The front door opens into a double-height entryway with a custom built-in bench and storage. To the left of the entry is a large living room with a spacious, comfortable sectional, a television with streaming apps, and a gorgeous natural gas fireplace. To the right, the cozy dining room features two paintings from local artists and seating for six. A sunny art room off the living room is stocked with art supplies, an easel, desk, and chair — perfect for getting some work done or being creative.
The kitchen is a dream: custom cabinetry, a large farmhouse sink with a picture window overlooking the yard, a six-burner gas stove, electric oven, custom-built walnut island with seating and an outlet, and open shelving to keep essentials in easy view. Everything you need to cook meals is included, from olive oil and spices to sugar, flour and honey. Local coffee, tea, and accompaniments are also provided.
Each bedroom has a king bed with a supportive and ultra-comfortable medium-firm gel memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets, a down-alternative duvet, and four pillows of varying firmness. Easily accessible outlets are available on both sides of each bed for charging your devices. Both upstairs bedrooms also feature built-in desks beneath the dormers, with a chair and nearby outlet. For light sleepers, each bedroom includes a sound machine to help soften any street noise.
All bedrooms have their own naturally lit private bathrooms - two with walk-in showers and one with a bathtub and shower overhead. Fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, and a quality hair dryer are provided in each bathroom. The upstairs laundry room includes a front-loading washer and dryer with steam function, a walnut folding counter, hanging rod, wash sink, ironing board, and iron. Fragrance-free detergent and stain spray are supplied.
French doors lead from the kitchen to a brick patio and beautifully landscaped back garden. String lights sway over an extra-long teak table and outdoor sofas. The firepit is a favorite cozy spot on cool evenings. The grill runs on natural gas, and the edible garden includes a mix of vegetables, herbs, and flowers that guests are welcome to enjoy. Off-street parking is available in front of the house for up to three cars.
