Close to a lot of exciting activities and day trips. The scenic and fast moving North Fork of the Feather river is 25 minutes away with tubing, fishing, swimming and lots of fun side creeks to explore and stay cool in. Of course the lake is right around the corner. Great parks and mountain biking in Chico as well. River Bend park in Oroville is 12 minutes south and has a water play area, huge soccer fields, pavilions, river access and fishing.

Lake Oroville Dam (the tallest and largest Dam in the United States) is about 25 minutes, the fish hatchery in Oroville about 15 minutes. 2 casinos in Oroville are both about 20 minutes. Mount Lassen National Park is about 90 miles North, Lakes Basin is about 2 hours, and Lake Tahoe is a little over 2 hours away. Downtown Chico is 20 minutes, Costco in Chico is less than 20 minutes and Super Walmart in Oroville is about 15 minutes South. Let the hosts know if you ride or are bringing dirt bikes.
