We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful inside- very large and great common area to hang out, eat, and enjoy. The balcony is great- I was surprised to have a bit of a beach view. The back gate from the pool patio made beach access super easy! And the agent that helped us, Natasja, went far above expectations to be helpful to us before, during, and after our stay! Our family really enjoyed our stay at this home in NSB. The pool was perfect for our two young granddaughters and the beach was just a short walk outside the back gate. We enjoyed lots of family meals in the large kitchen in between breaks from the sunshine.

Family Reunion at NSB

We met as a family, coming from California, Tennessee and North Carolina. This group grew up summering together in NSB, but hadn't done so in 15 years. This house provided the perfect place to gather together, reminisce on the past, and make new memories together. Everyone enjoyed the privacy of their own room, but ample space to all gather together on the many porches, shared space, great pool, and easy access to the beach.

Great place to stay with Multiple Families!

We traveled with another Family and stayed here! We were greeted by Natasi, she showed us around the house. The house was clean, and had everything we needed for the week! It was so spacious and everyone was very comfortable! The beach was a very close walk from the house and the views were spectacular! Very close drive to downtown! The only down side was pool. It was not heated and small. Not a ton of outdoor space, but we made do! We would recommend this house to anyone coming to New Symrna!

Fabulous Family property

The three-story house is located in a quiet beach town. The beach is accessed by going out a gate, walking around a corner, and over a cute bridge. The beach goes for miles and is perfect for running, walking, and driving (do what the locals do). The house has everything a family could need. Several decks, fire pit, lap pool, arcade room, TVs in the bedrooms, great beds, large gathering space, two laundry rooms, large table and island in the kitchen, two ovens, fully stocked kitchen... The property manager, Natasja, was always on call and quick with a reply when we needed her help.

Amazing Family House!!

We Loved Barefoot Bliss!! So close to the Beautiful Beach; out the back gate, around the corner and over the bridge. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises. Our family was 3 generations; 12 total. The house was clean and lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice pots, pans, kitchen utensils, etc. The kitchen island is huge and worked so good for our 6 grandkids.Comfortable beds. The host, Natasja, was great, communicated well and responded right away. She met us at checkin and walked us through the house; which was nice! Highly recommend this property.

Horrible owners

Beautiful home, poor owners. The property management company was very responsive and helpful….however the owners of the property were absolutely not. The AC was not functioning properly. It was 78 deg the first night and 82 deg the second night then back to 78 deg. On the third night. I made the property management company aware of the situation on the second evening due of the severe fluctuations in the temperature. I thought maybe the first day was due to us cooking and the oven holding heat in the home. But I was wrong. The AC was repaired four days into our trip. The home is not equipped to be without air-conditioning. There were only two fans out of the 9 rooms. On the second night in the middle of the night we found one of the babies lying on the landing in the middle of the night without a shirt on. When we awoke her she told her that was the coolest spot in the house and she was hot. My husband along with my good friends husband spent over two hours at Walmart and target looking for large fans to place in the rooms. We bought 4 of them. I live in Florida and understand preparing a home for hurricanes, electrical outages and of course no AC. This home at the end of July in 95 degree heat was not at all prepared for not having AC. The pool was extremely dirty as soon as we arrived. When the pool man came on the day prior to us leaving, he told us he had to shock the pool due to the amount of dirt and not for us to get in it for 12 hours. Due to being miserable for the first three nights I requested some kind of reimbursement or compensation….I was told that IF we rebooked next year we would get a free night??!! I would not rebook here ever again It’s a shame because I live in Florida and I to own rental property…. If anything like this would have ever happened I would ensure that my guests left happy despite the experience. It would just be the right thing to do. It is unfortunate that these owners give this property management company a bad name.

Post Wedding Bliss with Family

This property exceeded our expectations. We were a little worried because the property is one road back from the beach and on the main ATLANTIC AVE, but this turned out not to be an issue, as the main social floor is on the 3rd floor with nice ocean views, and we never heard any the street noise. The property is really well located, being a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, and just over a mile to downtown Flagler ave. There are also some good restaurants around, the NSB Baker's Table, being our favorite (walkable, 1/2 mile away). This area of the beach is also less crowded, which was a blessing as it was Spring Break. The home itself is a spacious 3-story home, that is well laid out, and easily accommodated our extended family. The property is well appointed, comfortable. Our only gripes were the outdoor grill and the absence of gear & toys for the beach. The property manager was excellent, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. Overall, we had great "family" time, and the weather was fantastic! We would definetly recommend this property for a larger family.

This house was amazing! We came down for speedweeks with the race team, the house is beautiful and laid out perfectly for separate families to have their own space. There are even sand & water toys for the kids. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk from the house! We had a minor hiccup with the air conditioner, it was user error and they had somebody at the house within an hour to get it fixed (nobody read through the binder until I got there several days later which clearly states how to use it properly to keep it from failing). The property manager is super responsive and really easy to work with. The house is beautiful and in the perfect location!

Best house ever!

Every year my family (husband, son and his family and daughter and her family) have a beach vacation together. Barefoot Bliss was the best house we’ve ever rented. The house, the pool, the location, and the ocean view made it a week to remember. And Natasja was wonderful to work with!

Barefoot Bliss is a beacon with beautiful ocean view balconies. From 3 stories up guests can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, search for dolphins surfacing in the shoreline, and spectate the sailboats on the horizon. You can even see the NASA rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center from here!

Open the windows or step out on the spacious balconies to feel the sun on your face, the salty breeze, listen to the gulls coo to the tempo of the water lapping the shore, fully immersing your senses in the serenity that is New Smyrna Beach. With the best views at the top, the elevator enables easy access for all- to every level of this holiday hangout. This home also features a whole-house generator that automatically kicks on if one of Florida's infamous afternoon showers rolls through and tries to take the power out! The lights stay on and the festivities don't stop for anything here at Barefoot Bliss. The calm after the swift summer storms is the ideal time to light the fire pit up and enjoy a beverage by the pool. A private salt water lap pool is fenced in the facility for those days where the wind or ocean water is less agreeable. It is a great way to let the kids swim without a worry about waves or a run in with sea life. A dip in the pool at Barefoot Bliss is a great way to get some laps in and exercise or simply to cool off on a hot summers day, just a few paces from a fresh-water shower. Please note this is not a heated pool.

After a long day in the salt water everyone can take a long rejuvenating rinse, thanks to the tankless water heater - hot water never runs out at Barefoot Bliss. This home was designed for big families with good friends and great company. Because of this, Barefoot Bliss accommodates up to 4 vehicles so there's plenty of parking for everyone. In fact, a portion of this parking available is fenced-in as an amenity to accommodate trailer or boat parking as well! Here at Barefoot Bliss, space & luxury are abundant to all.
