We are PNW transplants who have been renovating our historic property here in Central Wisconsin since 2017. Our life adventures have taken us to seven countries and all across the United States. We have used AirBnB as a travel companion and as a means to host new friends for years now. We are in our third year of running the Tomorrow River Homestead in the Village of Nelsonville. This village has 155 residents in our beloved community. Our facility is a converted rest home on the Tomorrow River. We are inviting folks of all walks of life to spend some time with us and enjoy our creative space. I am Rue, I usually manage bookings and am available for providing your requested unique experience of the area. I am Freelance Creative Director, artist, educator, and homesteader. My personal art practice involves image and text, fiber, printmaking, video and performance. My passions are great conversation, delicious food and a commitment to becoming low waste. Zay is a solar installer for a cooperative renewable energy company. He also side gigs as a butcher, loves help me with projects and is teaching himself to fly fish in the Tomorrow River running along our property. We look forward to meeting you! Rue and Zay
