Thanks for the review and noting that the property was equipped with everything a family would need. I remember you reporting in about a floor being sticky and you felt it was not clean. We did reach out to you about this and offered our cleaning team to revisit this floor for you but we did not hear back from you and so assumed all ok. It was a shame that the communal pools were shut during your stay. Unusually, Florida did have exceptionally cold weather through your stay and so the communal pool facilities can shut if sufficiently cold. Hopefully next time you visit, the weather will be warmer and you can experience the full hit of facilities at the resort. We look forward to welcoming you back to one of our properties

Regarding access to spare light bulbs, guests are encouraged to call property managers on the numbers provided to have such issues addressed. Regarding the grill, unfortunately on this community, the HOA rules and policies are that no grills are allowed at the property. We look forward to welcoming you in the future

This review is very misleading and not representative of what actually happened. This guest was sent his access codes a week prior to the arrival date on the email address that he provided. At no time in the run up to his arrival date did he contact me to say that he did not have his access codes. Instead he arrived at the property expecting to be able to get in. When he found he could not, he then contacted VRBO who reached out to me. VRBO called and I explained that he had had his access codes on the email that he had requested and perhaps he had overlooked them or they had slipped into his spam. At 9pm on a Sunday night, VRBO called me again to say he did not have the codes and would I mind resending. I did this straight away. The guest accepts himself in writing that he received the codes on the night of arrival but told VRBO that he chose stay in another property now and not proceed to the property as suggested by VRBO. This was unfortunate as he did have the codes and could have accessed the property. The guest then asked for a refund of the first night and due to the fact that he himself accepted that he had the codes on the night of arrival and the homeowner had saved the property for him, the owner was unable to give the guest compensation but offered him instead money off future rental. The guest did not accept this and instead vindictively charged back the entirety of the rental income due to the owner despite having the benefit of staying at the property - this tells you what this is really about sadly. The guest never mentioned anything about creaky beds or bugs whilst in the property despite our literature asking for all guests to call in any issues as we like to address them right away and whilst the guest is in the property so we can resolve any issues.
