The Antlers private and quiet location enables guests to experience all the comforts of a private residence with a unique spin on modern luxury living that must be witnessed at least once in your lifetime.
The condos at Antlers Vail are individually owned, so the decor, bedding and layout will differ, however there will be no lapse in luxury in whichever residence you choose. The Queen or King size bed in the master offers a comfortable, plush place to recoup after a long day on the slopes. Each condo has a pull-out sofa in the living room for a maximum occupancy of four guests to sleep comfortably through the night.
This luxurious one-bedroom condo comes with 680 square feet of comfort and a fully equipped kitchen for that master chef in the making. Sink into the plush sofa while watching the embers from the fireplace soar away and enjoying your favorite movie on the large flat screen HDTV. Floor to ceiling windows fill the condo with lots of natural light, and upon stepping out onto your private balcony, you can take in the views of Vail Mountain and Gore Creek. Each condo is equipped with a BBQ grill on the balcony and chairs to relax and take in the mountain air with your fresh morning coffee. When it comes to designing and decorating the residence, every luxurious detail has been considered. The interior features hardwood floors, full size appliances, and granite or tile countertops in the kitchen.

There is an outdoor, heated pool and two hot tubs open all year round for your enjoyment located right next to the creek, as well as a fully equipped fitness center featuring Precor equipment and private changing rooms with showers. Very Enjoyable Condo
We really enjoyed our stay at The Antler in Lionhead Village. Very walkable to the shops and restaurants in Lionhead Village and a quick bus ride to Vail Village. The condo was very clean with nice amenities. Check-in was easy at the front desk and Gabe was a great help in getting us situated.

The property is in a great location in the heart of Vail village. The property was well maintained and clean. The unit itself was clean, but very old and dated. There were no extra blankets, and the condo did not feel warm and inviting. The photos we were sent of a comparable unit, were misleading and didn't accurately reflect the quality of the room we stayed in.

Antlers at Vail
Antlers at Vail is a very short walk to the gondola at Lionshead Village, so its location is a definite plus. They also allow pets, another plus, as many hotels and lodges in Vail have a no pets policy. I found the condo to be pretty much as expected - nothing more, nothing less. Everything was clean and neat, and we had everything necessary for our stay there. Staff was also helpful and courteous. It is worth noting that Vail in general is more expensive than most other ski resorts, and the rates at Antler do reflect this. This year we rented both a 3 bedroom condo at Crested Butte (short walk to lift, at around half the cost per night) and an entire, lovely house in Sun Valley (which was also walking distance to the lift) for about the same price per night as what we paid for a one bedroom condo at Antlers, per night. Again, I do not think this is indicative of Antlers alone - rather just what one can expect when visiting Vail in general. I do appreciate though, that there was a place for us to stay in Vail with our pets, as they are truly part of the family. So Antlers gets bonus points for this.

Great location & dog friendly
We had a great time staying in this condo at the Antlers in Vail. It is very close to everything at Lionshead. You can walk to the gondola in less than five minutes. The condo itself was a touch small for our family of four and dog but it would be perfect for a couple! The pool and hot tub was great and just a great location overall!

Intervening Agent: Disaster
The Antlers is well located in Lionshead Village about 100 yards from the gondola. The property is well maintained and the skier amenities are thoughtful and convenient (ski boot storage with warming rack, ski valet right at the entrance to the gondola, etc.). We brought our dog (paying a pet premium and agreeing to be responsible for any possible damage), and she was pampered as well (large, fresh dog bed, food and water bowls, convenient relief areas with poop bags, etc.). The lobby coffee and hot beverage machine was super high end. The unit itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed from kitchen, to bath products, to high end grill on the balcony overlooking the creek. Their COVID-19 precautions were clear, enforced and comforting as the pandemic raged.
The only problem with our stay was the intermediary agency (Gondola Resorts). After reserving through VRBO (doesn't that mean "vacation rental by owner"?) and making a non-cancellable and fully paid reservation, we found that Gondola had merely "advertised" the condominium on VRBO, even though Gondola is not the property owner, just a rental agent middleman. Then, Gondola sent a "short-term rental agreement" that they insisted I must execute or be denied occupancy. The terms were egregious, so I refused to sign--relying on my VRBO contract. After some very unpleasant phone calls and last-minute brinksmanship, I was finally able to reach Goldola's lawyer and work out a satisfactory agreement, the very day we were to leave for our ski vacation.
The Antlers is a fine complex with a helpful staff. However, I am deeply disappointed that VRBO would allow an agency like Gondola to intermediate on its site and allow this brazen attempt to unilaterally impose unreasonable occupancy conditions with the explicit threat of holding my full payment yet denying my occupancy. Way bad, VRBO!
