Come on up to Lake Tahoe and enjoy a fun filled family vacation at this charming North Lake Tahoe Lakefront cabin. The back yard is a large sandy North Tahoe beach perfect for building a sand castle. When you do spend time indoors, the living room has a lovely view of Tahoe and a fire place will keep you warm when the clear mountain air begins to cool. The bright and sunny kitchen is fully equipped for any family meal and the dining area also has a wonderful view of Lake Tahoe. Pine Cove Cabin also has a sauna, a shared homeowners pier and a buoy for a boat. There are two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. A large sunny deck provides a space for BBQ's, general summer time lounging, and enjoying a typical gorgeous Tahoe Sunset.

Centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, next to Kings Beach, just a few minutes away from all the summer and winter activities - hiking, golf, tennis, and skiing. Northstar Ski Resort is about a 15 minute drive and Squaw and Alpine Ski Resorts are about a 25 minute drive. North Lake Tahoe boasts a number of renowned restaurants and a variety of shops. There are even a few casinos to offer the gamblers in the group.

Pine Cove Cottages is a lakefront cabin complex with 6 units that share a pier and common space. Pine Cove Cabin #1 is one of the two homes that are directly looking out to Lake Tahoe. Please note there is only one parking space allocated for each cabin.

Perfect Get Away

Best Lake Tahoe location - panoramic lake views from living and dining room. We were able to prepare our meals in the nicely equipped kitchen and have the best views while dining either in the dining or living area. The home is so conveniently located to beach, walking trails and shops that we didn't used our vehicle during our entire stay. My suggestion to improving the home is new living room furniture to match the outside beauty.

60th Bday Family Celebration

Love love love the view and deck, doesn't get better than this, right on the water with a beach & dock in front of you! Very convenient location too! We enjoyed the sauna at night looking out at the stars over the water, even in the summer. While the house/cottage is decent it is just in need of a really really good cleaning!! Bedspreads were dirty, throw pillows in living room are disgusting, cabinets and quite a few dishes/pans/silverware were dirty, BBQ grill is corroded thru needs replacing. Just needs more attention to detail. But like I said cannot beat the water front location!!

Cozy and convenient

It's a nice place. Not huge, but enough room for our family of four plus a small dog. Judging by the vintage ads for Pine Cove Cabins on the walls, they've been rental vacation cottages for decades. The location on the beach offered great views and room to walk around. I expect it'd be wonderful to be on the lake in summer; in winter it was convenient to stores, restaurants, and ski resorts. There were a ton of towels, sheets, and pots and pans, which made the very minimal supply of other things (mainly hand soap and toilet paper) all the more befuddling, but that was easy enough to take care of. I contacted the property manager once, to request extra blankets, and they were friendly and very prompt in helping out.

What a marvelous place! It is right on the beach with Safeway close by. You will be 12 minutes to incline village and 12 minutes to NorthStar. Unbeatable. Great host. Highly recommended.
