The Outpost at Fayette Springs is a one level, 1,014 sq ft, luxury cabin with 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom accommodations, well portioned indoor living room, open concept layout between wood fireplace, living and dining room and kitchen.

This cabin sits on 8 private acres with two spring fed ponds perfect for summer enjoyment.

The wrap around deck includes a large front entry covered deck protected from the heaviest rain and a sun drenched deck side for those that crave the warmth.

A limited supply of firewood is provided from October through March.

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was comfy and close to everything while being nice and private. Our dog enjoyed the company of the owners dog who came to visit everyday! Would definitely stay here again!

This little GEM was wonderful. The owners were communicative and accommodating. The place was beautifully set up and very comfortable. We loved the fireplace . We enjoyed their pup BART, whom loved to visit . We would definitely return and would recommend . We look forward to a summer time stay in the future !

The host was very welcoming. The amenities had everything you needed for a couple days away from home. Absolutely beautiful property. The owner’s dogs said hello and were very friendly and well behaved.

We loved our time at the Outpost! Close to all of the fun at Ohiopyle, but still secluded and utterly peaceful. The cabin was just what the 5 of us needed, and our dog enjoyed his time there, too. Visits from the friendly neighbor dogs made everything even more welcoming.

We had a wonderful time at the Outpost. It was perfectly located to Ohiopyle, Youghiogheny River Lake, and Laurel Caverns. We spent many evenings at the beautiful cabin just enjoying the many deer and turkey that roamed around. The highlight for us was the daily visits from Bart and Sofi -the neighbors labradors who where a wonderful welcome committee. We highly recommend The Outpost!

Awesome stay

The place was amazing, clean and served as a perfect cabin weekend away with the family and our dog in the Laurel Highlands. Quick to Ohiopyle with privacy to enjoy time as a family by the campfire! We are already looking forward to booking again!

Perfect home away from home!

This cabin and it’s property is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The location to surrounding area is great as well. We decided before we left that we would be staying again in the future.

Cozy cabin

We had a great stay at the outpost cabin! It was a perfect little getaway and very close to ohiopyle. The cabin was tucked away but also not too far from restaurants and stores. The cabin was clean and cozy and equipped with everything we could need.

Outdoor retreat

This place was the perfect getaway for a lovely outdoor and relaxing retreat. We enjoyed our time, and even our lab had a great time playing in the pond. The cabin was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed.

So happy we found this hidden gem. Close to everything, but super secluded and peaceful. Place is soooo clean and chic- better than the pictures. We had everything we needed for our stay and more! Will definitely be back!

Remote Getaway in the Mountains

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this remote property, that was still close enough to enjoy all the action at Ohiopyle. We loved our visits from the owner's dog, Bart, who lives on the neighboring property.

Thank you for staying with us! So, glad you enjoyed this remote property. It really provides the "best of both worlds" as it's remote but still very close to the local spots. Yes, Bart is a regular visitor to the property and such a loving dog! He's always checking in on our guests to see if they are alright---he loves the attention.

Great long weekend with kids and pup

We really enjoyed our stay with a 4 and 2 year old boy and an almost one year old pup! Bart was so sweet and had a wonderful influence on our mini Aussie. Great central location to many activities. I would love to come back for a winter experience!
