Winter special! Buy any two nights and get a third night free. Jan 1-April 30. Ask about details. Time to get away! Skyview is truly a dream home sitting 500 feet above the Kickapoo River. Sit on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the views that stretch for miles. Wave at the eagle or big hawk flying by and listen to the sound of coyote's as you close your eyes and drop into a deep sleep. We believe first and foremost in comfort, so the furniture will make you want to sit back and relax for hours. Turn on the bluetooth sound system, light a wood fire or play pool, darts or pacman in the basement game room. Hop on the treadmill or exercise bike if it's rainy outside. Watch storms barrel across the valley as they make their way to you in full view. Catch a trout in the nearby Plum Creek with easy public access and parking. Drive 2 miles to the canoe and kayak access on the Kickapoo river with a nice picnic area, parking and very easy access to the river. Paddle downstream from there for a lazy 2 hours to get to a public pullout point in Wauzeka on the Wisconsin river. All public roads in the area are atv friendly. When you get that cup of coffee or glass of wine in your hand you can ponder how the leaning tree became the leaning tree. If you are an outdoor person you will love Skyview in any weather. If you are an indoor person there is plenty to do inside to keep you happy.
If you truly need to get away from today's hectic world, come visit Skyview. When you drive the last mile along the gravel road you will start to feel the peace and serenity you are searching for. Our home features notty pine in every room, maple floors, granite counters, three fireplaces, a huge deck and a view that is simply breathtaking. In the morning there might be an eagle waiting for you.

Beautiful place, very scenic and quiet

This is a beautiful property and house with incredible views. The house is extremely well equipped and was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider going back in the future.

This is such a beautiful home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately we got rained out of some of the outdoor activities we had planned, so we got alot of use out of the game room! The kitchen is also fully equipped, including some spices and condiments. Its was fun to prepare a great meal in a really wonderful space! We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Amazing views

Our group decided to UTV over to the property and ride some local trails. Beautiful area beautiful home. It’s an amazing place for couples to stay as all of the rooms are private with their own bathrooms. Hoping to stay again soon!

Awesome place

The house was very clean and had ample dishes and cooking supplies. Very quiet and out of the way place. The deck was amazing to sit out and have coffee and enjoy nature. Craig was very easy to get ahold of and great to work with.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are breathtaking. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. Being six ladies, we enjoyed having 3 bathrooms but would love to see a full length mirror added somewhere. Wish we had more time to enjoy the peace and serenity.

Beautiful Views - great kitchen

We thought the property was beautiful. We planned making some fun meals together and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed and more. We originally had six people getting together but last minute two were unable to attend, so the kitchen seating with four stools worked well.

Great getaway off the grid.

It was a terrific home with many options. My husband and I were able to work a few days (great wifi!) while the kids played with the ping pong, pool and arcade games. Great big comfortable beds and decently equipped kitchen. It was quite a trek from another major city so had to plan grocery shopping accordingly. Wonderful time, able to explore the entire area.

Beautiful place with spectacular view!

The house is lovely and well equipped. They even provided extra things like packets of oatmeal and microwave popcorn. Our family especially enjoyed the game room and exercise equipment. We also spent a lot of time on the balcony taking in the amazing views of the river, lush vegetation and mooing cows. The caretakers were also very helpful. We loved every minute of our stay there!

Perfect getaway

Family of 4 with adult children. Everyone had their own room. Very clean well stocked kitchen. Basement with games was entertaining. Watching the clouds roll in we made a time lapse video. So cool!! Check-in and check-out was easy.

A Driftless Dream

Skyview is a home that exudes quality and ownership pride wherever you look! It is truly one of the most complete homes we have ever booked through VRBO, bedding quality, furniture, towels, spice cabinet, glassware, paper products, reading material, music, the view, communication with the owner, the check-in process, etc. Unfortunately we were only able to stay for four nights with my folks coming up for two of the nights, we all wish we could have stayed for several more nights!

Quiet Getaway

This property is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the state. Many roads in the area have gorgeous views. One unique outing included a gal pal lunch at the St. Francis Hermitage Restaurant, Gays Mills (check out their website). Large bedrooms and remote location were a couple of the features our group enjoyed. Kitchen and lr get lots of morning sun, so in air conditioning season, pull the shades at night to help avoid sun heating up rooms too much in a.m.

Nice and Clean

Very nice place. The house is way better then the pics that’s provided. Very clean large place and the view is breathtaking. We relaxed and enjoyed every second of the house. We will book again and bring our family next time. The only thing I will suggest is putting in a hot tub. A hot tub would have made a great stay better. Thank you for having us. Nice location

Nice location and spectacular views, House need updates of porches that are deteriorating. Some deep cleaning and light fixtures that need light bulbs, more plates and other serving dishes with four provided for six people and lack of a dining table with four places at the kitchen bar only. With a house to accomodate six people seating limited for dining.

I will speak to my cleaners and order additional plates etc. As sometimes happens in this business we had place settings for 8 two weeks ago and apparently some went missing. Best Ever

We are a group of high school classmates that go somewhere ever year. With this group and other travel, I have stayed in many, many VRBOs. This was by far the best one I have ever booked. Not only because the house is gorgeous and so well appointed, the beds were wonderful, the layout of the house is perfect for privacy and the view is spectacular. None of us wanted to go home....would have called for another night if it hadn't been booked. Stay here if you can...the pics do not pay it justice.
