Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and slip into the serene beauty of the Vermont mountains. MapleDreams is tucked away in a peaceful, private wooded community—close enough to Killington (just 12 miles to the Access Road) to enjoy world-class skiing and adventure, yet far enough to soak in the quiet charm of Vermont’s countryside. Woodstock is an easy drive, and Sugarbush is only 25 miles away, making this the perfect home base for exploring some of the area’s best destinations.

In the summer, wander down the private road for a refreshing dip or peaceful moment along the White or Tweed Rivers—ideal for fishing, tubing, kayaking, or simply unwinding by the water. Hiking and biking trails wind through the surrounding wilderness, and nearby golf courses offer even more ways to enjoy the warm sunshine. Guests also have access to the community recreation area, nestled between the two rivers and featuring two tennis courts.

Set along Scenic Route 100 and bordering the Green Mountain National Forest, MapleDreams offers the classic Vermont retreat: hardwood floors throughout, a soaring cathedral ceiling, and a stunning natural fieldstone fireplace that anchors the cozy living room. After a day on the slopes or exploring the trails, sink into the outdoor 7-person hot tub beneath the stars. In the warmer months, gather on the patio for fireside evenings—roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and savoring the mountain air.

With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, this spacious home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. If you’re working remotely, the loft’s dedicated workspace provides the privacy and focus you need—paired with high-speed wireless internet to keep you fully connected.

Please note that our wooded hillside setting includes steep roads; all-wheel-drive is strongly recommended, especially in winter.

For added peace of mind, exterior security cameras are installed on the property.

Pleasant Spring Ski trip with my family

This is the second or third time I’ve stayed at Maple Dreams. I used to come up with college friends for a weekend ski trip. This was the first time with my young family. My family really enjoyed the bunk beds and layout of the house. Honestly the only concern was the water in the hot tub was old.

Snowy Ski Getaway

Geoff provided a wonderful cozy and spacious home for nine adults on a ski weekend! He went above and beyond to make us comfortable, and I will definitely be staying again when back in VT. About 20 minutes from Killington, but definitely remember the 4WD if there’s snow.

MLK Yearly Trip

The property was as described and listed no suprised which was great. Definitely follow the warnings of 4 x 4 to avoid any issues as we saw a few cars from the neighbors get stuck. The house itself was extremely clean and well kept all beds were very comfortable and minus the fireplace and stairs we felt very comfortable having a toddler in the home with no issues. Kitchen was great to cook in and feed a large hungry family. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and would highly recommend renting from. Thank you for a great weekend

Great house with lots of nice details

Highly recommend! Recently we have experienced a few rental houses that did not meet the description, but this house was better than we expected! It was cozy and fit everyone in our group comfortably. The hot tub was a huge plus after a long day skiing. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked with everything you’d need. Definitely need four wheel drive though and be comfortable driving in the snow. Overall great house, thanks so much to our hosts!

Recycling

Although the property was beautiful the trip to and from was always very nerve racking. Also in the entire time there only two animals were seen. Lastly i wish i had known more about the lack of stores easily reached. Most places closed at 5pm. And alot of places were not open durring the week. Lastly the recycling was very confusing. I never new what bin to put what in. Most of this is completely out of the hands of the host who did do their best to help with all of these problems. Even leaving a nice book with local information and guides.

The house was everything we needed for a great ski weekend. It was very clean and what we needed. We did end up leaving early as a ski accident left our friend with two broken bones….on the first run of our ski weekend. Oh well—the house was great.

Perfect for us!

Geoff's place was perfect for our family ski trip to Killington. Nice, peaceful, secluded location; we had everything we needed. The day we drove up it rained the whole way. The next morning the water came down the hill in little waterfalls and the sound was wonderful! Communication with Geoff was excellent.

VT Ski weekend

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Maple Dreams. The house perfectly fit our three adult sibling couples and 3 teens (love a bunk room!). The living/ dining/ kitchen area was really comfortable for our pre-ski breakfasts and family dinners at night. The host was quick to respond with answers and provided lots of helpful information about the property. The house was an easy 25 minute drive to Killington. We would definitely recommend this rental!

Great place for a ski weekend

We stayed here with a group of friends who do a yearly ski trip. This was our favorite place we've stayed in. The house is really nice and cozy, in a convenient location for getting to Killington. It was great to have a hot tub to use after a long day. We have a big group and this place comfortably fit all of us and didn't feel overly crowded. The check in/out process was simple and Geoff always got back to me when I had a question. Would definitely stay here again.

Ski Gathering of Friends

Geoff was very responsive, check-in instructions were clear, and house was excellent. We really enjoyed the large living room where we could gather, share stories, and catch up with each other. This is mentioned in other reviews, but the local road/drive is indeed quite steep, however both days a plow came through to clear out any deep snow. The location is quite good, with about a 20-30 minute drive from Killington, and a small town nearby.

Amazing experience!

This home was the perfect rental for a large group of friends. The house was clean, cozy and slept everybody comfortably. We especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub which was the perfect apres ski activity. The advisory about having 4WD is no joke. If there is any snowfall leading up to your stay you will have trouble getting up the driveway without 4WD or snow tires, as it is steep and narrow. Overall amazing experience and would stay here again 10/10 times for skiing in the Killington area!

Cousin Ski Weekend

If you are looking for a peaceful house in the beautiful Vermont woods, you have come to the right place. Maple Dreams was the perfect place for our cousin getaway. Excellent location 20 min from Killington and a short drive from the cutest little country stores. With 8 adults in the house we never felt cramped with the open floor plan on the main level. The house was clean and welcoming and the fire place was for sure a wonderful touch. It was a beautiful place to wake up to a foot of snow! After the slopes, enjoy the private hot tub. It was for sure an added bonus. Geoff was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommend this property, we would absolutely stay here again! P.S. 4 wheel drive is a MUST if you stay in the winter

Great cabin for skiing trip

Family Killington Trip

We rented this house for my family of four plus grandparents for a long weekend. The house was well stocked, comfortable and had plenty of space. We especially loved the big cozy couch, fireplace and hot tub. Geoff was quick to respond to inquiries and provide restaurant recommendations.
