The Neighborhood:
This beautiful cabin is located in the Mountain Shadows Resort. There is an outdoor, seasonal pool. There is also a playground. The cabin is very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg (10 minute drive) and several entrances to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park!

Getting Around:
We recommend 4x4 wheel drive anywhere in The Great Smoky Mountains. This cabin features paved roads all the way up and is easy to reach but we still recommend 4x4 wheel drive.

Other Things to Note:
Must be 21 or older to book this cabin.

This cabin sleeps 8 guests maximum.

We always recommend 4x4 drive for anywhere in The Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way up and without any inclement weather any car should be fine but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area.

Gas fireplaces are seasonal and operate around October-March give or take depending on the weather.

Coffee maker is a regular and Keurig coffee maker. (bring own coffee)

The best!

We had a wonderful experience! The host was so attentive, extremely responsive, and clearly determined to make our stay perfect! The cabin itself was perfect. It had an amazing view on both decks, was very clean and spacious, and had plenty of extra towels and linens. It was perfect for the two of us, but had more than enough room for another couple if we had brought another two along. The community itself is quiet, safe, and well laid out. Could not recommend a stay here more!

Weekday Getaway

The house was beautiful, having the hot tub was wonderful and everything went smoothly. The house was a short drive away from Gatlinburg , and the drive there wasn’t too bad at all. It was such a fun experience!! I have no complaints.

Little gem

If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to recharge this is your place. Just a short drive to stores and downtown. Check in was simple and quick response from the owner!! My husband and I were celebrating wedding anniversary.... perfect for us!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so close to the sports complex we had a soccer tournament. Made the back and forth so easy to do. The cabin was great and we enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you for a wonderful weekend trip.

Good for location

Arrived about 5:30, smoke alarm started beeping at 7-ish. Guy arrives to change out batteries at 9:30. At 12:15 am, smoke alarm started beeping again. Needless to say, we did not get any sleep. Maintenance arrived next morning about 10, changed batteries again. A little over an hour as we were trying to take a nap (from lack of sleep), the smoke alarm beeped again. Maintenance came out again and changed batteries…alarm beeped again within 30 min. Management company’s response, “batteries go bad sometimes, we’ll replace and give you an extra 2 hours at check out”. I told them that it clearly was more than just batteries. Needless to say, they simply unplugged them. No compensation for no sleep the first night. Description and pictures show 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. They forget to mention that both bedrooms are downstairs and share a bath. The other full bath is on the main floor. Also, there is a fridge/freezer, but NO ice maker. So make sure to stop and get a bag of ice. The cabin needs a lot of TLC. If you have a small family and will always be “on the go”, then it probably would be fine. Otherwise, fine something else.

Get away

Wife and I needed a long weekend get away and this was perfect! Cabin was great and location was too! The whole booking process was so easy. Everyone we had contact with were extra nice especially Chris. Doing a Sunday to Wednesday made it very affordable and less crowded in Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay here again

Weekend get away

The house was great for our quick weekend get away for me and my husband. It was close to restaurants and grocery store. For our short stay we didn't do any cooking. But the Keurig was perfect for our morning coffee. The hot tub temp was great. It did have a musty smell prob needing chlorine or filter change. The bathroom downstairs did not get hot enough For our liking. None of these were deal breakers. We would definitely book again. Thanks for allowing us to book on short notice.

Great stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described in the property listing. Excellent communication by the host! Super efficient and very responsive. The description is serious when suggesting a 4 x 4 vehicle. If the weather was not good, those roads would be no joke! But fortunately, we had great weather and our minivan made the curvy, steep trip.

Old and not week kept

This property was in a good location near Gatlinburg but was not well kept. The under the counter lights in the kitchen didn’t work. And the kitchen was very dark. We had to use our phone lights to look in cabinets. The lights on the porches did not work and when we messaged the property management they said look for batteries and light bulbs and replace them. There was no instructions there when we arrived about the Wi-Fi access, so we had to leave the property to find phone service and message the property management to get access. This cabin had not been cleaned properly we had to sweep spiderwebs out of the showers and there were broken blinds from a dog chewing on them. There were dog scratches on multiple doors. For the money we paid for this cabin, we would have lift the day we arrived if we could have gotten our money back.

Good, but could have been better.

Nice cabin in the mountains, close to town, quiet. The only cons to this place were the view of the mountains is very obstructed by trees (not same as what was pictured on listing), there was a lot of dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling and in all the higher areas of the corner of the rooms (if presentation and cleanliness is important then they need a new cleaning crew, this is not a great first impression), and we had a major ant problem when we were there, which I get we are in the woods but there was no ant trap in the entire cabin so they just went after all of our food (obviously).

Clean and beautiful Cabin

This cabin has everything you want for a trip to the Smokey Mountains. The cabin is spacious, clean and has an incredible woodsy smell. The beds were so comfortable and the amenities were up to date. You can’t get 3 huge TV’s or the feel of a cabin in the woods in a hotel room! I would recommend to my friends and family!

Absolutely great experience!

I rarely leave reviews but exceptional customer service, while also going above and beyond deserves to be recognized. We had a small issue with one of the amenities at our unit. We were able to reach Chris, the property manager within minutes at 9 PM on a Saturday evening, even on a holiday weekend! He had a temporary fix available that night, and a permanent solution for us by the next morning! He stayed in constant contact with us throughout the whole situation and followed up to make sure everything was satisfied to our needs. He was super easy to work with and saved our vacation weekend. I never stay at the same property or resort twice but I can honestly say I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this place again. Thanks again!
