This cabin is bright and airy with forest views outside every window! Enjoy the open concept living and kitchen area and retreat to the cozy bedrooms. The front and back deck are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening dinner with family and friends. When you're ready for a hike or mountain bike ride, just head out the back door to hop onto Race Loop trail, about 100 feet from the backyard. This home is walking distance to the Village of Cloudcroft and Cloudcroft Brewery.

We love everything about try his cabin and it's location! The perfect layout for our family of five. Coffee on the huge porch in the morning and all the kitchen essentials so I can cook dinner each night. On this trip we saw wild horses, elk and deer in the backyard!

We are a 4 man group of Christian men who have been traveling to Cloudcroft for an annual golf trip for the past 34 years. This is our third VRBO that we have stayed in and it quickly became our favorite cabin! The layout of beds and showers were perfect and the cabin was VERY CLEAN and Spacious. Plenty of Hot Water and the water pressure was fantastic. Our group highly recommend your group to this Beautiful Getaway Cabin!! (Only challenge was figuring out which light switch went where). No big deal that quickly figured out! Do Not miss out on this Cabin.

Wildlife Paradise. So many different types of birds are in the area as identified by our Merlin app. Deer and horses were present while we were there. For those who do the trails, there's one just feet from the back of the house. For those who don't want to do the trails, but love to walk, the cabin is in a neighborhood which is very walkable - in fact, you can walk to the town center very easily. There's a disk golf course within in walking distance, too. And, for book readers, the deck is covered, shady and a great place to settle in with a book.

Great house in a nice location walking distance from town. We saw both Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands National Park on this trip plus hiked some of the great trails around Cloudcroft. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds at the feeders in the cool weather. It was a great mountain het away. We recommend Cloudcroft Brewery for pizza and beer and cinnamon rolls from the bakery downtown. Host was very responsive and the house was clean and comfortable.

We had a truly wonderful time at Ian's cabin in Cloudcroft! The place was exactly as described, and the pictures don't do it justice. Everything was there that we could possibly need, it was very clean and so comfortable! The views were beautiful and Ian was a great host, very responsive and considerate. The cabin was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and in a beautiful area. It's close enough to walk to town, and we were able to do a little hike in the woods behind the house as well. There was a washer and dryer for our use which is always appreciated.

The host was very prompt in responding to our inquiries. We were kindly granted permission to host our son's birthday celebration at the property with our local friends and family. The house was amazing. It was very beautiful, and the host was welcoming. We had such a great stay here. The kids had fun with plenty of activities, and the scenery was just so beautiful. This was our second year staying here and we just love it. House is clean, bright, and open. We have three young kids and they just adore the bunk bed room and the backyard exploring and sledding. You really can’t beat the location as a home base for Cloudcroft and Lincoln National Forest, and even White Sands was a short day trip away. Ian is friendly and responsive and we hope to be back next year as well!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The fireplace takes a minute to get started but once you figure it out (with help from the directions on the wall) it’s easy and warms the main area of the cabin. Make sure you take a side trip to Pistachio Land and White Sands.

This is THE BEST Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at! The cabin was beautiful, full of amenities, and you can’t beat having the full forest (with a trail!) right in the backyard. Check-in was super easy and the property manager/owner was quick to respond. Omg, and the bedding and towels were all so fluffy and warm. I would definitely book again!
