Dieses charmante Ferienhaus hat eine unglaubliche Aussicht mit einer großen Terrasse auf den Dünen mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Kein langer Fußweg zum Strand ... steigen Sie einfach vom Deck in den Sand. Tauchen Sie ein in die Schönheit der Schöpfung Gottes, während Sie den Anblick und die Geräusche der Wellen einatmen.

Lassen Sie sich vom wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang umhüllen, während Sie Ihren Morgenkaffee genießen. Nach einem Spaziergang am Strand sollten Sie abends eine Decke ausbreiten und die Sterne beobachten, während die Wellen neben Ihnen plätschern. Es verjüngt Körper und Seele!

Dies ist ein besonderer Rückzugsort. Wir nennen es unsere Inseloase. Wir haben viele Ferien hier verbracht und hoffen, dass Sie es so einladend finden wie wir.

Wir haben festgestellt, dass wir uns nach unserer Inseloase sehnen, egal wohin wir reisen. Während all der Jahre, die wir hier verbracht haben, entdecken wir immer wieder neue und aufregende Dinge, die wir tun können.
Von Kutschfahrten entlang der Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen in der Innenstadt von Fernandina über Segway-Ausflüge durch die Nationalparks bis hin zu Tagesausflügen zum Jacksonville's Zoo oder nach Cumberland Island gibt es viele Aktivitäten, die Sie auf Trab halten. Wir scheinen nur zu bemerken, dass wir es vorziehen, zum Häuschen in den Dünen zurückzukehren.

Quiet and Relaxing Experience

Our 5th stay at Amy’s Cottage by the Sea. The view of the ocean and dunes is awesome, even on the rare rainy day. The Cottage is clean and cozy and the location is unbeatable. With easy access to restaurants , the greenway and downtown shops. Our absolute favorite place to stay in Fernandina.

Views of the ocean are beautiful. You are right on the beach. The cottage had everything we needed. Amy checked on us throughout the stay and promptly dealt with whatever issues arose. The cottage was perfect for us. This was our third time staying here, and each stay has been delightful.

I felt there was too much email, texting. Most rentals come with a notebook giving details about use of tvs or funky light switches, restaurants, etc. this would have made many of the texts unnecessary. Perhaps others prefer frequent texts. I prefer to unplug on vacation. It was a lovely spot. Thanks.

Wow!! What a great place!

Wow! We loved this place! Nice ocean views from the deck or the living room; which has plenty of windows and a nice big sliding glass door. A few steps to the beach which was excellent! Great beach for walking, bike riding, tanning, or swimming.A short bike ride to Fort Clinch which we definitely took advantage of. A short car ride to downtown Fernandina where most of the shops and restaurants are. The property is clean, recently refurbished, well stocked, and Amy was very attentive and easy to get in touch with! The bed was comfy and the bathrooms were clean and bright!Everything was as it should be. Perfect set up for my wife and I. We were very pleased and look forward to coming back!!

Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful two weeks at Amy’s property. We loved being right on the beach and seeing the sunrises every morning. The house is very well equipped, and Amy was very responsive. This is our new favorite rental on Amelia Island!

Spectacular Sunrises

This Beach Cottage is as pictured, wonderfully comfortable, perfect for two couples. everything we needed was provided in quantity and quality from linens and towels to appliances and hot water. We live in Fernandina but a long weekend living on the beach with beautiful sunrises is an extra special treat. Our land locked friends who joined us were equally impressed. Definitely on our "wish to return" list. Thank you Amy for taking good care of us

This was a great find right on the beach. Home was well appointed with all the necessities and then some. It is right on the beach with its own deck where you can watch and listen to the breaking waves. Everything you need is for a pleasant stay is right there. It was a cozy cottage and it was a perfect getaway. We were able to immediately put our toes in the sand after stepping off the porch and do easy bike rides to ft clinch and egans greenway. It’s a quick drive to the center of Fernandina or Jacksonville. It was a wonderful week.

This is the fourth time that we have stayed in the Cottage by the Sea. We have enjoyed every trip. We love the cottage and its location on the beach plus its access to restaurants and shopping. Beyond Perfect

This was our 4th stay at the “Cottage By The Sea” and we’re already planning our return for next year. Believe the other reviews. Everything about this property is excellent and designed for the perfect beach getaway. The location is private and quiet with off street parking and an up close view of the dunes and beach. Amy, the property owner is a perfect host focused on making sure you have the perfect stay.

Little bit of Heaven

This is my fourth year staying at the cottage. This year it was newly renovated and just as charming and wonderful. Communication with the host is excellent, I feel like we have become friends. For an example, in moving back into the newly renovated cottage we could not find a blender. A phone call and within the hour we had the blender. If you are looking for your little piece of heaven this is highly recommended.

The best little cottage on the beach!!

We have stayed at this little place for 2 years now. Once before the remodel and now after. We absolutely loved it both times, but the remodel is WOW! They did an excellent job on it. Brand new updated kitchen, new flooring, new laundry room, a new additional bathroom, and different bedroom setups. We love the location and the owner was staying in the house behind this place while we were here so it was nice to actually meet her. They are lovely people. Everything we needed was included and much appreciated. We will always try to get this same cottage when we come to the island, as we have come to think of it as our special little getaway. Thank y'all so much for sharing your wonderful little home and just being overall fantastic. We are so looking forward to coming back!!

We have vacationed on Amelia Island since I was a child. After I had children, we continued to visit Amelia Island. At some point we decided to visit other beaches. My children begged to go back to Amelia Island! We have always enjoyed searching for sharks' teeth, collecting seashells, biking downtown for ice-cream, feeding the birds.....Amelia Island is the place we long to be!

We fell in love with this property because of this little cottage. When I saw the unbelievable view of the ocean from inside the cottage, I started to cry. (And my husband knew it was a 'done deal'!) Our cottage has so much charm and character! It was built years ago, before the building setbacks were put in place. The location of our cottage is right on the sand! You just can't get any closer to the water! I think Amelia Island is special because it is not too commercialized. When you drive onto the island, you immediately feel the slower pace, the relaxed feel of the island! The main beach street has some new construction, but it also has a nice mix of old beach cottages that have been in families for years! It really adds a lot of character to the island. If you visit the downtown, you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Families are strolling along the sidewalks and peeking into charming shops, locally owned bookstores, and coffee shops. You can't leave downtown without a taste of ice-cream or homemade fudge from the Fantastic Fudge Shop!
