NEWLY renovated, family friendly,immaculate cozy cottage, is steps away from the beach! Located in desirable Easton's Point between First & Second beaches, minutes to downtown Newport, Cliff Walk, historic mansions, Newport Vineyards, Nature Preserve & more!

We are taking COVID cleanliness protocols to ensure guests are protected and comfortable. Fresh air measures, deep cleaning & sanitizing service upon every check out.

Our Clean updated cottage has refinished hardwood floors, open living/kitchen area, stainless steel appliances, AC/ heat, large front porch, outdoor furniture, spacious side yard, bbq grill, outdoor shower, and 2 parking spots on site. Great for a Newport stay!

Note: We have a SECURITY CAMERA on property with audio disabled. It is facing the front door and it can be turned off upon renter request.

An added bonus to this super-cute cottage is its LOCATION!! All the major Newport attractions are usually only 10-20 minutes away max. Craig and Suzette are awesome owners of the cottage, very helpful and friendly—and accessible! You will absolutely love Newport and this lovely cottage!

This cottage is adorable and well-appointed. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance to First beach and some great family-friendly restaurants. My favorite part was the outdoor space. The only downside is that it was a little tight on space. The shower is tiny and noise travelled within the unit. Also the washer/ dryer took a long time to complete a cycle (3-5 hours) but we made use of the drying rack and were happy to have the option.

This small cottage packs a big punch. Its great in all regards, very clean, great location, ample parking, and just fun to be in. We had a wonderful time. HIGHLY recommend!

Wonderful location, wonderful stay

Caveat - a few breakable decorations present that had to be moved for <2 y.o. children; in general, house was not super infant-friendly... but if you have young kids, you're probably used to this everywhere you stay ;)

Wonderful Experience!

Owners are professional, friendly, and pleasant, The cottage is pristine clean and comfortable, lovely decor, modern conveniences, nice yard and seating for BBQ, outdoor shower (indoor shower is nice, too!) beach toys, large porch for relaxing while watching the sunrise, Quiet neighborhood, close to beaches and restaurants in Middletown and Newport, the Cliff Walk, grocery stores. Easy parking. Looking forward to next visit!

Small but clean

Was nice, quite small on rainy days. Furniture was sun comfortable . We also always look for an outdoor shower, this property did say there was one, but it was just a showerhead on the back of the house,which was disappointing. Indoor shower was very small and hard to navigate

As for the outside, we do have an outdoor shower, however it does not have a door for additional privacy, but is behind the side of the house in a semi-private area. We will be adding a door for future renters based on your feedback.

Charming Family Getaway in Newport

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the lovely cottage in Newport with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The cottage itself was a true gem. The location of the cottage couldn't have been better, just a very short walk to the beach. We were impressed by the cleanliness and well-maintained condition of the cottage. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations, ensuring our stay was comfortable and convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals together, and the cozy bedrooms provided a restful night's sleep. A perfect place for our small family.

Great location on a totally redone beach cottage!

The cottage has been totally redone. All the rooms are clean and fresh as well as the furniture. The cottage has a lot of windows and the front porch is great. We enjoyed many morning coffees out there while reading a book. The grounds are beautiful and the cottage feels secluded as is one of the last ones in the complex away from the street. The linens and towels are of great quality and they look new. The living room/eating area/kitchen has all new furniture. The décor is very beachy and really nice. The TV is a smart one so it's super easy to either cast by mirroring your phone or use the apps. The bedrooms are both comfortable. The bathroom is really nice too. We were a party of 4 (2 kids) and we had a couple of rainy days and it was a good size cottage for us to be inside without felling on top of each other. The check-in/check-out process was really good as well as the communication with the owner. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Cute but cramped cottage for anyone other than a couple people

The cottage was cute and cozy but I wouldn’t recommend for more than a one or two night stay, and only for 3-4 persons. The location is great and easily drivable to town. The neighbors were friendly and quiet, and the decor was charming. The pictures are a little misleading as to the space and quality of the cabin for the price you’re paying. The beds are really thin and on roll-a-way frames that didn’t lock all the way causing our bed to randomly start rolling across the room in the middle of the night whenever we turned over. The bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. It’s so small you have to sit on the toilet sideways and you can’t open the shower door all the way as it hits the toilet seat. Especially if you’re a plus sized person or taller than 6’, you will not be able to use this bathroom. The couch was hard as a rock and not comfortable or cozy either. We didn’t try to cook or eat inside the kitchen, but I wouldn’t recommend due to the size as well. We also found it odd just how many rules and ordinances there were literally posted everywhere. The owners even put sticky notes glued to the walls, windows, trash cans, appliances, and tables reminding you of the rules found in their 100+ page binder. They also only left us 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for a 5 day stay so we had to go buy our own along with trash bags. There is a washer and dryer in one but no washing detergent. Overall, this was fine for a night or two but we were well ready to leave after our second night and unfortunately had three more days to go in a very small cramped moist space. The bathroom really was the root of the problem and we never felt clean.

Philip, We are so thankful for your honest constructive feedback. We’re sorry your group didn’t feel the comfort we strive to provide, especially since we just got new mattresses. Some clarity on why we have rules listed for renters is because Middletown & our condo complex has very strictly enforced rules. We try to make those as visible as possible for guests, to prevent incurring any fines from the condo complex or the town. We do mention in our welcome email most things that are provided, and what guests should anticipate bringing. Hopefully the binder not only provided a recap of the rules, but our favorite local recommendations along with guides on how to use the electronics/ appliances in the cottage. Since this is the first time we’ve heard anything like this before, we will be sure to address the concerns you raised.

Relaxing

We had a great time. The cottage was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. We arrived early in a horrible rain storm and the hosts were able to give us early access! We definitely recommend this cottage.

Just breathe in the sea air...

Our family had such a relaxing week here. It was the perfect base for the local beaches, Newport and Middletown. Thanks to Suzette and Craig for responsiveness and clear communication the whole time. We are still talking about when we go back....

Hi! We're Craig & Suzette - native New Yorkers (from the suburbs of NYC) who have been married for over 8 years. We also have a love of traveling and exploring new destinations around the world when we can.

What Makes this cottage unique…
Our cozy vacation rental is under a 5 min walk or bike ride to the beach, and under 10min drive or Uber to downtown Newport. You can also bike or drive/ride to everything there is to see in and around Newport including First, Second & Third Beaches, restaurants, local seafood, fishing, hiking/walking paths, and more! Our spacious side yard allows for grilling, relaxing, a quick rinse in the outdoor shower, or a dining at home al fresco. The front porch offers multiple seating options for relaxing outside, enjoying a good book, a morning coffee, or unwinding with a glass of wine at sunset.
