Our historic home is situated in arguably the best neighborhood in Charlotte...Plaza Midwood. What we love best about the neighborhood is its walkability, centrality to uptown, it's friendly, eclectic, and it's aesthetically beautiful vibe within a historic area of Charlotte. Our home itself is grand yet cozy. Unpretentious yet stylish. Family friendly, yet worthy of retreating. Situated on an oversized corner lot in the neighborhood, there is place to relax and roam. The first full designated bike lane in Charlotte is located on the street in front of the home.
The home itself is stylish and casual. It holds artwork and relics collected from years of traveling around the globe. There is attention to detail and yet an emphasis on making it family friendly. Starting with a large oversized front porch and port chere to park under, leading into multiple living spaces and a grand dining room, and offset kitchen with a smaller back porch to enter into the secluded, gated back yard.
The kitchen is filled with high end appliances, cookware, and dining ware. Cooking necessities such as sugar, flour, spices, oil, vinegar are all available to use.
There is a modern sofa bed in the sunroom with linens provided that converts to a full bed for additional sleeping options.
The three oversized bedrooms are all upstairs with high ceilings and large windows throughout.
The master bedroom and bath has a large walk in closet that also has plenty of room for a pack and play or air mattress for additional sleeping options.
Plaza Midwood is known for it's historic tree-lined streets and it's unpretentious, eclectic vibe with supreme walkability. The neighborhood itself is situated a mile from Uptown and has curated shops and restaurants throughout. The house itself is situated only two blocks from the grocery store, shops, and the bus line. It is also situated on the first full designated bike lane in the city. The light rail is only 1.25 miles from the neighborhood. Parking is available in the driveway or along the side street of the corner lot.
Public bus routes service the Plaza Midwood neighborhood on the Nos. 3, 4, 9 and 23 routes. The closest current light rail service is the Parkwood Avenue location, approximately 1.25 miles down Parkwood Avenue, past North Davidson.
