You and your wife are alway very friendly to give me tips for boating, golf and the house. You wrote me such a nice mail and the tips in it, I copied in my answer! Hope this was fine::::::: Erika and Henry (owners) John wrote some tips in his mail: As for the boat, I rented a space at the Siesta Key Marina. The fee is $300 for the month but they launch your boat daily if needed and it is kept on a rack when not in use. They also flush the boat and motor each time it is taken out of the water. Veru convenient. There are also free launching ramps that are available, but we decided to enjoy the convenience while on vacation. As for golf, there are lots of courses to play, however most are private. Serenoa is the closest and is very busy. Mystic Creek is another option but I haven't played it yet. I have heard the University course is excellent, but I haven't played it yet. Bobby Jones is also an Option. Some restraurants you may like to visit.... Barnacle Bills, Marina Jack's, State Street Eating Room and Cocktails (downtown great for lunch) Cafe L'Europe very good! We also found a very good German meat and deli. Hi Jenene, thank you very much for visiting Villa Colleen. From the first day you always have bugs . You first told me they were on the pizza, the next days they were in the kitchen. (Who knows, maybe you brought them in the pizza. We have a professional property management and pest control. These had not discovered anything, as well as all tenants before and after you. The property manager was on site twice and I had always responded immediately. Of course, it always happens that bugs come through doors left open or the garage and by the time you discover them, they are usually half dead. Grundausstattung Getraenke und Kleinigkeiten) begruesst! Noch eine Bemerkung zu deinen Tips: Das Parkplatzproblem Siesta Key besteht nur in den Monaten Ende - Januar bis Mitte April! Ist dort die High Season und entsprechend viel los. Natuerlich auch in den Lokalen und Geschaeften! In der uebrigen Jahreszeit besteht dieses Problem nicht! Straende um unser Haus herum gibt es natuerlich genuegend. Suedlicher nach Casey Key, Nokomis Beach und Venice Beach! Diese Tips zu Straenden, Ausflugen, Restaurants und vielem mehr finden sich alle in unserem deutschsprachigem Reisefuehrer (von Gaby Charity) in der Ferien Villa! Das Haus ist zentral gelegen und bietet alles, was man in Sarasota machen möchte. Ein Publix Lebensmittelladen, ein Target, ein CVS, ein Kohls und eine Subway sind weniger als eine Meile vom Haus entfernt. Das Haus hat einen solarbeheizten Pool und die Wassertemperatur war sehr angenehm und wir genossen es, die meiste Zeit am Pool zu verbringen. Es gibt nur sehr wenige Häuser in Sarasota, die drei Master Schlafzimmer mit King-Size-Betten mit eigenem Bad wie dieses Haus haben. Die Küche war gut bestückt. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Dies war unser viertes Jahr in Sarasota und dies war das beste Haus, das wir je hatten.
