This darling one bedroom apartment is perfect for traveling families, business executives and those hoping to experience the city like a local, completely stress free!

Nestled in a private house in the heart of the city, our bright English basement can comfortably sleep two guests in a queen sized bed and/or a huge, comfy sofa in the living room. While the owner's live in the main home upstairs, the basement apartment has it’s own private entrance, which is accessed through the service road.

Full kitchen for guests' use is complete with all essentials for those hoping to stay in for a meal or two!

The property boasts exposed brick (perfect cooling feature in the summer evenings!), darling patio with seating for two in the summer months, traditional accouterments and interactive design; ultimately making this the perfect home base for your stay. Communal living area is perfect for decompressing after a day of sight-seeing; there is a TV with local channels and streaming capabilities, as well as board games for those rainy afternoons.

Unique features include an industrial barn door which separates the bedroom from the spacious living area in style, and antiques which illuminate the character and history of the home and city. Guests can enjoy total privacy while resting easy in our lovely one bedroom apartment!

Guest Access
~ Guests will have access to the entire unit. It is not shared. 24 hour access by use of a lockbox.

~ For Long-Term Guests Only - the laundry facilities are shared with the owner who lives upstairs. The owner will try and coordinate around guest use.

Other Things to Note
- Strict NO party policy.
- NO smoking. Whilst cannabis is legal in DC, we still insist that no smoking, be it tobacco or marijuana occur at the home or the exterior patio space.
-For security purposes there is a Ring doorbell located next to the exterior entrance door, with a camera that is activated by motion.
- Please inquire first if your check-in is within 48 hours of your arrival dates!
