**SPRUCE NEST – QUIET LOCATION, WALK TO DOWNTOWN**

Welcome to Spruce Nest, a charming vacation retreat remodeled in 2019. Designed for comfort and privacy, it’s perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together.

The home features:
• Two king suites (one on each floor)
• Queen sofa bed
• 2½ bathrooms
• Large entryway
• Open living and dining areas
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Beer on tap

Located on a quiet dead-end street, you’ll enjoy a peaceful setting while staying close to everything.

A scenic trail near the end of the street follows Butcher Knife Creek and leads to a dog park about a block away.

Downtown is about a 10-minute walk with local shops, restaurants, and access to the Yampa River’s paved walking and biking trail. Strawberry Park Hot Springs and Buffalo Pass are just a 15–20 minute drive.

Quiet, convenient, and close to it all.

Wonderful location & amazing host! Tom went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable - even helping us out with a flat tire. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. Tom was one of the best hosts I have ever worked with. He has all the little touches and even 2 beers on tap! He has fans for the hot days and blankets for dogs. There is even a half bath and huge dining table. I just have to say WOW! We cannot wait to come back. We also walked to DT easily in 8 minutes!

We loved staying here. The house was cleaned, organized and the host had everything we needed.The host was available any time if we needed anything. Tom, the host, was exceptional. He greeted us with a keg and made sure we had everything we needed. He even helped my husband shovel and get the fire pit going. Tom truly went above and beyond. We’ve stayed in many places, and this is by far the best experience we've had.The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and spices, which was a pleasant surprise. I also enjoyed being introduced to some local coffee, courtesy of Tom. My family, which includes my husband and two teenagers, had plenty of space. We appreciated having TVs in both bedrooms and the living room.The beds were extremely comfortable, and the heated floors in the master bathroom were a nice touch. The house was conveniently located near a park that we visited frequently with our Australian shepherd. Additionally, the town was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We could have taken the shuttle to the slopes, but we chose to drive directly to the mountain, which was not far from the house.We appreciated the binder filled with tips and suggestions for local activities and dining options. We plan to return and won’t hesitate to book with Tom again.

Beautiful home, great location.

We loved our stay at the Spruce Nest! Honestly, there are a million places to stay in Steamboat, but I dont think any of them score 5's like this one. You can walk to the bus for skiing, walk to downtown for dinner, relax in a quiet neighborhood, and Tom, the property manager was super communicative. Small side note, the beds are the most comfortable you'll ever stay in. I am literally going to buy the same sheets for my room!

Fabulous in every way

We stayed in Steamboat for 2 weeks with family to celebrate our 50th anniversary. This location is perfect for downtown events, restaurants & shopping. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and Tom is a great host. Hope to come back!

Cozy and close to everything!

We came to Steamboat for family fun and relaxation and Tom’s property was a great home base for both. The home is on a quiet street, with a driveway that allows 2 SUV’s to park. One bedroom has an en-suite bath with shower and the upstairs bathroom is private with an adjacent full bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed and we enjoyed cooking in.Thanks Tom, we had a great stay!

I moved to Steamboat Springs in 1979 because of the beauty of the surrounding area, outdoor activities and good economic potential. So far, I have not been dissatisfied. My wife and I love riding ATVs in the summer, hiking and rafting down the Yampa. We would like to share The Spruce Nest with you special places to see, feel and experience. Like the Hot Springs.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

My wife and I purchased this property about 25 years as a long term rental. In 2018 we decided to remodel it, yet keep the historic character. We left the two-story building intact, added and entry, master bed room and bath, powder room/laundry and dining area. We also remodeled the kitchen and added a beer tap. There is all new furniture and carpet. The exterior was also re-landscaped. It's got a great location - 10 minute walk from downtown and on a dead-end street near the edge of town. What more could be better? Come and see for yourself!

In the spring/summer 2022, we will be remodeling the back portion of the duplex for a vacation rental. It will have two master bedrooms/baths on the ground floor, with the living room, kitchen and powder bath on the second floor. A partially covered deck will complement the living space on the second floor. A carport with a covered walkway will provide protection from rain/snow from the parking area to the unit for all seasons. It should be available late summer 2022.
