What a beautiful place to stay when coming to bourbon country. The house is tucked away and quiet on a beautiful farm, but pretty close to most of the distilleries. It is very nice and clean inside and out. Everything we needed was there. The animals there to interact with were an added plus as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the area. You won't be disappointed!

Stayed a few nights in the cabin. It’s a clean, well kept cabin in the woods. We had a chance to meet the hosts and they were very nice. Cabin is close to lots of distilleries for tours. Definitely recommend

Cute place!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace every night and it’s super peaceful. The dogs and donkeys are adorable. Super clean and beautiful property.

It was a wonderful 3 day “get away “ for a long time friend and I. Totally enjoyed our time there. A couple of suggestions. Put a light over the mirror in the bathroom and a grab bar around the bathtub. We needed bedding for the pull out couch bed and some kitchen trash bags for the trash can in the kitchen. We also needed automatic dishwasher pods. Otherwise we will be back to enjoy the beautiful cabin.

This property was fantastic! The cabin was absolutely spotless and well equipped. The fireplace was the cherry on top. We are planning another stay in the near future and recommend this property highly. The owners/hosts were awesome as well. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Mt. Eden Cabin

The cabin was wonderful. We had so much fun going to the state park, Kentucky Derby, and checking out little towns close by. We really enjoyed being able to fish on the property and be greeted by all the animals. It was a beautiful place to stay to relax and disconnect from everyday obligations and expectations. I would highly recommend this cabin.. The location was great.

Cute cabin, great weekend stay for the bourbon trail

Really cute small cabin. Had everything we needed. Owner offered barrel wood for firewood which is a great touch. Made for a great trip to Kentucky. Great location for the bourbon trail. Right between the majority of the distilleries. It was a little difficult finding at night but not too bad.

Cute place, but very remote.

This is a very cute, very clean cabin with a unique loft style bedroom that you don't see everywhere. The location was the main drawback. It is *very* remote, which we were not expecting. This meant our internet & cell service were spotty, at best. That said, if truly dosconnecting is your goal, then this would be an ideal location. There is also only a 1 (ish) lane road leading to the driveway to the cabin. Also, please bear in mind that your GPS may lead you astray. Be sure to *ignore* GPS instructions that tell you to turn onto Fred Bauer Rd. That is not the road that leads to the cabin. There is a sign on Murphy that is the correct driveway.

Bourbon Trail Getaway

The cabin is so cozy and perfect for a getaway with a spouse or small group! We loved the firepit and walking around the grounds. Located in the middle of the bourbon trail, it makes it easy to get to many places.
