Property is on McKay Bay in Lake Huron with local fishing available and freighters to view.
It is located about 20 miles east of the Mackinaw Bridge. It has a large crib dock and deep water for tying up your boat. Sleeps 2 in cabin; 7 in main house. Cabin oven not in operation; gas stove works fine. no Wi-Fi

The House next to it is newly remolded with new kitchen, dishwasher, electric stove, fridge, overhead fans; Bathroom with shower/tub; half bath near garage entrance; gas grill available; dining area; fully stocked kitchen and baking essentials; fire ring by the shore; firewood not always supplied; maybe purchased in the area.

This cabin was all it was described to be - perfect for the 2 of us for a few days. Nice, quiet area, good access to the water, and a few miles from Cedarville and other points of interest. Easy check in and out - really appreciate the hospitality of this cabin. We look forward to another visit in the future!

The cabin was adequate for our two-night stay. To clarify, the cabin is located to the left of a larger home and the view of the water is through some large cedar trees down a hill. It was a little awkward with the other guests, but we weren't there much. For the price per night, it worked for our stay and the owner was prompt with communication.

Nice, cozy cottage!

Perfect for a weekend getaway with my spouse. Cabin was very clean and affordable. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed and pillow were. Slept great both nights. It was very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend for couples.

Nice Little Place

Very nice little cabin. We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is closer to the very quiet street (less than 10 cars/day) than it is to the water but still very nice. The dock was more than sufficient for our little fishing boat (even had electricity at the dock to charge boat batteries). Space was clean and well appointed. Very nice launching point for Les Cheneaux area exploration.

Very Charming Cabin on the Water

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The neighborhood was very quiet and offered the downtime and relaxation that was much needed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Monica responded very quickly to all my inquiries both prior and during our stay. I highly recommend this cabin for an adult and child or for a couple.

Wonderful!!

We were visiting family in the area and this was the perfect “home” base. The cabin was immaculate. It IS small, but perfect as we were running around all over most days. The neighborhood is quiet and we even had some friend neighbor dogs that came to visit each day. We had bonfires and enjoyed the view. All in all just perfect.

I really wanted to love this place BUT it needs some work. The mattress was sagging and super uncomfortable. The water smells really bad. And the privacy was lacking with the house being occupied. With the windows open for air flow, the house occupants had an unobstructed view of our bed while they sat in the garage. They also left on the garage light during the night. You might consider adding some shrubs to block this view.
Window at the foot of the bed. Luckily we had a small fan to add privacy and air flow.
