Hi Terry, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Balsam Lodge A3. While we are glad you enjoyed the location of the home, we are very sorry to learn of the disappointing aspects of your vacation. We understand you reached out during your stay regarding access to the outdoor pool and hot tubs and we want to reiterate our sincere apologies that these were not available to you. We had specifically been told that while the facilities would be under construction, the pool and hot tub would remain open. After receiving your message, we were saddened to hear this was no longer the case. Additionally, we are truly sorry for the disruption to your vacation resulting from this construction. We had not received feedback from our guests prior to your stay and our internal reports confirmed that the project had not escalated and would not disrupt your stay. We recognize the negative impact this had and hope the compensation we provided reflected this. We wish we had been made aware of the cleaning oversights and lacking inventory, as these are items we would have been happy to address during your time with us. That being said, we understand wanting to remain unplugged while on vacation. We have made sure to address this amongst our housekeeping team and appreciate you letting us know.
