjoyed having use of the canoe and kayaks. The extra touches of sm'ores, fresh flowers, bottled water (and wine!) all contributed to making it a super nice stay. Lynn was very responsive to everything and we definitely look forward to a return visit.
