Home away from home

We love the property and would want to return in the future. Oceanfront, clean, all the necessities were in the condo which then gave us time to just enjoy ourselves rather than having to go find what we need (kitchen wares, laundry, etc.)

Would stay again

Looks like the condo had been recently renovated and was nicely outfitted with everything we needed. Kitchen was really nice and the beverage fridge is a plus. The only downfall I see of this place is hearing sliding chairs from the floor above.

Perfect Week!

The condo was everything we expected and more. The views were stunning, the condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Multiple elevators right near the room was great! The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having such close access to the pool and beach. We will definitely return!

Perfect Spot

We booked this property as a last minute decision. As frequent visitors to North Topsail Beach, I was a little nervous as we always have stayed in single family homes. I can say this property was perfect for us and did not disappoint! The only downfall was the cockroaches on the balcony at night. The views were amazing, the condo well equipped and very easy beach access. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was beachfront on the sixth floor, which made it seem like we were on a cruise ship the whole time. There were two elevators that made it very convenient. We were surprised how quiet it was. Very nice.

We enjoyed our stay. One issue that is not mentioned. The unit is right under dance floor in restaurant. There were 2 nite events that kept us up late, the noise was annoying.

Amazing!

I searched and searched for the "perfect" place to stay - oceanfront balcony, amazing views, beach area, pool, updated decor, elevator, restaurant. This condo had everything, and more! This corner unit has tons of windows and ALL THREE bedrooms have a balcony w/PERFECT views of the ocean AND pool! The upgrades & decor were absolute perfection & made us feel like home. Location made it super easy for my elderly mom to get around on her own. There are two elevators right outside the door, pool is on ground level & there is a ramp to the beach w/no stairs. The restaurant upstairs had delicious seafood & plenty of on-site amenities so you never have to leave the resort. Highly recommend!

Nice unit in an outdated building

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend with my family. The unit has a breath taking view of the ocean from all three bedrooms. The unit is as pictured in the description. Pros: Amazing ocean views Off the beaten path in N Topsail with plenty of space on the beach Great kitchen for cooking Cons: The building is in desperate need of repair - the lobby is dark, old and smelly The elevator is so gross, the exposed pipes are rusty, ceilings are peeling. Every inch of the building needs repair and power wash You have to make the beds when you arrive- which considering the price and because it’s not indicated in any of the checkin instructions was annoying after a long drive to get there. You also have to remove the linens when you check out (also not included in the written instructions) The unit floors had not been mopped. The game room is old and dirty. Pretty much all the building “amenities” are ick. Conclusion- it’s not worth the price. You can rent a single family or townhouse for less and in better condition in N. Topsail/ Surf City

I'm delighted to hear this guest enjoyed the breathtaking ocean views and found the condo as pictured, complete with a well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately Memorial Day weekend was unusually cool and rainy with little opportunity to enjoy the outdoor amenities. I can understand that this would be disappointing for a Memorial Day beach weekend. Although the building is older, it is also as pictured in the listing and the HOA does a good job of maintaining and updating the facilities. For example, the pool area has been upgraded and refurbished for the season, but sadly these guests weren't able to enjoy it due to the weather. I have passed along the guest's feedback to the HOA, as there is always room for improvement. Regarding the linens, we state very clearly in the pre-arrival information that linens are included and that stripping the beds is part of the checkout process. We have two other condos in the building that were also reserved for the holiday weekend with no complaints about sheets, or the building and amenities. We also have overwhelmingly positive reviews for this condo. That said, we recognize that everyone has their own tastes and preferences and feedback is always appreciated.

Great view but noisy

The room was as shown in the pictures. Con’s: What the pictures fail to show is that the beach is at low tide during those photos. When it was high tide, there was no beach to lounge on. There’s a restaurant on property as well, what the listing doesn’t mention is that it’s directly above the condo. The proved annoying as the chairs scraping across the floor is loud. And having an infant and 5 year old whose bedtime is prior to the restaurant closing, was difficult to get them to sleep. The floors were nasty. If it was mopped, you couldn’t tell it. Our feet were black by the time we went to bed. It states that linens are provided but doesn’t disclose you have to make your own bed. Again, having an infant and 5yr old; after driving for 4 hours, the last thing I want to do is make a bed. There were dead roaches in the room and on the balcony. The refrigerator door didn’t have the trays that hold your eggs or condiments in it. And while the listing and the resort websites both say no animals, there were plenty of dogs that weren’t service animals there. The balcony doors were difficult to open as well. All of them. It’s like they need some grease or lubricant on them. I feel it was overpriced for what you get because unless you read all the reviews, you wouldn’t know about. Also, there’s almost no shells to gather. That could just be the location though. Pros: the view. And sitting on the balcony, you can’t hear anything but the ocean waves. Beds comfortable.

However the nature of the condo setting is that there is always a potential for some noise transfer. The availability of shells and beach tides are indeed subject to natural variations that are beyond our control. We regret the cleaning issues and any bug sightings. We spray regularly and prioritize cleanliness. Had we been informed, we would have acted promptly to resolve the issue. Rest assured, we're addressing the refrigerator shelf issue with a new unit. Great property

It is a wonderful property and the owners are very accommodating. The only draw back is the condo is right underneath the restaurant and on the weekends they sometimes have weddings there. There is a DJ and the music can heard in the condo. The the music is supposed to end at 10pm but that isn't always the case. We ended up making plans to stay out of the condo until after 10 and it worked out well. Other than the loud music the property is very clean and has incredible views of the ocean,

Family Adult Vacation

I can begin by saying I am very particular and have high expectations and this met them overall. We enjoyed our stay and would conisder returning in the future. Our condo was clean and decorated beautifully. The ocean view was fabulous. We are a family of 6, all adults ages 19 to 55. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We spent time at the beach everyday. We spent very little time at the pool. It was more crowded with little ones. We did have lunch one day at the pool and the food was very good. There was live music at the pool one day which was fun. We ate at the restaurant upstairs and it was excellent. We patroned the ice cream shop near the lobby almost everyday. We made use of the fitness facility and sauna. Overall it was very enjoyable and the condo had great amenities and we would highly recommend it to others!

Loved the St. Regis Resort and its' amenities. We paid for the beach umbrella and chairs and spent most of the day on the beach - definitely worth the cost. Food was really good at the poolside cafe and the 7th floor restaurant. Only wish the cafe had more consistent hours of service and the restaurant had enough staff for take-out orders. Be prepared to drive for food or cook in. We will be back!

Beautiful Condo

The best rental property I've used on the island. The condo was beautifully furnished and the balcony view was outstanding.

Our apartment was beautiful!!

The property owner was awesome!! She sent us everything that you would need to know about the area. She answered all my questions within 10 minutes!! Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great Condo on the Top floor with amazing views morning and night. Kitchen was great and wanted to just go ahead and live year round in the master bedroom.

St. Regis Resort amenities include outdoor pool and pool grill, gym with sauna, outdoor grills and picnic areas throughout the resort grounds, on-site restaurant, basketball court and playground. (Indoor pool is undergoing renovations and is closed for the season.)
