Brand New Dock!

Unique round house with stunning 360 degree views directly on the estuary, where you can fish, kayak or take a short walk across the street to enjoy Broadkill Beach. For those looking to relax, the view provides wonderful bird watching across the wildlife refuge at the back door. You can see the sun rise over the bay in the morning, and set behind the preserve in the evening. The exceptional view makes this house like no other and offers a calming environment for not only vacationing, but working or doing virtual school if you crave a change of environment.

There is plenty of room for the whole family to relax in their own space or cozy up on the couch together. The living room is an open rotunda, great for gatherings. Feel free to take advantage of the available puzzles, games and books. The in-law suite on the lower level provides a separate living area with King bed and pull out couch.

Sleep comfortably in one of the 3 king beds, 2 queens or 2 twins, all comfortable and like new condition. Unwind in front of the smart TV in family room with netflix, hulu or amazon prime or laze in front of the TV in the master suite or in-law apartment. Make a homemade meal in the full size kitchen with fully stocked cooking and baking supplies or order pizza from the Broadkill Store.

This portion of Bayshore drive fits only two houses between the beach and estuary. This means more space per family on the beach and a greater sense of privacy, in the water, on the beach, or within the home. There are simply few places in the world that allow a sense of seclusion at the beach, and certainly none as affordable as the Broadkill area.

After a day at the beach, rinse off at our private outdoor shower and store your gear under the covered carport. Enjoy a night out in the small town of Milton, at the local shops or drive into Lewis or Rehoboth beaches, both a short drive from your vacation home.

The BRAND NEW DOCK allows you to easily take out the readily available Kayaks for a family adventure or afternoon escape. Or have a relaxing day fishing or crabbing right off the back yard. Please obtain a very inexpensive fishing license to avoid any fines.

"Bliss" offers a wonderful spacious environment on a secluded and undiscovered beach only a short drive from popular attractions and shopping.

Had another excellent stay at Broadkill. This house simply has the best views out over the Broadkill River and easy access to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and every year they make another great addition to the house or property. Would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was amazing and the hosts replied promptly. Their kitchen is the most well supplied kitchen we have had in a rental. The beds are super comfortable, outdoor sitting is very welcoming. Fishing and watching the sunsets are a favorite! Added benefit was the ping pong table for our young teenagers.

The house and views are amazing! The location was perfect and there was something for everyone to enjoy! We fished, crabbed(caught enough for 2meals), kayaked, and swam/played at the beach. There was plenty of wildlife to keep our birder entertained. There are also plenty of quiet places to just sit and enjoy the view. We are a family of 9 ranging in age from 2-67 and we all went home happy and relaxed.

A beautifully relaxing retreat

The house is wonderful with its 360 degree views. Having flowing water and a dock on the property allowed for fishing and crabbing multiple times a day. Enough bathrooms for our crowd and private spaces suited extended family members. All in all our week at Broadkill Beach was a hit!

Perfect Family Spot

This is our second year here and it has been a great place get the entire family together for a week of summer fun. The quiet beach and the fishing dock and kayaks and a canoe are all right there for us to enjoy. Rehoboth, Lewes, and the Cape May ferry are only about a half hour away. The house offers spectacular views of both ocean and marsh, and excellent bird watching. Every guest was comfortable in their space.

Family Time

We had a wonderful time staying at Bliss. We traveled to the area for a funeral, and having this house allowed us to be together during a hard time. The views are STUNNING and having board games there to play made for a fun and relaxing time.

Great Views

A group of eight visited for 4 days. House worked well. Views are great and everything we needed was available. Short trips to various activities including a winery, a tour of Dogfish Head brewery and some great breakfast and dinner places. Small issue but was solved very quickly. Owners are very responsive.

The elevator was a life saver, The views of sunrise to sunset and moon rise were amazing. The house is comfortable. We didn't try any of the TV''s so cannot comment on the technology aspects of the house. We do intend to return.

The house is a dream if you are looking for being a little off the beaten path but not too far from the action. Beautiful and roomy home with easy access to the beach and state park, but not a far drive from restaurants and the boardwalk. The beach is quiet compared to lewes, rehoboth, ect and was ideal for shell finding and observing wildlife. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, living room was an amazing space to enjoy the views, and the dock was an added bonus to the property.

Awesome stay at Bliss at Broadkill beach! Everything was clean and well maintained, and our host was very quick to respond back to any questions we had. Views were amazing from the house and we were able to make so many fun memories going to the beach and using the back dock. Would definitely consider returing for another stay :)

The property was exactly as presented in photos, and the views were unbeatable—sunrise over Delaware Bay, sunset over the beautiful marshes of the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge. The location is great for excursions for hikes and birding.

Quiet and quaint spot in September

We visited with our five boys, ages 15 to 9, and they loved this property!! We ordered groceries by Instacart and headed straight for the beach. The road was quiet in September, and the sunset views were incredible.

Perfectly Rounded Vacation

This property is amazing. A unique ROUND house with views of both the Bay and the Estuary from the windows that encircle the home. Big comfy Family room, great outdoor deck to hang out and big comfy rooms. Lots of stuff available (so it made the trip easier, since we did not have to lug a ton of stuff) and the fishing was great. Nice - Easy and relaxing place to stay. Host was great and so was the Home.

We are a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children. We fell in love with Broadkill Beach in 2012 and have returned every year since. The house is perfect for us and allows family and friends to visit and stay in the in-law suite with it's own entrance. We love the laid back feel and lack of tourist crowds that Broadkill provides. Our yearly routine has been to spend a week or two at the beach, with the occasional trip into Rehoboth for the boardwalk, water parks, and shopping.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We rented this property ourselves during the summer of 2020, when children were in virtual school and my husband was working from home. It was the best environment we could imagine to help everyone through an isolated summer. The quiet beach allowed plenty of space to socially distance from other families and the rural lighting allowed our kids to see the Persied meteor shower. When it went on the market that fall, we knew it was for us.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

The top floor rotunda of this circular house has top to bottom windows along the east and west facing wall giving views of the water on both sides. It is bathed in natural light from sun up to sun down. The same round design provides ample light into the bedrooms.

The in-law suite too has vast windows looking out over the wildlife preserve and a set of doors that can be opened to allow the summer air to pass through while providing enough shade to keep the room from getting too hot.

This section of Bayshore Drive has a narrow strip of land between the beach and the estuary, allowing for only two houses, one on each side of the road. The beach here is private to those homes and thus even more space per family than elsewhere in undiscovered Broadkill Beach.
