The cottage overlooks Lake Blackshear where it is joined with the beautiful Flint River. Come RELAX on the lake. Enjoy the best fishing around! View all the fun in the sun of Skier’s Cove directly from the dock. Observe the beautiful colors of the sunset sky all while enjoying your favorite beverages from the dock or sunrooms inside the cottage! Please note there are no pets allowed and no smoking allowed.
This cottage features 3 Bedrooms, daybed, and 2 bathrooms. -- the perfect accommodations for your getaway! This upscale cabin features all the comforts of home and more! No need to "rough it" when you're at the lake! Enjoy a private King bedroom, a bedroom with a two full size bunk beds as well as an area with a day bed for additional guest. Rental Agreement and Policies: Guest is responsible for reading and reviewing the Rental Agreement. Booking this property will be considered acknowledgement and acceptance of the rules and regulations outlined in the Rental Agreement. Please be aware there are security cameras on the exterior of the home only recording audio and video. No pets are allowed in the cabin at any time. No smoking is permitted in the cabin or on the decks.

Will there be plates, utensils, pots & pans, etc. in the cottage?
Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of plates, cups, mugs, utensils, and pots and pans for your convenience. There are also trash bags provided for the kitchen, dish washer packs, dish soap and 1 roll of paper towels. We apologize that per health department rules we cannot provide spices, cooking oil or other condiments.
Are there appliances and a coffee maker?
Yes, the kitchen features a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove and oven. There is also a Keurig machine and a coffee pot.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Yes, sheets are provided on every bed. Two sets of towels and wash cloths are provided in each bathroom. Extra blankets and sheets can be found in containers. Sun towels are in the bench on the back porch.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed in the cabin at any time.
Are toilet paper and other toiletries provided?
2 courtesy rolls of toilet paper are provided per bathroom as well as bars of hand soap. Other toiletries are not provided.
Are there TVs
Yes, there are two TVs. One in the upstairs main living area and one in the downstairs Dinning/Kitchen area.
Does the cabin have any games or activities?
The cabin features games in a storage area in cabinet under the TV in upstairs living room
What are the roads like to get to the cabin?
It is very easy to get to the cabin as the roads are wide and paved.
Is the cottage close to nearby attractions?
Yes! The cottage is near the popular Veteran’s Memorial Park. The cottage is also just a short drive (30 minutes) from Americus, Georgia.
Is smoking permitted?
No smoking is allowed inside the cottage or on its decks.
