Gary's Place ist kein Hotel und nicht am Strand, keine Überraschungen hier. High 30. Etage mit kostenlosem WLAN, OrtsgesprĂ€chen und kostenlosen ParkplĂ€tzen!

LAGE: Befindet sich an der Kreuzung der Kuhio und Royal Hawaiian Avenue. Dies versetzt Sie in den Mittelpunkt von Waikiki. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt, die Bushaltestelle vor dem GebÀude, mehrere LebensmittelgeschÀfte innerhalb eines Viertels, TouristeneinkÀufe innerhalb eines Viertels, SupermÀrkte innerhalb eines Viertels, der internationale Marktplatz ist drei Viertels entfernt. Gehen, fahren oder fahren Sie am richtigen Ort.

DAS GEBÄUDE: Das Royal Kuhio ist 38 Stockwerke groß und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine Reihe von bevorzugten Annehmlichkeiten. Wenn Sie die schöne Lobby betreten, werden Sie die Sicherheitsstation und die verschlossenen ZugangstĂŒren zu den Aufzugshallen bemerken. Die 7. Etage bietet eine Reihe von Optionen. Sie können sich einfach sonnen oder den Pool, den Fitnessraum, die Saunen oder das Putting Green nutzen.

Um die Kinder zu beschĂ€ftigen, bietet die 7. Etage auch Tischtennis, Billard, Paddle-Tennis und Âœ-Platz-Basketball. Sowohl Holzkohle- als auch Gasgrill sind verfĂŒgbar. Eine große ĂŒberdachte, mit Teppich ausgelegte Freiluft-Veranda steht zu Ihrer VerfĂŒgung. Nur fĂŒr den Fall, dass Sie ein paar WĂ€sche waschen mĂŒssen, verfĂŒgt die MĂŒnzwaschmaschine im 7. Stock ĂŒber mehr als 20 Wasch- und Trockenmaschinen. Im GebĂ€ude reservierte ParkplĂ€tze sind ohne Aufpreis enthalten.

DIE WOHNUNG: Garys Wohnung befindet sich in Privatbesitz und ist ein Nichtraucherhaus. Es befindet sich in der 30. Etage des GebĂ€udes mit Blick auf den ruhigen und gelassenen Ala Wai, den Golfplatz und die Berge. Die Wohnung ist so konzipiert, dass der Kunde eine breite Palette von Möglichkeiten bietet. In der voll ausgestatteten KĂŒche können Sie beispielsweise zwischen einer vollstĂ€ndigen Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten, leichten Mahlzeiten, Snacks oder nur kalten GetrĂ€nken wĂ€hlen.

Temperaturkomfort: Öffnen Sie die Veranda-TĂŒr und spĂŒren Sie die Brise oder schalten Sie den Deckenventilator ein oder schließen Sie die TĂŒr und drehen Sie die Klimaanlage auf.

BADEMÖGLICHKEITEN: Mit der kombinierten Wannendusche können Sie entweder ein beruhigendes Bad in der Badewanne oder eine erfrischende Dusche wĂ€hlen, die von sehr kĂŒhl bis dampfend heiß reicht.

UNTERHALTUNG: Ein 32 "-Flachbildfernbedienungskabel T. V Ein kombinierter Radio- / CD-Player, ein kombinierter VHS- / DVD-Player. Oder vielleicht nur die Stille und ein gutes Buch. Great experience!

Gary’s place was clean, had everything we needed for our vacation. Can’t beat the location, it was close to everything. The International Market Place, the Beach, Restaurants, a bus stop right in front of the building. And the parking garage was a real plus. Would definitely stay there again!

Great value

Very close to all the upscale attractions Waikiki has to offer. The A/C in the unit is a must have for those not used to the climate, just have to empty the water catch twice a day which isn't a big deal. Comfy bed. The reserved parking spot is also one of the best perks of this rental. Great stay all around.

Not enough time

I wish we had stayed in this rental property longer than 2 days, we didn't have enough time to enjoy all the amenities. That being said the actual room we had was very nice, we had a great view and took advantage of the balcony. The location was ideal, within walking distance of so much activities and the beach. I have family members who did stay in the Royal Kuhio and had great things to say about it.

Waikiki Cozy Gem

From the moment we walked in to the day we left, it felt like home. The host made sure to provide essential items to make this long term stay as comfortable as possible. By being on the mauka side, you have a beautiful view from the lanai. Beach items and games were provided for use during the stay. Everything is as pictured and was a great choice in the heart of Waikiki. Conveniently in walking distance to many restaurants, stores, and beaches. The building and unit are greatly secured and create a safe environment. Plus, it came with a parking spot, which was essential for my stay and scarce in Waikiki. Gary’s Place is truly the jackpot!

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and even better was the accommodation available at Gary's Place. Location was excellent, right across the street from McDonald's and a block away our favourite Udon place. Gary's Place has everything you need for a family of 3-4. Kitchen is stocked with what you need to make your own food and there was some water equipment along with chairs you could use on the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a great place to stay at a good price while travelling to Hawaii. Oh yes, free parking is always a bonus as it's hard to park for free near Waikiki. We loved Gary's Place and will definitely be going back next time we are in Honolulu. Thanks for everything Gary.

Cozy apartment right in the heart of Waikiki

Four of us stayed in Gary's apartment, which was equipped with everything we needed for a great time in Hawaii - fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs and umbrella, ironing board (for ironing shirts for attending a wedding). The air conditioning unit was noisy so we just slept with the windows open. The bathroom is basic and could use an update. Location is great for exploring Waikiki, as it is near the beach (less than 10 min walk), grocery store (Food Pantry), restaurants and shopping (Nordstrom Rack right across the street!).

Great stay

The condo is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the center of Waikiki and be able to walk everywhere. The canal view is beautiful at night and is a bit more quiet than facing Kuhio Street (there is no escaping all traffic noise in Waikiki) . We never heard our neighbors either. The free parking is probably the biggest benefit. The condo is small, but works for 2 people - I wouldn’t be able to do it with 4 adults. We had 2 large suitcases and 2 large travel golf bags and it was a challenge finding space to store them, but we made it work. The 7th floor is a nice area and the washateria area is large. Gary also provides everything you need for a day at the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks, Gary

This place does not disappoint.

First time using VRBO and dealing with Gary has been very easy as he answers all questions promptly. The pictures do not do the place any justice, the rental is so much nicer in person. It is very clean and very well stocked with towels, dishes and things to take to the beach. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. There were 4 of us staying here and there was plenty of space for everyone. The view of the Ala Wai Canal and golf course is very serene and nice way to start the morning on the lanai with a cup of coffee, and of course ending the night with a glass with a nice breeze on the lanai. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something that is not overly crowded and away from the busy streets of Waikiki. I am so glad I took a leap of faith and rented this place during our 10 day stay in Waikiki. The Royal Kuhio is a great central location and everything is walking distance. Thank you very much Gary for this wonderful rental in Waikiki. Aloha!

Mini vacation

I went to Oahu for couple days and stayed at Royal KĆ«hiƍ. Like it a lot most especially the security system. From entering the elevator from the garage and going to the unit. You have the security devise that you use to go in and out the elevator and the main lobby to go to your unit. The unit itself was just perfect . King size bed very comfortable. I didn’t bother to use the air conditioner since I’m on the 30th floor the breeze coming in was just I wanted. Experience the island weather I just open all the window . The kitchen was complete what your basic gadgets. With extra tamper-wares to pack your food to the beach. The cooking pans could be replace and the knives can be a little sharp for slicing. First night after shower the tub drain was stacked. Had to call the maintenance the next day. And sure did they fix it right away. It was chairs and beach umbrella, one was broken. It has beach towels and extras. Perfect location, across is McDonald’s for perfect island breakfast ( rice, sausage and eggs) walking distance to all the stores and restaurants. Definitely if ever I get the chance to come back I’ll stay at this unit again.

My sister and I had a wonderful time at Gary's place. The apartment was clean and it had all of the appliances we needed to prep / cook meals. The location was also convenient; it's about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach and the room is very quiet because it is on the 30th floor. Lastly, the owner was very professional. We loved staying here

We loved the location, cleanliness, accuracy and the security of the building. Also a parking spot is available which is very convenient. The owner was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful! Ideal location, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, responsive host.

Highly recommend and will book again. Gary's place had everything we needed for a month-long stay. Kitchen had what we needed to do our own cooking, including a slow cooker. Nice to have a Brita pitcher in the fridge. King bed is very comfortable and we spent lots of time on the lanai. Royal Kuhio is in a great location: 5 min walk to the beach, easy walk to restaurants/shops, right next to a Biki rental bike dock, and bus stop is right outside the bldg (buses to mall, grocery store, even HNL airport). We didn't rent a car the whole month. Gary responded right away whenever I had questions. We also appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella and cooler provided. Coin laundry in the bldg is clean and convenient, lots of machines, just need to save quarters..

It was conveniently located, room was clean, cozy, nice as described, balcony has a good view. Couch needs replaced but covered it with clean linen they provided. Overall room was very nice and as described, would definitely recommend if you are budget minded and not overly sensitive by the lack of luxury. Owner went above and beyond to provide the basics of home...

Nice apartment in conveient location

Comfortable apartment in excellent location for retail and entertainment. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of mountains and Ala Wai canal.

Great stay aside from the 30th floor location

Cleanliness was excellent. Spacious enough for a smaller unit.. Attention to interior design. King size bed. Comfy sofa. Clean & complete small kitchen. Plenty of towels. Great view of hillside. Window air conditioner needed to be drained manually. Location of 30th floor resulted in total dependency of elevators. At a busy time, they got extremely crowded and stopped at almost every floor. Once the power was shut down for the entire building with insufficient notification. I had an emergency errand to the pharmacy to make but was not able to leave the room & no one was available to speak to by phone after calling three different numbers. Eventually a maintenance assistant returned my call later & explained that the elevators were being worked on. But, the posted signage by the lobby elevators only stated that the laundry room would be affected. Overall, though, we had a very good experience & did enjoy our stay.

Rocky Start but Smooth Sailing

When my family and I got to the property the cleaners had not cleaned from the previous guests according to Gary. He was quick to respond and get us to a Hotel next door since it was too late to get a cleaner to the property. The very next day we arrived and everything was smooth sailing from there!

I have been coming to Hawaii for a lot of years and seen a lot of changes. Experiencing Hawaii is what it is all about! For example, take the "Owner photo". I was hanging around Sandy Beach enjoying the day and the van in the background pulls up and out pops a gentlemen with his preteen age son. Slider opens and they haul out this leather couch, the one in the photo, and put it on the sand under the palm tree. I asked "whats-up", and the kid says my dad and I found this couch along the road so we thought it would be nice here under the tree. I thought so too! I very much enjoyed sitting on that couch watching "Hawaii happen" all the while enjoying my daily newspaper. This is "experiencing" Hawaii.
Whenever I get the urge for grilled garlic shrimp, I mean the big ones, I head up to Titas Grill. Small little take-out cafe with tables across the street from Kahuku High school - up by Polynesian Cultural Center. Really "Ono"! Or, other days, I head up to Dillingham Field to watch the "kite-surfers". I mean they launch right next to you on this little beach. If I'm lucky I can pick up road side Rotisserie Chicken for dinner. Here is the best! I arrive at HNL around 3:00 PM, pick up rental car, drive to condo, change clothes, hop back in car drive to Rainbow Drive-in, pick-up pork cutlet plate (2 scoops rice, 1 scope rice, a lot of sliced pork and brown gravy, biggest diet coke, drive to Kings Beach, sit at picinic bench 50 feet from the beach, all the while watching the people and the sun dip into the Pacific. Yes, my friend Hawaii is all about the experience! Come join me! Gary
