Welcome to the Smokestack River House!

This luxury riverfront property boasts panoramic views of the Deschutes River and the Old Mill District. Step out to the river trail/bike path for a short walk or ride to the shops at the Old Mill and the Les Schwab amphitheater or simply enjoy the scenic trail along the river.

This three story home features upscale furnishings, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen featuring stainless appliances, a gas fireplace in the living room, and a beautiful patio equipped with seating and a BBQ so you can enjoy dinner in the heart of Bend with a beautiful view of the river.

The Smokestack River House has three suites, three bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 guests, making it the perfect location for couples or even groups to come and stay! One suite is located on the lower level with its own private TV room, wet bar and riverfront patio. The master suite with a gloriously large bathroom and second guest suite are located on the upper level.

Grab a kayak, paddle board or inner tube and step right outside to float the river or hop on a cruiser bike and ride through the beautiful Old Mill District neighborhoods. Downtown Bend filled with its many shops, restaurants, and breweries is also just a short bike ride or drive away. 

If you prefer to get out of town and into nature, the Mount Bachelor Ski Resort is an easy 25 minute drive from Bend. This mountain is a blast, with a wide variety of biking trails in the warmer seasons and skiing or snowboarding options in the winter, Mount Bachelor is a highly enjoyable destination.

We had such a great time! The house was extremely clean and exactly as it was advertised in the listing. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the floaters going down the river. We mostly kept our car at the house and were able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. It was fun to listen to the bands play each night at the amphitheater. We are already looking forward to coming back soon! Thank you so much.

In awe!

The property is absolutely perfect for a stay in Bend. This was our first time visiting. We biked and walked from the property to Riverbend park and elsewhere to eat. We loved the balconies! This home has so much space and allowed for the perfect amount of togetherness and privacy for our group. We could not have loved our accommodations more! Fabulous house and location

We’ve been here 3 times and it’s always relaxing, beautiful and fun. The setting is awesome, right on the river. We cook all meals at the house because you don’t want to leave.

Everything was great. We have stayed here before and loved it. Only thing to mention is a few things need attention-the bikes, replace patio cushions, toaster needs replacing, remove chipped glasses. We would happily stay here again.

Incredible Views in Bend

Perfectly located on the river trail and the bustling Old Mill District, this lovely townhouse is large and comfortable. The home has fantastic views of the river, snow covered mountains to the left and the walking path along the Deschutes! Easily walk into town or go the other direction and follow the river through the forest. Home is well equipped and comfortable (especially the master’s king bed! Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful home, amazing location

The property was absolutely perfect for our family of 6, plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hangout, great balconies, all essentials provided, the location was phenomenal
in the old mail area, with miles of walking and biking paths up and down the river (right out the door), great shopping area, coffee shops and restaurants a very short walk away
.plus it overlooked the river which had constant activity and was so fun to sit and watch. We had such an awesome time, it was the most favorite place we’ve ever rented.

This home is right on the river with speculator views , a great open layout that is perfect for families and friends. There is a quiet patio on each level with a gas grill. We love the easy access to mountain bike trails, and all of the out door adventures that Central Oregon has to offer.
