Welcome to The Hideaway at Taylormade! Our cabin that is “Taylormade” as the perfect hideaway for your family and friends, nestled in the canyon along the Taylor River and the majestic Rocky Mountains. This lofty mountain grandeur displays God's artistry unlike any other, so relax and enjoy the beauty surrounding you, making memories for a lifetime.

Do not be deceived, this is not a rustic cabin, but a cabin with luxury in its name. When you come in, kick off your shoes and warm your feet. The great room is joined by the open kitchen. Down the hall is the master bedroom/bathroom. Across the hall from the bedroom is the other full bath that serves the rest of the house. Upstairs is a loft with two queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. You'll love the log cabin look and feel of this space that backs up to 7 acres of mountainside adventure and fun. Across the street, (down to left about 800 yards;) you can fish your way to lunch in Almont, then fish your way back home. Don't miss out on this grand new adventure into the mountains!

Enjoyed our visit

We came to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. The cabin had everything we needed. Wasn't aware the proximity of the 2nd cabin was so close. Sitting on our porch, we could see straight into their cabin and vice versa. Property would be awesome for a big family to rent both. We just enjoy a lil bit more privacy, but we still had a great time.

Beautiful home inside and out, the property was well kept. Inside of the home was well laid out and everything provided. Master bedroom was a little dark, but I like a well-lit room. Certainly not a problem. Things labeled well. Three people were guests, and all were well pleased. we all felt the home was gorgeous. The owners should be complimented.

Great Cabin

We loved this cabin in Almont. Great location and close to Taylor and Gunnison Rivers, Taylor Reservoir, Gunnison, Crested Butte, and many great hiking trails. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the instant hot water! We love this area and have stayed at other places. This was our favorite.

Lovely, picturesque cabin up the Taylor Canyon. In town for son's graduation and this location was perfect. Allowed for quick trips into town for graduation events and to CB for all it has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Wonderful cabin in a great location outside of Crested Butte. It’s a very doable driving distance for day trips into town. We prefer hiking and being out in the mountains so the locations was perfect for our family. We had a pleasure of meeting the owners and they were extremely nice! We’ll be back for sure, thanks for everything!

Super Stay!!

Great stay!! We even had a "guest" that nibbled on our bread in the cabinet. 🐀 This was our first stay in the area. We enjoyed everything, especially the sunset view from the wrap around porch. We enjoyed the colors on Kebler and Ohio passes. We found the best colors along the Silver Thread highway between Lake City and Creede.

We hope to stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. We hope to stay here again soon. The property is clean and comfortable. The location is awesome. We like to cook and found the cookware somewhat lacking (skillets, baking dishes, etc.), but this is only a trivial objection. The bottom line is: we'll be back.

This is a great property for the family!

There were a couple of maintenance issues that the property manager was very receptive about, the microwave did not work, very slow drain in the master bath, and the seal around the refrigerator door was broken causing the refrigerator not to cool very good. It still cooled enough that we felt ok with having food in it. None of these things affected our overall experience and The communication with Jenny seemed like they were going to get those things checked out! I will definitely think of this property for future visits..

Beautiful cabin nestled in the Aspens

This cabin has an amazing wrap-around deck perfect for sitting and enjoying the beauty of the area and the nice cool air. Inside is open with a fireplace and high ceilings. There is a nice loft for additional sleeping quarters. We'd go again in a minute!

The cabin was perfect for 4 guys enjoying the local flyfishing and general sightseeing. Secluded yet close enough to civilization in Gunnison or Crested Butte. Will definitely recommend it to others. And would love to return some day!

Beautiful House, beautiful property.

Everything was amazing except for the mice. We've experienced them before so did not freak us out too much but the problem is ongoing. Mentioned multiple times in the guest book. The house is amazing, wifi, TV, heat in every room. Open and beautiful.
