Update: Cozy Cottage is currently under renovation due to devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in 2024. We anticipate a 1/1/26 booking date if all goes smoothly. The pool is operational, but not heated at this time. We will update this section periodically with progress. Please be patient with us as we continue to restore the complex after much storm damage. Welcome to Gulf Gardens' newly renovated Cozy Cottage! A 1-minute walk right across Gulf Blvd to the beach! Take a dip in our large heated/cooled pool or relax and enjoy the sun poolside in one of the many lounge chairs. BBQ grills are available under a shaded cabana with a picnic table for outdoor dining. Slightly less than a mile to John's Pass Village. Airports, Busch Gardens, d/t St. Pete, Tampa nightlife, are all a within a short drive. There is onsite, free parking for guests.
Cozy Cottage is efficiency-sized but comes equipped with a full-sized fridge, microwave, air fryer, portable 2-burner cooktop, toaster, as well as plates, silverware, new pots and pans, and all the basic kitchen necessities. The space is fully furnished and comes with queen bed that has a Nectar mattress. The bath has a full-sized tub/shower. Storage is plentiful. Central heat and air distributes the AC evenly throughout the space. Vaulted ceilings make this cottage feel big! Games and books are available for rainy days. Enjoy our heated and cooled pool - always kept at approx 84 degrees!
Our cottage was recently renovated with new floors, paint, cabinets, vanity, furniture, mattress, kitchen essentials, appliances, blinds, and amenities.
Please note that we have a 2-person maximum including children as there is only one queen bed. If it is discovered more than two persons are staying in the unit, the guest is subject to a fine of $250, and the host/co-host has the right to cancel the reservation with no refund given. Please note that we have a Ring camera at the front door for the safety of guests and owners. Please note that this a no smoking/no vaping/no pets condo complex.

I'm a Tampa native, and just finished renovating my c. 1925 Craftsman Bungalow that I have owned since 1995 in Hyde Park, S. Tampa. During this time I lived in my detached 2br/1ba garage apartment. Now I'm back in my house and it's time to share the cottage with travelers! I have hosted several folks from around the world in my home via Couchsurfing, so I'm familiar with the hosting concept. I frequently use this online community as well as Airbnb to stay with locals when I travel the world. "See the world" and "collect experiences over things" are my mottos! October 2020 update: I just purchased an efficiency condo on Madeira Beach and I'm excited to offer it on Airbnb. It's super convenient to the beach being right across the street!
