Aqua Bluff features 2 bedrooms with the most comfortable Queen Beds in each room and an available blow up mattress. 2 full bathrooms with shower's, open living-kitchen-dinning area, washer, dryer, front sitting porch, side grilling and cooking porch, and back screen porch with a table for 6 to chill in the evening after coming in off the water or off the links. Plenty of parking for one boat and trailer parallell to the front or 3 vehicles head on. Shellman Bluff Marina and Hunter's restaurant are walking distance. Great stay

Great place! Buddy and I came in for a golf tournament and this place was awesome. Super short drive to the course and to some great restaurants. If I can make it there next year, I’ll absolutely book again!

Such a nice little community!

This cottage was so adorable and cozy!We very much enjoyed our stay.Just a short walk to the boat docks!beautiful views.Kitchen was well stocked with pots,pans,utensils,etc.Bathrooms were so nice with large showers.We enjoyed our stay very much!

Aqua Bluff Cottage

The house is charming. It is perfect for 2 couples, very cozy. The location is perfect and the home layout is great. Loved the screen porch. We will be back.

Aqua Blue House

We had a wonderful experience at the property. We frequent Shellman Bluff but have never stayed here until this past weekend. The property manager was wonderful to deal with! She allowed us to check in earlier than anticipated so that we could get our stay started early. Will 100% stay here again in the future!

The repersentation on line was a bit misleading. The location is a relatively congested area we were not expecting. If you like to be in the middle of the action it's a great place. We were not looking to be in the middle of the action.

Cute little cottage

We arrived for our third visit to the area and our second time with Chris. The decor was very charming. The quiet fishing village of Shellman Bluff surprised us when it came to life at night. Tim enjoyed some of his time on the Sapelo Golf Course and taking a few trips out in the kayak. We had wonderful weather this year and enjoyed the beaches at Jeykll Island. We also took a day trip to Sapelo Island once again. Found the "Green Turnip" in Darien for fresh produce and made several trips to Sapelo Creek Seafood market. In close proximity we visited Blackbeards and Hunters. Thank you for a wonderful time.

A Little Gem

My husband and I had been on the road vacationing for several weeks and felt like we needed some downtime.Shellmans Bluff was the perfect place .T​his little Gem of a property is tucked away in a cute little neighborhood and within walking distance of a Fishing Camp with a little restaurnt we fell in love with called the Hunters Cafe. Wonderful seafood ! The property is adorable and very clean.I​​​​​t's the first time however, We've ​ be​e​​​​​n asked​ t​​​​​​​​​​o load the dishwasher, run it and had to wait to put the dishes away before checking​ out ​s​​​​o plan​ accordingly if you want to make the checkout time​.The decor and comfort make up for that​ h​oweve​r​.I highly recommend ​it.

Quiet and Relaxing

Aqua Bluff was the best place for us to unwind and relax for a few days during a long road trip. The cottage is adorable and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. One of our best meals this trip was at Hunter’s Cafe and we loved the walkability of the whole place. I was a little disappointed that the kayaks looked like they had seen better days, as I was looking forward to exploring the river. The kayaks were filthy and covered in spiders and other insects. I’m not sure how that could have been prevented in the heat and humidity but it was really nice to have the option of kayaks. I just wish they were in better shape. Overall, we loved our stay here!

Aqua Bluff is charming!

We recently spent a week at Aqua Bluff and learned quickly to kick back and take in the scenery and charm of Shellman Bluff, GA. In early spring, there were no crowds allowing us to bike or take walks along the water with ease. The cottage was very comfortable--modern and cozy. My husband and I were traveling with my mother and her small dog and the space was just right. Mom and I enjoyed seeing how creatively it was decorated. Aqua Bluff made a great starting point for us to explore the surrounding area that is filled with history and southern hospitality. We were able to spend a day each at Sapelo Island, St. Simon's, Jekyll Island, Darien and Savannah and still have time to taste the local cuisine and relax. Chris, the realtor, is very helpful and eager to ensure a great visit. That's just what we had!

Gone Fishin

We were looking for a location that would allow us to dock our boat and a house big enough to enjoy with 2 couples. This rental was perfect for us! The house is just big enough with 2 rooms and 2 full bathrooms. We enjoyed the living and dining areas for just hanging out and eating and playing Yahtzee at the kitchen table. The kitchen was well equipped, although could use some updated frying pans and cooking utensils. There is a lovely screened porch on the back of the house that we mostly used for storing our fishing gear. The most important part was that the house was very clean and that made us feel comfortable. It's on a quiet street just a short drive to Shellman's Fish Camp where we docked our boat. Very easy to get on the water each day. The day we spent at Blackbeard Island was our favorite. We literally had the island to ourselves on New Year's Eve. There is so much beauty and wildlife to enjoy. We definitely would stay here again.

Shellmans Bluff at its finest

House is within walking distance to hunters and the marina. Property is very clean and recently renovated. An abundance of towels. Beds are super comfy and the sheets are 5 star. We have found our new spot for fishing at the coast. We will be back!!!

Enjoyable

I enjoyed the area, privacy, location, and property managers help. I would have liked a cleaner front porch to sit out on. Inside was very clean but large palametto bugs outside and found 1 in the house. I am not from the southern states so this may attribute to that and is a common occurrence. Judith was very helpful and responsive. Organized information on local area restaurants and Grocery stores.

Cute cottage that our family loved

We had a nice, cozy stay. The outside was as cute as the pictures show and the interior was nicely updated and clean. It was a very nice home away from home for my family of 4. We were disappointed that the screened in porch was not clean and ready to use, but we mentioned it to Judith, the manager, and she said that she'd take care of it for future stays. Judith is a very sweet person and such a pleasure to interact with. I was surprised to learn that the house is just a short walk from the water, but we couldn't get close enough to enjoy it because there were so many private docks in the area. That's not the problem that the property owner can fix but it's good to know if you had plans to sit next to the water for most of the trip like I did.
