Escape to a serene waterfront retreat on Wye Lake! Nestled in the outskirts of Port Orchard, Washington, this charming 2-bedroom cabin is surrounded with natural beauty and offers a peaceful haven for couples, families or small groups seeking an intimate lakefront vacation experience. The cabin is tastefully furnished and features breathtaking views of the lake and its own new private dock. There`s plenty of seating, a firepit, picnic table, BBQ, a pedal boat and 2 kayaks for your enjoyment!

Located just a short drive from the charming town of Port Orchard, this cabin is the perfect home base for exploring in any direction! Within approximately a 30-minute drive, you can explore Bremerton, Silverdale, or Tacoma. Want to checkout Seattle? Enjoy a scenic 1-hour ferry ride to see Pike Place Market and the Space Needle - keep an eye out for whales! Want to go hiking? Take a drive up to the Olympic Mountains, Hood Canal trails, or keep it local and hike one of the numerous trails in the area.
There`s so much to do in the PNW!

When you step inside this beautifully remodeled cabin, you will be greeted with an open concept floorplan complete with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a smart TV and high quality throws to cozy up with, a fireplace, boardgames, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower (stocked with the needed essentials for your stay), and two bedrooms- one which is the primary bedroom with a queen bed, and the other room has a bunk bed with a double sized bed on the bottom and a double sized bed on the top. You will be feeling at home from the moment you arrive!

Outside, you can enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the sun rise over the tranquil waters of the lake. Adventure onto the lake in one of the provided boats, swim, or fish! A firepit sits looking over the lake just waiting for you to end your day while creating family memories while roasting marshmallows!

Peaceful winter getaway

We enjoyed the opportunity to take a winter break at this comfortable cabin on Wye Lake. Check in was easy and verything we needed was available. The weather was nice enough for a peaceful kayak paddle around the lake.

A tiny lake getaway!

I always love it when a place is as good or better than it looks in the photos. Loved the gray and aqua lake decor. Kitchen very well equipped. Window A/C in main bedroom kept entire cottage comfortable on our one hot afternoon. It was like staying on a "cul-de-sac"--but instead of asphalt, it was a quiet little neighborhood lake. Totally recommend!

Family vacation

Lets start off by saying that the only reason this rental gets 5 stars is due to the fact that 6 is not an option! Perfect in every way, the home is beautiful, clean and very well appointed.This home has everything you could need for a week ( or more) of vacation. Melissa was an awesome host from the very first question. She was always prompt and provided us with all and any information we needed. It appears that she has put this home together thinking the entire time about the guests and what their needs may be. The lake.. How to best describe this place? It may be the single best secret swimming hole in the entire state. Clean, quiet and warm. We have never been to a place so peaceful. We absolutely love this lake.Our 3 year old daughter actually cried the day we left. “ Daddy why can’t we live here?” “Maybe some day?” Do your self a favor and spend a week with your loved ones at the beautiful home!

Great little lakehouse

Small (~600sq ft) but everything you need in a lakeside stay for a few people. Dock is amazing to play or lounge on and picnic table outside made up for the small indoor table. We stayed on this lake last year and love the quaint peacefulness on the water. Pedal boat and kayaks are very nice amenities. Furniture could use an upgrade. The master bedframe was threatening collapse, the couch was worn and the stools around the table were wobbly at odd heights. Small couch is the only comfortable lounging space and its far from the tv. Caulking in the shower is moldy and needs replacing. Nothing that took away from our trip, but a few room for improvements. Also the managing company charged my credit card a deposit without notifying me and caused a bit of a commotion when I disputed the charge. I also feel like I got a generic response to my request to check in early and was told they'd follow up and never did. Wouldn't want to stay here with too many people, but made for the perfect little lake getaway for our family of 3.

A Winter Beauty

Take a Break at Lake Wye was a perfect location for us to stay while we visited family in the area and hosted our young grandchildren who stayed with us at night. The fireplace heater, the lovely interiors and comfortable setting by the lake all made for a pleasant experience for all as we watched the snow flurries settle on the lake.

Great getaway

Great secluded and quiet place to stay that is still close enough to town and all the tourist spots. The host is wonderful and was so kind to us during the whole stay. We will definitely remember our time here and are anxious to return.

Very Impressed

Melissa's rental was very clean, very well supplied, and comfortable. Check in/out was easy with clear instructions. Since we were there over Thanksgiving, Melissa even checked that we had all the kitchen supplies we needed. Definitely a place worth revisiting.

Family Getaway

We just spent a little over a week at Break at Wye Lake. House was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had anything you could possibly need ( including a waffle maker) which was great as we cooked about 90% of out meals there. It had a nice porch with patio set and grill. There is a fire pit surrounded by ample seating. We weren't able to have a fire due to a local burn ban but we still sat around and talked. There is also a nice picnic table near the fire pit. The kids enjoyed using the paddle boat and fishing from the dock. We usually come from NY once a year to visit family and we hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Amazing Location

The property was exactly what we had hoped for and then some. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful. Having quick and easy access to the lake was great. Having a dock to sit and relax on or for the kids to jump off was an added bonus. The kids had our SUPs on the lake multiple times a day. While the house itself is small, it is laid out well, completely remodeled, and had great amenities. The back deck was also nice and was an extension to the inside. For smaller families like ours (two adults and two kids), would definitely recommend.

Beautiful lake stay in quiet neighborhood

Stunning lake view home with plenty of space to spread out. Loved all the amenities in the home and the paddle boat especially. We saw bald eagles, adorable otters, fish and cute birds that eat mosquitos at night. This was a wonderful break for us from "real life" and would definitely stay here again if we get back to Washington someday. Wonderful place to stay with all the amenities. The owner was very sweet and brought us cupcakes to make up for us not being allowed to have a campfire (and s'mores) due to fire restrictions right now. Loved the whole stay and wish this was our house! : )

Perfect retreat

This cozy spot is a perfect retreat. Don’t be put off by the size. The space feels twice as big as everything is efficiently and thoughtfully laid out. The lake is peaceful and quiet with no electric motors allowed. Communication was extremely prompt and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect lakefront cabin

We stayed 8 nights at this wonderful lakefront cabin. We had so much fun, one of our favorite places we've stayed. It's very clean with everything you need including excellent coffee. Melissa is so kind and very responsive if you have questions before or during your vacation. It was nice using the pedal boat to explore this great little lake and do some fishing. Great little cabin

We enjoyed our time for memorial day weekend. The lake wasn't too crowded during the day or too noisy at night. The cabin had everything you need. Our kids loved swimming in the lake and making Smores at night in the fire pit. Recommend!
