Awesome apartment!

Rincon was great, and the apartment was awesome! Very clean, very organized, furniture is all new or in great shape. Plenty of room in the apartment for 6 people and the balcony is huge! The apartment is in a great location for restaurants, and very close to the beaches in Rincon. Highly recommended! Thanks James!

Perfect and Exactly as described

We had the perfect view, the perfect breeze, the perfect rooms, the perfect hamacas, the perfect kitchen, the perfect floor (my mother has back and knee problems and she was happy), the perfect weekend, the Lazy Parrot = best pizza, the best sushi at The Pool Bar, the perfect town, the perfect apartment decoration, and the best touch was being able to write about our experience in the Bambu books on the coffee table and being able to read others experiences at the Perfect place in Rincón. Thank you. We will be back soon!

Great stay. Great location

This was an ideal location for my family of four. Property is really clean and very comfortable. We generally vacation at a pretty hard pace and we really liked having the windward balcony and pool as a place to regroup in evening. Between the cafe, surf shop and restaurants within a short walk I found a very welcoming community that helped me learn about the best places to snorkel, dive and surf; folks I met seemed to very willingly point me to hidden places I would not have found on my own. Rincon was a my favorite area with many hidden gems to explore and was also a great base to explore the whole coast from Isabella (even more surfing) to La Parguera (rented a boat and found some great coral areas). James was an attentive owner. He kept me informed through the whole rental and kept in contact during our trip; he also has a good network around the area that helped meet our needs as the trip evolved. I certainly give the property, the owner and location my best recommendation.

Great Apartment, Excellent Location, Friendly and very responsive Landlord

My wife and I stayed for six weeks (15 Feb to 28 Mar 2016). The unit is spacious (1,200 sq feet +) and very comfortable, Kitchen is well equipped, beds in both bedrooms are comfortable, it has a dining table for 4 not shown in the photos and a wrap around porch. Being on top of a hill, cool breezes flow through apartment making it very comfortable. We used the A/C in the bedroom sparingly. The place is perfect for an extended stay. Internet was outstanding. We were able to stream Netflix and Comcast on demand directly from our laptop to the flat screen TV in the unit (we had our own cable to connect the computer to the HDMI input on the condo's TV). This was a big plus for an extended stay. Directly across the street there is a coffee shop that has good coffee and snacks as well as a computer printer one can use for 10 cents a page. There is also a small hotel (The Lazy Parrot) that has a good full service restaurant. Adjacent to the hotel's pool there is a pizzeria (La Familia) that has an imported Italian clay pizza oven that makes outstanding Pizza that will please any New Yorker. We had lunch and late night pizzas a bunch of times. Both the restaurant and the Pizzeria are reasonably priced. You will need a car to get around town. Finely, James was an excellent landlord who responded immediately and adequately to any question or request.

Spacious and breezy apartment in great location

This is a very comfortable two bedroom apartment close to all the best restaurants and beaches Rincon has to offer. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and the kitchen is very nice. We only stayed one night , but this is definitely a great spot to come for more time, as you will have everything you need to cook and have a comfortable stay. The balcony is really fantastic, with a great breeze and nice views. Perfect for throwing back a few drinks and just relaxing. I have stayed in Rincon a few times and this is hands down one of the nicest properties I have stayed in the town. A lot of other apartments in the area are outdated and some of the hotels can be overpriced for what they offer. James is also great, and we really appreciated his patience as we worked through some scheduling issues. We will certainly want to be back!

Termite wings infestation/ unannounced cleaning fee/broken shower/post stay harrassment

When we arrived at the property it was infested with termite wings. Had to sweep floors including cleaning a shower. Owner texted the day after that he had forgot to mention a cleaning fee(sour joke considering I had to clean myself). Master bedroom shower did not function and owner thought we would interrupt our vacation to accommodate the fixing of this issue. A week and a half later still receiving harrassing messages from owner threatening to take money out of the card which happens to be a fraudulent transaction. Not happy with this arrangement. I would keep looking further for a better accommodation

Best vacation we consider home

I'm not the kind of person to write a review, but this rental was beyond what we expected- first everything is spotless, two spacious bathrooms, great a/c, two amazing hammocks- I bought one, it was so amazing, 40 bucks on the side of the highway, a breathtaking view looking down a very green hill- then bam blue sky and gorgeous water that follows, great sized kitchen, 2 min drive/15 min walk to Marias, gated parking lot, pool and lastly across the street from BDang- free wifi and amazing cafe ole. Overall the place has everything you need, and it's our home away from home so, if you choose to rent this beautiful space for the weekend please take care of it like it is your own, because we expect to find it the same way.

Pros w/minor Cons

Pros - Beautiful apartment, very clean, spacious, lots of games & entertainment, balcony hammocks were great, apt. remained cool (even w no AC in living room) & best of all - 2 bathrooms! Convenient stackable washer/dryer. Very comfortable for 5-6 people. Close to beach, across the street from BD Cafe (cool coffee shop). Quiet neighborhood. Owner James was very attentive. Cons - shower pressure was low. Gate remotes not working, had to park in empty lot next door (not so bad). Ants like kitchen (must keep counter tops clean, crumb free to avoid them). We would return & recommend. Thanks!!

You are welcome return anytime and by the way the gate has been repaired as well as ants exterminated they came because other renters are careless and leave crumbs on countertops during their stay but no worries we took care of it!

Very Nice!

The apartment is very clean and comfortable! It's located near the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants. Unfortunately we encounter issues with the water heater and water pressure during our stay. Also during our stay, the gate opener was not working making it a bit difficult to find good parking and also to unload and load the car. Despite these inconveniences, we enjoyed the apartment and would recommend to anyone.

Great Spot!

Had a great time here! The apartment was very clean and had a huge wrap around deck that was very nice with the trade winds. Great location that is very quiet and close to some great breakfast and pizza (across the street) James, the owner, was great and very helpful with our trip. Exquisite Poinciana

The condo is easy to find on Route 413 and having your own parking spot waiting is a real treat. The owner was very attentive and answered all of our questions and even had great recommendations for day trips withteh kids. The condo itself was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and comfortable. I had my wife and two small children with me and they loved it. My wife does not surf and was impressed with the Banana Dang coffee shop and the local bakery just steps across the street. Having the gated entrance made my wife very comforatble. Best place in Rincon!

We recently spent 12 days at the Poinciana Condominium in Rincon, Puerto Rico. I highly recommend this vacation Condo to any persons and/or family who would like to enjoy a beautiful beach vacation. We love it. It is such a wonderful experience in renting a vacation in a home like environment. It filled all of our needs. The Condo was very clean and well supplied down to every detail. We were only a short distance from the beach. The Condo itself was furnished with love and care from the owners. It had everything you needed to feel at home. This is a place you can feel relaxed, safe, and well cared for. It is securely gated & the grounds were beautiful. If you are looking for a vacation away from the city and near the beach, please consider the Poinciana Condominium in Rincon, Puerto Rico. You will NOT be disappointed.

Perfect place for anybody!

I just returned home from this perfect piece of paradise. I'm a 22 year old guy who is a full time student and I chose this place because of the affordability... MAN was I impressed! I took my girl friend and another couple down with me for a week. I must say I was surprised at the cleanliness and functionality of this condo. Tile floors, tile showers, tile balcony with a 90 degree wraparound that overlooks nature and the ocean. New and fully functional kitchen, AC ect. Another great thing to keep in mind about this place is location. Its super quiet, no crazy clubs or bars at 2 am keeping you awake and low traffic volume. At the same time there is the best coffee shop in Rincon and free wifi is right across the street (Banana Dang). Also across the street is a convenience store that has just about everything (how convenient). The lazy parrot is also a great bar\pizza place with pool and hot tub access for the day if u make one purchase, ALSO right across the street. Everything you need is in walking distance in this quiet little area of Rincon. Oh, did i mention its a 2-5 minute drive from every beach\surf in the area as well! Lastly, the pool... Surrounded by palms with birds and nature in action. Outdoor showers with bathrooms, tables and chairs in the shade for an outdoor lunch if desired. and CLEAN! I stayed in Rincon quite a lot because Im an avid surfer. This was by far my favorite place because of everything I talked about above. I honestly think it goes further than that too. For non surfers like my girlfriend, the hammock on the balcony was the perfect place to curl up with a book and some coffee. The pool, restaurants and nature in the area can make a vacation it self! I will continue to stay at this condo every time i go back to Rincon, unless a room becomes available for purchase... then I'm buying! It truly is the perfect spot! P.S. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Any questions about the place or the area was easily answered by a phone call to one of them. Enjoy your stay!

Very Peaceful

I had an awesome time at Rincon. The condo was super clean and the balcony had a spectacular view of the ocean and the mountains. It's close to beaches, restaurants and shopping centers. I just wish I had stayed a few more days, next time for sure!

nice place for two couples or small family, very comfortable and good location to take in rincon and all the surrounding beaches.road side food in p.r. is awesome and affordable don't hesitate to try it.the locals are very friendly and many of our conversations started in spanish but turned into english.i've been to p.r. many times and this place was one if not the best we stayed at.turned the air conditioner on once and froze with the balconey door open very nice breeze flow in for the month of march.we will stay here again for sure.thanks again my friends in rincon for the memories...

This is our third winter staying at the condo. It is a place where you can relax and feel comfortable. It is beautiful and the view is spectacular. It is so nice to wake up and have a cup of coffee on the lanai. You can cross the street and purchase delicious smoothies at BananaDang and have a dinner at the Lazy Parrot. The pool is perfect for kids and adults to swim after a long day at the beach. Everyone is friendly and accomodating! I highly recommend this condo to stay and enjoy Rincon!

If you are a surfer you know(or you should know) how good Rincon can be. They call it the 'Poor Man's Hawaii' for a reason. If not, the place is growing by the second as the word gets out about it's easy access(via Jetblue as well as many other nonstop carriers from the USA)affordability, pristine beaches, secret waterfalls, awe-inspiring caves, many new casinos, rainforests as well as world class golf, tennis,snorkeling, scuba and free diving, deep sea fishing, nightlife, music, dancing, culture, shopping etc,etc.

We have spared no expense in furnishing our condo as it has all new GE stainless steel appliances, Pier One Imports furniture sets, ceiling fans, washer and dryer(in our unit), 2 over-sized GE air conditioners in both bedrooms, computer/printer/internet access, Dish
Network satellite cable, flat screen HDTV, DVD, WIFI, Playstation video game, etc, etc.
