Hi, I’m JD — a local Alaskan host with a practical streak and a big heart for families looking to explore the real Alaska. I’ve lived and worked all over the state and know firsthand how important it is to have a comfortable, dependable place to come home to — especially when traveling with kids or extended family.

I own a small contracting and mechanical business, so I personally maintain all of my homes and know every inch of them. If anything comes up during your stay, I’m never far and always quick to respond. My goal is to make sure you feel taken care of so you can focus on what matters most — spending time with your loved ones.

My Lady, Daphne, is a Native Alaskan from the Bethel region, and we both put a lot of care into creating spaces that reflect the warmth and hospitality of rural Alaska. Our homes are clean, practical, and surrounded by nature — not fancy hotels, but real places with real heart, made for families who want to make memories.
