Slaughter Beach is a gem of a town that is peaceful and quiet, nature abounds with ospreys, eagles, shore birds, and a walk along the dog friendly beach is sure to provide some treasures to find. The beach almost feels exclusive, few passers by who like you are making the most of the salt air and beautiful scenery.
Sunsets on the westward facing decks are unimpeded and spectacular. Relax on the porch swing with someone you love with plenty of room for others situated in their Adirondack chairs simply enjoying what matters most. In the evenings you can take in the stars. With very low light pollution the stars can be unreal some nights, sit in the hot tub with the people of your choice and soak it all in.
Slaughter Beach provides the balance and peace a real vacation requires, only a short drive into the hub-bub but perfectly removed. Close by Rehoboth and Lewes beaches can be great for an evening out or a trip to the boardwalk with family. The town provides access to tennis, basketball, pavilion, boat launch, and DuPont Nature Center. Take a family bike ride down Bay Ave or a active jog with few cars passing you by.
The home has 5 bedrooms total and 4 full bathrooms. Two King Master Bedrooms, a Queen, dual twins in bedroom four and a bunk bed in the 5th. bedroom. The loft has a twin bed and serves as a 6th bedroom and there are two queen sleeper sofas in the main living area. Ample living space with over 3800 square feet in an open concept, 4 decks and a screened in porch.
While on vacation, still experience all the comforts of home with four 42-inch flat screen TVs with streaming services, wireless high-speed Internet service and a office area! Dine out or enjoy a night in with everything you need to cook a family meal in the full kitchen and propane grill on the deck. You're able to pack light as we have a washer and dryer available in the house for your convenience
We also have a sun umbrella, beach chairs, sand shovels and buckets, boogie boards, and beach bikes. Bringing multiple cars? No problem. We have off Road parking for 5 to 6 cars
The home has an elevator 31” openings with the 3rd. floor having 36” door openings and shower with grab bars (please note this is a step in shower and not roll in)
Sheets and towels are not included in the rental.
We are pet friendly, the beach out front is also dog friendly year round but pet’s are required to be on a leash at “all times”
