Warum in derselben alten Hütte oder Wohnung übernachten, wenn Sie in unserem wunderschönen, sauberen und einzigartigen A-Frame übernachten können, der von Bäumen umgeben und reich an Wildtieren ist.

Die Lage dieses Hauses ist perfekt für Ihren Urlaub in Estes. Es befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen Ansammlung von wenigen Hütten, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Rocky Mountain National Park oder der YMCA-Liegenschaft entfernt. Die Innenstadt oder die Beaver Meadows-Einfahrt in RMNP erreichen Sie mit dem Auto nach 1,6 km. Sie können auch das sehr beliebte italienische Restaurant Dunraven (das am Highway 66) besuchen.

In diesem sauberen, ruhigen und voll ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbringen Sie einen herrlichen Urlaub in den Rocky Mountains. Wir haben zwei Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und einen Balkon, auf dem Sie den Big Thompson River durch die Bäume hören können. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett. Das Erdgeschoss ist geschmackvoll mit neueren Möbeln eingerichtet und verfügt über ein ausziehbares Queensize- und ein ausziehbares Einzelbett. Im Erdgeschoss können Kinder wunderbar schlafen, während die Erwachsenen im Obergeschoss ruhig schlafen.

Wir haben eine brandneue umgebaute voll ausgestattete Küche mit Gasherd, Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle. Wir haben auch eine neuere Waschmaschine und einen Trockner in voller Größe.

Sie können sich am Holzofen entspannen und ein Buch lesen, DVDs auf dem Fernseher ansehen (wir haben eine große Auswahl an DVDs im Angebot), klassische Atari-Videospiele spielen oder auf der Vorder- oder Rückseite der Veranda sitzen und Elche, Rehe und andere Tiere beobachten. Bären, Füchse, Kojoten, wilde Truthähne, Kaninchen, Kolibris usw., die häufig auf dem Grundstück zu sehen sind.

Wenn Sie wandern möchten, ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie. Sie können in den Rocky Mountain National Park entlang des malerischen, von Felsen übersäten Big Thompson River wandern und sich in etwa 15 Minuten im Moraine Park (erstklassiges Angel- und Elch-Beobachtungsgebiet) aufhalten. Sie können auch entlang des Glacier Creek wandern, um mehr zu angeln und schöne Wege zu finden. Das YMCA hat zahlreiche Strecken, auf denen Mountainbiken erlaubt ist. Country hideaway next to the YMCA

The A-Frame was warm and cozy even though we were there during a really cold time. We enjoyed the use of the washer and dryer prior to heading home so there wasn't so much to catch up on after vacation.

Beautiful and peaceful

The cabin was cozy, even in the negative temperatures. The location was beautiful and quiet, and we were able to go to the RMNP daily to play in the snow and explore. The stairs were a little treacherous and shaky, but that would be my only complaint. Great little A-frame

Vacation with my boys

Clean A-frame cabin. Perfect location for all our adventures from hiking up in RMNP to shopping and eating and fishing in Estes and white water rafting to watching wild life from the cabin. Love this little cabin. Made lots of memories with my family. We will definitely come back. Only two minor corrections need to be made to the cabin: needs new screens on sliders and new window covers on the upstairs master bedroom.. nothing major and again looking forward to booking this cabin again

Good location

We stayed with 2 adults and 2 teens. The property was a great location for us. We visited the national park and it was close to that and the town of Estes. The inside had a good amount of space. It is obvious that it has not been updated in quite a while but is clean. It gave us a good amount of space. Good space in the kitchen to spread out. Hosts were responsive to questions.

Cute House

The house was very cute and convenient for getting to Rocky Mountain National Park. The house had plenty of space for my family of 4 and was very clean. The only part my daughter didn't like was the spiral stair case, it was steep but in the listing so not a surprise.

Everything we needed and great location

This A frame had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. The couches are worn, but everything else was well kept for an older home. It felt clean and comfortable. The spiral stairs are a bit challenging if you are tall and with the younger kids but are sturdy and needed for this space. The owner was very responsive with my questions and very knowledgeable of the area. The location is wonderful and peaceful. I would definitively recommend this space!

Fabulously Perfect Place!

Our family of five absolutely loved this place! We walked to the YMCA and to RMNP from the property. We saw deer within ten feet of us from the front and back decks EVERY day we were there. Please spend some money

I was not comfortable with the fact that just anyone could see straight into the bedroom. Those blinds really need to be replaced. This was our first time flying into a rental and I wasn’t fully packed with all necessities. However, I’ve never needed all that I have Brought with me either. Here we didn’t have one extra trash bag, one dishwasher pod or even one load of laundry detergent that we were supposed to use to wash our towels. Either the owner should spend the money to make it better or the renter should spend their money somewhere else. There was wildlife in the yard on several occasions.

Had a fantastic time. Some small suggestions would be a few things would need to be updated. The screen doors should be replaced and the beds upstairs are very old queen beds. Rocky Mountain Family Time

Loved the A Frame. Wished it had been shared that the driveways into the area are in such poor condition. Feel also that Wi-Fi access should be a standard. Some people need to do work even on vacation, especially in the times we are living in. Besides these things, loved our time there and grateful for the experience. Lots of wildlife sightings too!

Perfect for us!

Had family of three and a mother-in-law. Everyone had their own space which was wonderful. The location is close enough to town getting there is easy, and there are enough businesses south of town, closer to the home, if you want to avoid Estes Park traffic. Easy entrance to the park and trailheads. Lots of wildlife around so keep your eyes out. Awesome classic movies to watch on the DVD player, our 20 year old son watched "One flew over the Cuckoos Nest," it is now one of his all-time favorites. Can't thank the Valescos enough - great at answering questions, and the house it wonderfully decorated and homey, and just what we needed for a week away from the day-to-day grind.

Grateful but let down.

Found this place kinda last minute and for a great price. Overall I think we got what we paid for. Nothing fancy which is fine but the place really needs a deep clean. The upstairs was especially lacking in cleanliness. There were what looked like a few pet stains on the carpets and I assume they were pet stains because it smelled like urine. It was a real turn off and we were glad when our stay was over.

Great stay with some snags

This cute property is in a great location-- close enough to town and Rocky Mountain National Park to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. Check in was wonderfully easy. The kitchen is big enough and well appointed to cook full meals for a family. There were some snags that made our stay more difficult. One screen door was finicky and difficult to operate. The upstairs screen door was completely off and leaning against the wall. This made airflow upstairs challenging, which was important since the unit has no A/C (would have been fine with the cool mountain evenings if there was airflow). There were several blinds missing. We ran out of toilet paper part way through the stay, although the owner was responsive and brought some by. The property also ran out of laundry supplies although I was eventually able to find them in a supplemental storage unit. Overall we enjoyed our time in the mountains and at this unit but some of these small things would have made it better.

Perfect getaway but close enough to hot spots

We stayed three nights and absolutely loved it. The first night there we saw a bobcat roaming around around the neighbor's home, which was so cool. We also had many elk, deer, and rabbits in our yard. There were 3 small snags, but overall, it was a perfect stay. The 3 snags: -The sliding screen doors are very finicky and easily jump off the track, so you have to fumble with it sometimes. -The blinds are also pretty old and will fall off with just the slightest touch. -When we tried watching Netflix on the TV, it ran INCREDIBLY slow (not the internet, but the TV itself). It ended up totally freezing up on us, then after a while, the screen just went black and automatically did a factory reset. We decided not to fumble with it anymore. This wasn't a huge deal for us since we were so busy running around during the day. Overall, this is the perfect little cabin to be close to nature while having the convenience of being a few minutes from RMNP and downtown Estes Park.

Great location, good price

If your primary reason for staying in Estes is to visit RMNP, than it would be hard to find a better location. Because it is situated just to the west of Estes Park, you will not need to fight through the traffic to get to RMNP. It is also very convenient to the Country Market (small grocery store and deli), gas, and restaurants and activities. The cabin does have several close neighbors, and the property itself is quite small. We made friends with a neighbor who welcomed us to walk up his property more on the side of the mountain - you would want to be sure to have permission first. Cowpoke Corral is literally down the road and my daughter and I had a fun one-hour horse back ride there. The house was extremely clean. The upstairs front bedroom has a comfortable queen mattress - firm, which I like. The other queen bed was pretty squishy/springy, which did not bother our 6yo daughter, but may not be right for some. Our 9yo son slept on the pull-out love seat. He was perfectly happy there, but it would not be suitable for most adults. Our children appreciated having games available in the closet. They also enjoyed seeing an elk and several mule dear, in addition to a mama bear and her cubs (don't leave food in your car, and keep your car LOCKED at ALL times - we learned the hard way). The kitchen is equipped with basics (but don't expect condiments, spices, and the like - we did find sugar and oil). The coffee pot is small, so we found that we had to make a few pots every day. The bathroom is spacious, although the shower head was quite low, which posed a challenge for my 6'5'' husband. The bathroom would benefit from a small shelf above the sink - there is nowhere to place toiletries except on the clothes dryer, which is also located in the bathroom. The bathroom would also benefit from towel hooks - it appears there used to be one on the back of the door. As it stands, we had to drape our towels over doors, etc. It would be handy if the owners/property manager would put a telephone book in the house. The spiral staircase was fun for the kids, perfectly manageable for me, less great for the tall husband. Overall, the price for a very expensive area like Estes Park seemed very fair - a good value.

We fell in love with this house the moment we saw it. We have always loved Estes Park, and wanted our own little piece of it to enjoy. We love being able to easily hike into the park. The wildlife in the immediate area is abundant. The balcony off the bedroom is fantastic for sitting outside with a cup of coffee. We have always loved the unique look of an A-Frame. It's like owning a Harley or an Airstream. Why have a home like everyone else!

Walk into the RMNP Morraine Park area. Walk trails to the YMCA, past rushing water. The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern is a great place to go have a beer and sometimes catch live music and is just down the road.
