Makaha can't be beat for those looking for uncrowded beaches, striking sunsets, hiking, and the incredible ease of real Hawaii. Our condo is outfitted with airy midcentury-modern styling and a hint of Hawaiiana as well as full frontal floor to ceiling glass rendering an unhindered view of at hand plumeria trees, palms, island birds, mountains, and a limited but lovely ocean view. It includes free wifi, cable, a fully outfitted modern kitchen, all linens & towels, and an on-sight caretaker for the unexpected. Additionally, the property boasts a heated salt-water pool with an adjacent grill and barbecue picnic area.

Our favorite days on island include spending all morning and evening sitting on the best beaches on Oahu, watching the most stunning sun sets, hiking Ka'ena Point and the many accessible mountain ridges, snorkeling in pristine waters while encountering marvelous tropical fish, dolphins, turtles, and even the occasional Monk Seal, or simply relaxing on the garden view lanai. For those looking for quiet relaxation, mental margin, and outdoor pleasures it really is a paradise.

Makaha Valley Towers also has a wonderfully diligent 24hr security team that sets your mind at ease as well as centrally located pay per use washers and dryers.

The Perfect Place

The property is beautiful, and the condo was the perfect size for my family to regroup each night and get ready for another fun filled day! It had everything that we needed and was close to all kinds of restaurants, grocery stores, and beaches. We sat on the lanai and drank our coffee every morning. We love this place and hope we can stay again soon!

Best place for our family

We have two ten year olds and a twelve year old. We fit very comfortably here. The kitchen is so well stocked and we appreciated the beach chairs and supplies too. There’s a lovely hike right beside the towers so we could start our day with a beautiful walk, the pool has lots of bbqs near it which made for some yummy swims and suppers. Makaha has the best beaches and lovely hikes, it’s our favourite part of the island we would stay here again anytime. Our hosts were excellent and accommodating thank you for a wonderful time!

Perfect island getaway 🌺

I was specifically looking for a rental on the west side of Oahu, where my friend lives. This condo was perfect! We enjoyed the laid-back aloha lifestyle here on the west with lots of snorkeling and beauty. Whenever we wanted to do something more tourist-y we just hopped in the car and drove to the east for a bit. The condo had everything needed for the beach, cooking meals, and just hanging out and relaxing. The hosts had wonderful communication and were fabulous to work with! Plenty of space for my family of 5… everyone had a great experience & is looking forward to our next trip!

Lovely, but.....

The room itself was lovely, but the facility was run almost like a prison. Security is tight, and very strict rules including no playing in the pool. No jumping in or "horseplay" of any kind. While Makaha Valley is absolutely beautiful, and so are the beaches, we were quite discouraged from going to almost any of the local beaches due to the VERY high homeless population on them. And unfortunately the drive time to get anywhere else was extensive due to traffic on the one roadway going to and from the area.
