This home has 2,000 square-feet of luxurious open living PLUS a 600 sf Rec Room (Fully Air Conditioned) complete with foosball table, and large screen TV. Back yard oasis with lagoon style pool, spa, outdoor shower and pergola complete with lighting and hammock swings. Updated stylish home with granite counters, copper sink, gorgeous cabinetry and tile flooring throughout.

7.5 miles to the many white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island! 3.8 miles from Bradenton Area Convention Center, 2.8 miles to Blake Medical Center, 1.4 miles to Bradenton Country Club.

Smart TV's and super fast WiFi. Lots of lounge chairs and seating around the pool to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.

There is a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen open to the rest of the living space because somehow everyone always ends up in the kitchen, right?

Plenty of place settings plus kid friendly dinnerware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, toaster, blender, crock pot, coffee maker (including complimentary coffee, filters and creamer!)

Gas Grill with propane tank is provided. We do not refill the tank, so when it goes empty, please feel free to exchange the tank at a local gas station or Home Depot for around $20.

From start to finish this house was awesome! Very clean and organized. Really nice decor too! We were 3 adults and 3 kids. There was some toys for the kids and plenty of entertainment. The host was communicative after the hurricanes and we kept in touch through out my stay. We will certainly be returning.

This home was absolutely beautiful. The pool was very nice and kept the kids entertained the whole time. The hot tub was a relaxing touch. Located close to Anna Marie and plenty of food options nearby! The host was wonderful and communicated quickly. Upon arrival there was an internet issue (no fault of the host) and she had it fixed asap! We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again.

As advertised

My wife and I stayed for 31 days. We invited friends and family to come visit throughout our stay. Perfectly located a mile and a half from downtown Bradenton. Had a great time, heated pool and hot tub were fantastic. Take note that the 3rd and 4th bedroom are combined. Ideal for families with kids. We stil managed to make it work with four couples. Would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for your feedback. As advertised, we provide sample size toiletries as well as salt and pepper, but not various spices. The bedroom layout is a bit different and is explained in great detail in the listing (2 of the bedrooms are connected to make a family suite).

Pictures completely deceiving

The pictures were misleading, as the space did not match what was advertised. There were no washcloths provided, which was an inconvenience. All the pots/pans were in need of replacement. Additionally, the washer and dryer were located outside, which was not mentioned in the listing. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations.

I am very confused by this review. The photos are of the spaces as they are and only changes I can think of are new (upgraded) outdoor furniture as it was replaced post hurricane, bedding that’s gotten replaced as it’s aged. The washer and dryer are located in the roof covered breezeway between the house and garage. Wash cloths ARE provided with each towel set, and a brand new sponge in the kitchen at each turnover. I will have my cleaners check the pots and pans. I hope this is helpful to future guests to know what to realistically expect as we take a lot of pride in taking care of our properties and providing the best guest experience possible.

Beautiful house. Great outdoor area.

The outdoor area is perfect and the house was clean and beautiful. However, the gorgeous kitchen was horribly equipped making cooking very challenging/frustrating. Something that could be easily fixed. Our only other surprise was that the game room is not part of the main house (it is in a detached garage). Looking back at the property details, we can see how it could be interpreted different ways. We were planning on the extra space for at least 1 of our grown children to sleep and that was not possible. We made due and had a great time overall.

The 600 sf game room is a converted climate controlled detached garage. This is not a legal sleeping space and all sleeping spaces and bedding options are detailed out in the description. I’m sorry if there was some confusion regarding that. All kitchen amenities are listed in the description in great detail. We are also open to feedback on items that would make it even better for future guests.

B, we absolutely enjoyed our stay! lovely! Spent most of the time in pool due to red tide

Loved it! But….chairs were not usable on beach, all but 1 was broken. Very little TP, very little paper towels, no sponges. Umbrella was trashed, we left a new one. Ice maker has very small capacity. Locking doors is a trick! Need to pull really hard to lock. Garage door battery needed replaced. The bamboo floor mates hass pee stains. The rug I’m living room had urine smell. Water in shower takes 4 ever to heat up and shower head is crappy. pool filter was making very loud strange noises the last 3 days. Falling COCONUTS could really hurt someone Besides that, it was perfect!!!!manager was excellent communicator! THANK YOU! THANK YOU

Thank you for the 5 star review and feedback. We had the battery in the garage door code replaced during their stay, we provide 5 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom as well as 1 new roll of paper towel. We don’t provide an umbrella so I’m guessing a guest left behind a broken one. I will see to it that is thrown away and the beach chairs are replaced. I’m sorry those were not usable. I will also have the pool filter checked, but usually an indication water needs to be added so we will take care of that right away. We had all the rugs in the house professionally shampooed the day before check in so i am very confused about that comment.

Amazing Property for Families

We just returned from our 1 week stay. We were two families (4 adults and 5 kids - ages 7,8,9,10,11). It was a perfect property for us and the kids had a blast. Everyone LOVED the pool and the hammocks in the backyard & the games room was a HUGE hit for the kids. If they were not in the pool, they were in there! Having an extra space for them to hang out was perfect!! The house was more spacious then the picture showed which was a pleasant surprise and there is lots of room for everyone to sleep. There were 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbreallas and some beach toys and lots of beach towels! The location is near all the amenities you could want - restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies. It was near Anna Maria Island, however the traffic was terrible getting there! Our first day we left the house at 10:30am and it was bumper to bumper traffic most of the way! We quickly learned that the earlier we left, the better. We started leaving for the beach around 9:00am & stayed for the morning/early afternoon then returned for a pool afternoon and some shade while the sun was at it's hottest. It was perfect! We arrived late our first day (around 11pm) and the pool was at almost 100 degrees. I think there was a glitch with the warmer/hot tub portion. Teresa was great at handling it quickly as our kids were very excited to get swimming & it was just too hot to do that. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Comfortable home - excellent property manager

This home offers a very comfortable stay in a location that's convenient to downtown Bradenton, the Riverwalk and Anna Maria Island. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the inside of the home. The outdoor space wasn't quite as pictured on the listing, but that was mostly rectified toward the end of our stay when a landscape maintenance company came out and did a great job with trimming and cleaning up the overgrown landscaping. We would have loved having it this way for the entire stay! The pool & spa are very nice, though I would say the photos on the listing don't accurately capture the current condition of the outdoor furniture. The wood chairs aren't very comfortable, and were very difficult for our parents (who are in their 70s) to sit on. We ended up ordering a couple of lounge chairs online and having them shipped through Amazon. On the inside of the home, there were several issues that needed attention (kitchen faucet needed repair, 2nd bath showerhead wasn't working, blender didn't work, pots & pans were in poor condition). Every single issue was addressed immediately by the owner/manager. Theresa was even so kind as to immediately ship us new cookware. All necessary repairs were taken care of, leading to a very comfortable stay. Definitely 5 stars for communication and responsiveness. Very, very comfortable beds and linens, which is always at the top of our list. The neighborhood is nice.. just a few blocks from the Manatee River. We enjoyed that there's a neighborhood park only a block away. This is a fabulous place to walk dogs, and we always felt very safe in this neighborhood. Other positives of this property are that you have extra refrigerator and freezer space in the game room area, fka the garage. You don't realize how important this is until you stay in a rental that only has one fridge! Another big plus here is that we literally didn't see ONE insect, spider, or any other creepy crawlies inside this home during our entire 6 week stay! Just a few things prevented us from giving this home a 5 star rating. As other reviews mentioned, the inside of the dishwasher had quite a bit of mold. We cleaned it at the beginning of our stay (took only about 10 minutes and some elbow grease to get rid of the mold), but I can see how it will continue to be a problem until it's replaced, as it remains full of water at the end of the cycle. Overall, very pleased with our stay and would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

My family and I had a lovely trip. The house was great, the backyard is really what makes it. You are close to everything especially Anna Maria Island, only about 20-25 minutes away. If you feel like staying in, the pool and hot tub are a great way to spend your trip. I brought my dog along who had suddenly been diagnosed with cancer two days before our trip. Unfortunately, the day we got there we had to make the decision to let him go. Thankfully, there was an emergency vet 1 minute from the house right on the corner that was extremely compassionate. While the situation wasn’t ideal, it was very helpful to have the vet so close. We made the best of the trip, and would definitely stay at the Barefoot Bungalow again!

Best tree in the block

House was lovely, the owner really thinks about entertaining all ages, my little son loved the tree in front of the house and the swing, my teen loved the amenities in the garage. The property is clean and well maintained

Great house for large group!

Wonderful stay! Owner was very communicative. Lots of amenities to use like towels, laundry stuff, iron and things. Couldn’t figure out light switches since there are so many or how to turn on lights in pool or backyard. Fan in the bunk bed room made a loud noise when on and can get hot in there. There is a 10pm quiet, which is understandable but very strict even on a weekend. Hard to have a large group hanging out in backyard after 10. Great location with many things near by for groceries and things! Great stay overall.

Family adventure

We made a special trip to Bradenton to see the Bishop Museum and Planetarium. Staying at Barefoot Bungalow was very convenient and enjoyable. The house was very nice and the backyard was beautiful and relaxing!
