Maui Kamaole #G-201 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath second floor unit with a front row ocean view. Air conditioned throughout, it has a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 3 flat-screen TVs, Blu-Ray player, telephone, and free Wifi. Both bedrooms have king beds, and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers (no tub). For outdoor activities, Maui Kamaole #G-201 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a wagon, and a cooler. Sleeps 6. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Kamaole Beach Park III is just across the street from the upscale Maui Kamaole. This property features lush tropical landscaping, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. World famous Kamaole Beach Park III features a long, sandy shoreline, and great snorkeling. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will also enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. Maui Kamaole is within walking distance to activities, shops, and restaurants, and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Communication was clear and helpful from the very start. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We really appreciated that the coffee maker was both carafe and keurig! I also appreciated that there were storage containers available. The ice maker in the freezer was great to have, too. Beds were comfortable and extra linens were provided for the sofa bed. The view from the lanai was fantastic. We weren’t ready to leave! Thank you for a lovely stay.

All the comforts of home and more.

Of course, we loved the beautiful view from the lanai! The sunsets, the humpbacks and the moon. The condo was spacious for the 5 of us and was well appointed with towels, beach chairs, snorkels etc. The kitchen had everything we needed. The grounds at Maui Kamaole are beautifully kept and add to the Hawaiian vibe. We used the lower pool and hot tub exclusively and they were always sparkly clean. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and the living area were quiet and worked well. We are happy to recommend this unit!

Best Building Location in Maui Kamaole Complex

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying in Kihei and we love the area. Maui Kamaole is a quite hilly complex but this particular unit is located close to the entrance making it convenient to walk to/from the main drag or Kamaole Beach Park 3. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook, grill, or pack the cooler. There are two beach umbrellas, four low back Tommy Bahama beach chairs, pool/beach toys, snorkel gear and beach/pool towels. The lanai has a gorgeous view and seating for six with a retractable awning. Our only complaint, and it's a big one to us, is the bed in the room on the main floor. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable! The mattress is thin and the springs can be felt in certain areas. The linens are not quality and we felt as though we were sleeping on a camping mattress/bed. The bed in the loft bedroom is more comfortable but not convenient for those who have trouble with stairs...with the condo being on the second floor and the loft being on the second floor of the unit, you're essentially going up two flights of stairs to get to the loft. Aside from the bed, we enjoyed G-201.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is adequate, but nothing special. There are steep steps up to the unit and steep steps to the upstairs bedroom and bath (the Master). Beware you will need to carry your luggage and groceries up the outside stairs and luggage up the interior stairs. The outdoor light at the front door blinks, making it difficult to see the keypad. The unit comes with 3 rolls of TP in each bath, rolls that have VERY thin paper and are not regular sized rolls. They are quite small. Same for the paper towels. There is no overhead lighting in either bedroom making it hard to see things even in daylight with all the shutters opened. In the bathroom downstairs, there is mold around the shower door and it is brown and needs to be replaced. It looks very dirty. The kitchen is stocked well with the basics for cooking and eating in. When we tried to BBQ the BBQs near the unit were not working. Overall, a big disappointment. The management company was responsive and nice to work with but needs to provide better quality in the starter kit. Great view from the balcony! Also, on the positive side, the A/C worked very well. Keep in mind everyone's point of reference is different and some would be very satisfied with this unit.

Great 2 bedroom/2bath condo

We enjoyed our 8 day/7 night stay at the condo. Self check in was very easy. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Lots of amenities in the kitchen that was appreciated. The closet had great stuff to use (boogie boards, coolers, chairs, wagon, snorkeling stuff). Very clean upon arrival. As a couple other reviewers pointed out, the condo is close to the main road so you will hear some car noise out on the lanai. Also, I hope the owners/ management group reconsider the amenities in the “starter pack” - we found ourselves rationing bath products the last couple of days. No other condo we’ve stayed at limited bath/kitchen products like that.

Great Kihei condo

This was a lovely condo in south Kihei. It was clean and comfortable, with an ocean view from the lanai. Parking was steps from the condo, and the walk to the pool or to the beach was just a minute or two. We would definitely stay again.

Very attentive and responsive. Easy to deal with and kept us regularly informed. It was a great experience using the Hospitality app where all our reservation information was readily accessible without searching emails. The unit was just as described, very clean, nice to have beach gear and the ocean view from porch amazing. Lots of hangers and closets, storage spaces. Lots of room for a family of 5. When an AC unit wasn’t suddenly working, they quickly addressed and has a technician out same day. The condo, surrounding grounds and amenities were maintained high standard. Very good mattress in sofa bed where our 17 yr old son slept and 19,10 yr old daughters shared loft king bed which also excellent condition. The main floor bedroom king bed mattress is showing age, and recommend it be replaced along with bedroom carpeting showing age with some lifting, and spotting. Only issue was the roosters that took some getting used to, and ear plugs/white noise to drown out :)Location excellent only 5 min from Komaoele beach 3. However it is a good 20+ min walk to a nearby coffee shop/grocery etc. This trip was a once in a lifetime experience for our family of 5, and it was a memorable time in Maui!

Enjoyable stay

We had a wonderful time in Maui. My family and I really enjoyed the condo. It was spacious and all the beds including the sofa bed was comfortable. Great view from the lanai, perfect for breakfast or a beer and poke after the beach, which is just a short walk away. The only complaint is that there were flies in the first floor bathroom. I get its an island and there are bugs, its not the first time we've encountered other guests in the condo. But this won't deter us from coming back to this specific condo. Mahalo for a great stay!

Maui Kamaole #G-201

Great views from the lanai, walk to the beach, small boat harbor, shops, restaurants. Easy access to to other parts of the island and the great beaches to the South. Property is very nice except for all of the chickens and roosters crowing at all hours. Condo interior getting a little worn, but everything fully functional and well stocked except the upstairs AC is very weak and probably wouldn't be OK in summer. Would be nice to be provided with more amenities and not just a "starter pack", especially for longer stays, but it was clear in the fine print. The 15 minute 3D whale movie at the Maui Ocean Center is worth the price of admission and the Makenna snorkeling is excellent on most all beaches South of the Wailea resorts. Make sure to check the summit cam before venturing up to Haleakela as the weather is unpredictable. The small, family run Kula gardens is a good back up plan if you like exotic plants and flowers. Was there for two weeks and stayed clear of Lahaina and Kaanapali; just didn't want to deal with the traffic/crowds and there was plenty to do in/around Kihei.
