The massive, covered deck and outdoor grill make entertaining a breeze, all while being set against fantastic creek side views. With 7 bedrooms, including a bunk room, and 6 full bathrooms arranged thoughtfully throughout, The Drake ensures comfort and privacy for all guests. This cabin sleeps 20.

*** Peak season and spring break require a 3-night minimum. Holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and Independence Day require a 4-night minimum. 2-night stays may be available during weekdays and off-peak times. ***


• GATHERING SPACE
Upon entering The Drake, the warmth of an open floor plan welcomes you into a realm of modern rustic elegance. The heart of the main level is the living room, where an impressive floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace stands as a stunning focal point. This space is adorned with newly updated décor, featuring an oversized sectional, matching loveseat, footrest, and additional lounge seating, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and socializing. The spirit of competition is alive with the inclusion of a shuffleboard table, adding a playful touch to the living area.
The seamless flow from the living room to the kitchen and dining area epitomizes open concept living. The kitchen, equipped with modern appliances including a double oven, dishwasher, and gas stovetop, caters to every culinary need. With seating for 4 at the bar and an additional 10 at the dining table, hosting gatherings becomes an effortless affair.
The laundry room is also located on the first floor for guest convenience.
Ascending to the loft, guests are treated to a veritable entertainment haven, packed with multiple arcade consoles among other amenities, ensuring that the indoor gathering spaces of The Drake offer endless enjoyment and luxury for all who step inside.



• BEDROOMS: SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
The cabin features 7 bedrooms and includes 5 king bedrooms (3 on the main floor, 2 on the second), 1 queen bedroom on the 3rd floor, and 1 bunkroom with 2 queen-over-queen bunkbeds on the second floor. It has 6 full baths and comfortably sleeps 20 guests in beds. All bedrooms have private or semi-private bathrooms, and all beds feature premium linens and luxury mattresses.

The Drake's sleeping accommodations are a testament to luxury and comfort, thoughtfully designed across its expansive layout. Just off the kitchen, a hallway introduces the first of three main-level king bedrooms. This king bedroom does not have a private in suite bathroom, but the full bathroom is conveniently located across the hall. The Master Suite is also found on the main level. This suite is a sanctuary of relaxation, featuring an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a copper soaking tub, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the stunning natural vistas outside.

Another king suite on the main floor provides similar luxury with a private bathroom and walk-in shower, ensuring privacy and ease for guests.

Ascend to the second level to discover two more king suites, each boasting private baths with walk-in showers, continuing the theme of exclusive comfort. Every bedroom in The Drake is equipped with high-end luxury mattresses, fine pillows, linens, and smart TVs, underscoring a commitment to guest comfort.

The second floor also unveils a loft, leading to a bunk room outfitted with 4 queen beds. There is not a private bathroom for the bunk room, they will have to share. Further exploration through a spiral staircase in the loft reveals the final bedroom, offering a cozy queen bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower.

The outdoor areas of The Drake are meticulously designed to enhance your stay with a blend of relaxation and entertainment amidst nature's backdrop. The journey begins on the spacious covered deck, where an oversized outdoor sofa invites you to unwind by the warmth of the gas fireplace, all while enjoying your favorite shows on the smart TV.
Progressing through the patio, you encounter formal outdoor dining tables with seating for 12, perfect for al fresco meals under the open sky. A gas grill, complete with propane, stands ready on the covered patio, ensuring every meal is grilled to perfection. The epitome of relaxation awaits with an 8-person hot tub, providing a serene spot to soak away the evening under the stars.
Venturing beyond the patio into the backyard reveals a playscape designed with young guests in mind, offering endless hours of fun. Additionally, a horseshoe setup, additional outdoor games, and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs invite leisurely evenings of gathering. Complementing the outdoor entertainment area, the tranquil creek views and soothing sounds of running water serve as a picturesque backdrop, making The Drake's outdoor spaces an idyllic setting for both relaxation and playful adventure.

The cabin is positioned on 2.3+ wooded acres in the Timber Creek Trails Addition. There are plenty of things to keep you busy on the property, but it’s also conveniently located near some of Hochatown’s most sought-after amenities:

Just what we were looking for
Great place for a wide range of ages to stay. It was blistering hot during our stay and the indoor activities gave us plenty to stay entertained. Pros: best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had at a VRBO. Tons of covered porch area that accommodated all 14 of us easily! Comfy beds, wonderful linens, amazing washer and dryer and wonderful Hot tub. Almost all rooms have on suite bath. Cons: as stated in other reviews, beds are REALLY high and difficult for older and very young folks. Probably the biggest disappointment was the terrain of the yard. Photos don’t indicate the pitch of the home. The play yard is down a fairly steep slope that is covered with rocks that slide and give as you try to walk down. My 86 year old dad and our 2 two year olds couldn’t navigate it. Even the horse shoes were a bit of a problem. Just know it is NOT a flat area at all. And as others had mentioned it is very close to the road. One other thing worth mentioning about the area is that traffic on the weekends is horrendous. Not the fault of this property owner for sure, but it easily took 35 minutes to get to the main part of Hocha Town for supplies, mini golf, etc. Thanks Tin Star for a terrific stay. We’ll be back!

Great spot for a large crowd
We had a group of 14, not 20. So, we had plenty of space for everyone. It rained the majority of the time we were there, so the patio and the 11 fans!! on the patio were our saving Grace! It was so relaxing to view the trees and creek from the patio. The only negative to the cabin is that is not as secluded as the listing indicates. It’s right off the road, so you see/hear the cars on the road from the patio and you see 2 cabins on the side of the home from the patio where you wave to your neighbors. The 2 acres are in the back and in one side. Thank you for allowing us to stay! We had a great time and loved the cabin.
