Welcome to the 'Peapod Cabin'. Our cabin comes loaded with everything you'll need for a stay with just your partner, your family or friends. Enjoy lake views from the Porch, Deck, Living Room, Kitchen and downstairs bedroom. Savor a long bubble bath in the jetted tub. Stay cozy reading next to the fireplace. The options are endless for your stay.

**Summer stays must be a full Sun-Sun rental**

In the springtime enjoy views of the birds coming back to the open waters of the lake. We love watching the loons and the eagles in the mornings from our screened in porch. Head on over to Albion Park just down the road for picnics, hiking, or just large open areas for your kids to burn some energy. Grab a local bottle of wine from a nearby winery and sip it by the fireplace with your fresh chocolates from the local candy store.

Ah Summertime. The best time for the lake! We have a beach/swimming area right on our property for you to enjoy. A pontoon is available for rent (Must be 25 years or older) and we have a dock if you'd like to bring your own boat as well. We have water toys, sand toys, a canoe, paddle boards and more for you to enjoy outdoors. Be sure to get your s'more fix in at night around the fire while you listen to the night sounds of the lake.

In the fall, you must get out and enjoy the colors! Take a hike, grab your camera for photos of the trees around the lake, build leaf piles in the yard. There are a few apple orchards nearby that offer both kids and adult activities. Grab some apples and head back to the cabin to bake a homemade pie and sip on a fresh jug of local apple cider.

In the wintertime our cabin includes ice skates in numerous sizes (we can't guarantee we have your size), sleds, a pair of cross country skis and snow toys. Want to try your hand at ice fishing? We have a pop-up ice house available at no extra charge. Want to stay inside and relax during your stay? No problem. We have 6 smartTV's with wifi to catch up on show-binging, a jetted tub to soak in for hours, a fireplace with reading options from baby to grandma and warm & plush throws with plenty of mugs to fill with hot chocolate or coffee.

We stayed with 7 adults and 2 dogs.. filled the place up and had a very enjoyable stay. Loved the sandy beach, grassy area for playing lawn games, firepit area and clear water next to the areator. If you have young kids, there are many toys and games for them to enjoy.

Charming lake and town! It was a relaxing place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. The sunrises were beautiful. There was a great little beach for my toddler and he loved the toys and water. Overall it had everything we needed and was exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful, peaceful lake view was just what we needed. Comfortable, clean home with very helpful, responsive hosts. We enjoyed the firepit area, the rocking chairs on the lower porch, the eagles, seagulls, and geese flying overhead. Large lot size gave distance from neighbors, and we felt like the lake was ours alone. The 3 larger beds were comfortable, and the 2 separate living room areas worked out well for our family. Perfect place for ending Summer and welcoming Fall! Thank you to our hosts!

We loved it! Our 4 teens/young adults thought it was the best place we've had. The little beach was weed free with the bubbler system but the pooping geese were a pain in the butt not that the owner can do much about it. The fishing, even off the dock, was incredible with many keepers even walleye and a 26 inch northern and never ending large mouth bass. We rented the pontoon and had it out at least twice a day, ending with sunset cruises. The lake home was very comfy and the extra mattresses were great. There's a couple of things I'd like to address to the owners but it wouldn't keep me from renting this great place again.

Wonderful, clean and comfortable house with everything that we needed for a girlfriend weekend. We had a very relaxing stay, loved the view and although it was cold outside, we were cozy and warm inside. Our host was quick to respond and made our stay a very memorable one! We were very happy with all the toys and games and activities for the kids to play with that. The room situation was also nice. Beautiful beach and we had good fishing. The downfalls were that there was not much silverware and things there. And the garbage situation was terrible when we got there it was full. And we brought it down on the days we were supposed to, but by the time we left it was also full again. We had two different alarms of sorts go off there. One was the septic which we called and they dealt with. The second I emailed the owner and never heard back so not sure what that was. But overall, we would go again.

The house was amazing. We loved every minute of our time. We also rented the boat and that was also amazing. The house has everything you might need and your own personal little beach. Absolutely amazing. The only downside, which was out of the owners hands, were the geese and their love of the beach. This did not negatively impacted our stay.... just did a little clean up in the morning so my dog wouldn't be tempted with the geese "presents". The lake was beautiful and the private mini beach was so relaxing. I do not like algae and the lake seemed to have a lot of it (which was known shared with us ahead of time) so I did not go deep from the beach but others did not have a problem with it! As an FYI, the owners of the rental put in a bubbler (?) And that definitely helped control/ reduce the algae/ lake grass. We also took little drives to other towns for dinner and to enjoy the area. The ice cream shop in annandale..... or favorite! All in all, it was one of the best and most relaxing vacations we have had. From days on the water to early evenings exploring to nights sitting outside watching the water.....10 out of 10 would recommend!!

The house was lovely and the kitchen was much better stocked with dishes/cookware/etc. than any other rental I've had. It made it very easy for us to prepare our meals and enjoy our vacation. I also really appreciated having a grill available.

Hello! I'm Kati, and welcome to our Peapod Cabin. We've named it after our family of 6 (or 8 if we are counting the animals). Pat & I met when we were 5 years old, dated shortly in the 5th grade :), and reconnected after high school. We got married in 2009. We enjoyed a number of kid-free years together before becoming foster parents and eventually adopting 4 amazing kids in 5 years. Our family means everything to us, which is why we created this space. We all worked on it together, the kids even helped pick out pieces for "their" rooms. This project has given us the chance to learn and grow as a family and we hope you love it here as much as we do!

We chose this property/location because of our love for the area with previous family cabins. Pat's grandma owned a cabin in Annandale that brought our family so many precious memories and when that cabin was passed on we knew we needed to keep the memories alive in one of our favorite places.

One of our favorite things about this cabin is that we can walk right out of the living room and onto the beach. Our kids LOVE sand and water so this is our biggest perk.
