Getaway to the Glades is a beautiful property that offers guest unlimited access to activities, no matter what season. Hundreds (or thousands) of local hiking trails, kayaking on the nearby Pemi River, mountain biking, horseback riding, Whale’s Tail Water Park, Polar Caves, The Flume, The Lost River, The Basin...the list goes on and on! Don’t forget skiing at Waterville Valley, Cannon Mountain or Loon. Snowmobile trail access is only 10 minutes away!

This getaway is also a perfect place to stay in for a night of “togetherness”.

Come enjoy this beautiful home nestled on the hillside overlooking the Franconia Notch mountain range. The view is breathtaking with a constantly changing panoramic view. Wake for the sunrise, you will not be disappointed!

Visiting in the winter? It is highly recommended to have 4x4, all-wheel drive or snow tires on your vehicle. The property is on a mountain side. While the local roads and our driveway are maintained, they are steep. At higher elevations snow fall is more frequent than in the valley.

THE HOUSE: Guests will enjoy spacious accommodations with 4 private bedrooms, 3 baths and ample room to lounge spread between 2 cozy living areas!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this home — truly 10 out of 5 stars. The kitchen was so well stocked that cooking meals together was effortless and enjoyable. The bathrooms were equally well supplied with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap, which made everything feel easy and comfortable.The house had everything we needed for a cozy winter getaway: tons of pillows and blankets, comfortable and plentiful beds and couches, and a great laundry setup. The views and yard were beautiful, and our kids had a blast sledding right outside when they weren’t skiing.The homeowner went above and beyond, keeping the driveway freshly plowed so getting in and out was never an issue. The fireplace kept us warm after long days on the mountain, and the huge selection of games kept everyone entertained in the evenings.They checked in on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would return in a heartbeat.

The host and hostess thought of everything as the house was meticulously provisioned with every convenience of home. In jest, it was quipped on many occasions that we just stay. We witnessed a strikingly crimson moon apex over the mountaintop. At first it appeared as though the mountain was being set ablaze, and we were witnessing the flame increase in stature; the haziness of the night adding to the effect. There was a point of concern that was, fortunately, quickly relieved when the moon's silhouette gave away its identity. What a sight!

Amazing snowy getaway!

An amazing snowy getaway, beautiful house with everything we needed & more. A gate @ the top of the stairs which for any parent with young kids knows how wonderful this is to have in a house you rent as you probably have them in your own home. Super clean, it snowed while we were there and the snow plow guy came first thing in the morning. Super flexible home owners to work with. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Beautiful location for exploring the White Mountains

Robyn & Jeff were lovely hosts and very responsive & accommodating. The house was perfect for our family of 10 (my family, my sister’s family & our parents). Lots of games, a well appointed kitchen, and plenty of space. The view is exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

An absolute gem of a rental!

Everyone in our group of retired gents on our 10th annual White Mt fishing trip absolutely loved these accommodations. After walking or kayaking for hours it was wonderful to come back to such clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable accommodations. The view, although obscured most of our stay by rain clouds, was still amazing. Use of the fire pit and access to the garage were very much appreciated. Robyn and Jeff are absolutely the best. They are very responsive, accommodating, caring and welcoming hosts. All six of us in our group highly recommend this rental.

The house is well maintained and the kitchen and bathroom have plenty of supplies for our mixed age group of 6 adults and 4 young kids. We have everything we need as if in our own house. The space is clean and beautifully designed. The mountain view is gorgeous. It feels a home away from home.

Great Stay

Great place. The view can not be beat. Property is well maintained and the owners were very accommodating. House easily fit the 7 adults in our party. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances(popcorn maker, Blender...) even had soap and shampoo for the shower. Very close to some great hiking trails.

Perfect getaway for family/ friends reunions!

We were three couples with adult daughters visiting New Hampshire for the fall colors and hiking. The house was perfect for us with 3 bedrooms with larger beds and one with multiple beds for the girls. The kitchen is really well stocked for family cooking if you are tired and would prefer to eat dinner at home . The best part of the house is the tremendous view from the second level deck! There is no need to drive around looking for views. Just watch both the sunrise and the moonrise right from the balcony! We would certainly recommend this vacation rental and hope to come back someday. Thank you Jeff and Robyn.

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing time! The house is wonderful and well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable. Check in and check out were very easy. The views from the house were outstanding. We were there in the fall and the leaves changed before our eyes. Make sure to take in at least one sunset and sunrise. Watching the changing colors in the sky and the shadows on the mountains while sipping on a warm drink on the deck may have been our favorite part of the trip! Thank you!

Best experience yet

We travel a lot and this was our best experience yet. This was hands down the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. It was comfortable, well organized, and stocked with everything you could need. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening and enjoying the beautiful views. The owners Jeff and Robyn are friendly and responsive to messages, they treated us like visiting friends. Don’t pass this one up!
