The unit is right off the elevator and has great views of the Gulf of America, the courtyard, and the pool. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. The unit was very clean and very well maintained. The property is gated and security staff is so friendly and helpful, and we saw her in action helping a family find a little boy who got lost on the beach. It was an awesome week, and we’ll definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to stay at Silver Dunes. We went with several other families. The location was awesome and perfect for families with older kids. Lots of things for them to walk and do. We actually wound up extending our stay bc we loved it so much. My only complaint is the unit we stayed in needed some updating. The carpet was super old and so was the furniture along with the bedding and the appliances... it was not very clean either.

Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with all needed items. The beds were very comfortable. The patio furniture was dated and not as comfortable and the washer/dryer were small and the dryer vent broken. When checking in the smoke alarm battery was beeping and security responded very quickly with a replacement (thank goodness!) The location to beach was amazing! Some condo's include beach service (or have chairs to use), this one does not and is an added cost. We did pay for the service, and they are very friendly and professional. The pool is small and gets very crowded with young families. The one time we went, the stairs were so slippery I fell and injured my tailbone. Others at the pool said they had the same experience - there should be non-slips on the stairs to prevent injury. The gated community feels very safe and the security lady was very friendly and helpful. The condo is very close to many restaurants, grocery, shopping and harbor. It was also a short drive to the outlet mall on an overcast day. Check in and out was simple. I had to work on a scheduling mistake with the office before our stay and they were very helpful and kind. Our family would stay here again and again - very clean, safe, great location and comfortable accommodations.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice enough for the price. However it needs updating. The carpet, beds, and bedding were all outdated as well as most of the furniture. The outside table and chairs don’t seem to have much life left in them. The lack of ice maker in the freezer was also a pain. We found some ice trays on the last day in a drawer we had missed. It got the job done and we still had a good time.

We are snowbirds from Wisconsin. The property is well cared for and clean. Beautiful view from our room.The only concern we had was our condo was outdated and needs updating.Furniture, appliances, bedding, washer and dryer , blinds. Bathrooms had no counter space for our things. Would really like to see it updated as we are coming next year and would like to stay again. Also this room did not have beach service which would of been nice. Most of the condos have that service. Thanks!

Great Vacation at Silver Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Silver Dunes. The unit was very clean, comfortable and plenty of room for our family. However, the bathrooms could use some additional shelving or something to place bathroom items on for easy access and the doors to the small bathroom open inward, making it tough to maneuver around. Other than this, it’s the perfect place to stay. Beach access was wonderful, partial ocean view from the spacious balcony. I would definitely recommend Silver Dunes and would stay here again.

Annual Silver Dunes Rental since 1985 except for two years

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked B1400 very much except that the master toilet was much too low. It felt like you were falling to the floor.We always enjoy the beach services that George Noble provided.The kitchen had no mixer which we needed to whip cream for a shrimp and scallop entree we prepare. It was a huge surprise to find out that there was no towel service. I hope you found other jobs for Betty and her helper! And no toilet paper...absolutely unbelievable! This is too much skimping by the HOA. El Cheapo!There were no lightweight blankets in the bedrooms...only heavy ones for winter. These should have been on top of the sheets.The unit was clean. We know to take some kitchen utensils such as bottle openers, can openers, etc.We were thankful for the weather the week we were there. It rained only one night for about an hour. We shall look forward to coming again in the future. It's the place we like to be!

Perfect spot in Destin!!

Great property right in the center of all things Destin. Beach is fantastic and very kid friendly! Pool was just big enough for kids to play, but not too big to worry about littles. Condo was just as advertised: clean and well maintained. Washer/Dryer was a life saver. Highly recommend taking advantage of this spot!
