Welcome to On The Rocks located in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort! This elegant two-story townhome features modern furnishings with cool, coastal décor. Enjoy the open living area filled with natural light from the large sunroom window. Step onto the patio and take in the beautiful water views of Horseshoe Lake right outside. The roomy kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a desk area in the corner, the perfect place for remote workers/students next to a large greenhouse-style window. There is a spacious king-size bed with a twin bunk bed in the master, another king bed in the guest room, and a queen sleeper sofa, comfortably sleeping 8 guests. When you're not catching the sun on the beach, relax by the luxurious lagoon pool or hop on the included 6-seater Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) to easily access all the fabulous amenities at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Come have the beach vacation of a lifetime at On The Rocks!

Beachwalk Villas are located on the waters of Horseshoe Lake and on the beach side of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Beachwalk Villas are two-story villas that have private patios overlooking the lake. You will love the beautifully landscaped lake front pool area that's accessible by boardwalk and you'll have fishing right out your back door. Go back in time at the Carousel, or head to the future at the Blast Arcade and laser Maze or the Boondocks Arcade.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. We come to Sandestin every spring break and is one of the family highlights of the year. Unfortunately the unit was double booked so we had another family come knocking on our door the first day shortly after arrival, which was very uncomfortable being they expected us to get out of the unit. Parking was a disaster, was not able to use the golf cart since they decided to inform us there was a 500 deposit upon arrival after thinking it was included based on the description of the unit (one of the main reasons we booked the unit). Furniture was in terrible shape, no extra linens and the back porch door would not lock which made us very uncomfortable being we have two young children. The unit itself was ok but felt cheap. You could tell they had taken a lot of shortcuts and the screen porch had a rip in the screen which was not a big deal but didn’t send a good first impression. Overall I would not recommend the company more than I would not recommend the unit. Felt very bait and switch from the description of the unit and amenities that came along with it. Will not be using them again.

We rented this property for the golf cart, but we were not able to use the golf cart. The key to the golf cart is stored in a lock box and we were not given the code. We had to call Real Joy in order to get the code and get the key out. Then we went to use the golf cart only to find out the brakes were in bad shape and appeared to have been that way for a while. We called Real Joy to let them know the golf cart was usable and needed repaired hoping they would switch it out with another one. Keep in mind this was on the Saturday we checked in. None of the agents that we finally talked to were able to help and said the only thing they can do is put us on a list and let a manager know and someone would more than likely talk to us once we checked out, which doesn't make any sense. On Sunday we went to ride the bicycles that are provided since the golf cart didn't work and no one has maintained these either. The seats were loose, the tires needed air and were in bad shape. So, we called back to Real Joy again about getting another golf cart and did not get any help. Monday, we went out and came back to the unit and there were a crib and highchair sitting outside in front of the front door. We again called Real Joy to let them know someone dropped these off at the wrong address. They were supposed to let maintenance know. We checked out on Tuesday and the crib and highchair were still there. Real Joy Vacations provided zero help with anything and horrible customer service.

We also appreciate you bringing the condition of the bicycles to our attention, as well as the unexpected delivery of the crib and highchair. While we are not certain where those items originated, they should have been promptly removed, and we apologize that this was not handled more efficiently during your stay. Your comments regarding communication and responsiveness are taken seriously, and we will be reviewing this internally to ensure better support for our guests moving forward. We’re glad you chose to stay with us and truly regret that your experience did not meet expectations.

Great place to stay

We had an awesome experience staying at 5079 "on the rocks". The location was on the beachside of the complex. It also was a short walk to the pool. Real Joy representatives contact me throughout the week to ensure our stay was 5 star. The best of all was having access to the golf cart. We used it numerous times to get around the complex. I will definitely book again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect location and amenities for family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and stay at On the Rocks. We had easy access to a beautiful beach and multiple pools, the golf cart was so helpful getting us back and forth. The house had everything we needed for meals in and the back patio was a perfect location to end the evening.

Sandestin 2023

Great stay at Sandestin as always. The condo was very nice for the money. Any issues we had were quickly attended to by the mgmt company.

Super cute and great location

We are purchasing in Sandestin and needed a place to stay to check out the area and explore! This location was beachside and great for walking to the beach. The view out the Master window is lovely and the bathrooms and kitchen are updated. It was decorated very cute with a perfect lounging chair for reading or watching Tv!

Great stay!

We had a great stay. The house was nice and the perfect setup for our family. The golf cart worked great and was very nice to have to get around the resort and to get to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We didn’t receive the code to the key box for the golf cart key upon arrival which was annoying to have to call the office and wait on hold for 30 minutes to get the code to be able to use the golf cart, but otherwise, everything else was great!

Wonder place to stay!

The house was clean and smelled wonderful. The colors inside the house was inviting and relaxing. The refrigerator was clean/spotless. Easy interaction with Joy Reality. Easy access to the pond and pool. We used the golf cart to go to the beach and Baytown. Wonderful place.

Great Winter Get-Away!

Overall great experience! The unit looked exactly as advertised! Only issue was that we were a little confused about the check-in process on the resort but the resort staff clarified easily. The property owners/managers were also easy to contact and responded in a timely manner. We would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends! Would also stay here again!

Off season getaway

We booked last minute and had great luck with this rental. The communication was prompt and clear, the home was spotless and very comfortable. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. Having a golf cart was a lot of fun. We didn’t use the shuttle but it would definitely be a perk if you didn’t have a vehicle or it was a more crowded time of year. Overall, would recommend this property to others!

As Advertised

The property was lovely. Located in a great area in reference to distance to the beach and the Baytowne Wharf. Property met all of our needs. The only thing I could say that was slightly disappointing was I wish the water got warmer/hotter when showering. Everything else about our stay was great. Plenty of room for everyone and again, the location was great. We love Sandestin!
