Cozy Cottage Retreat on Lake Texoma!

Welcome to Byrd Lane Cottage! We are nestled in a quiet lakeside community just walking distance of gorgeous Lake Texoma.

Byrd Lane offers ample space for you and/or your family to enjoy a relaxing retreat with a wonderful array of options to explore the area within close proximity. We are located near Eisenhower State Park, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, the quaint and charming community of Denison, multiple public marinas and just south, with in kayaking distance, of some of the best islands Lake Texoma has to offer.

The cottage includes just about anything you might need to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Including ample parking (within our two driveways), multiple kayaks (and transport trailer), life vests (for all ages), a relaxing outdoor hammock aside a spacious, furnished, back deck that overlooks a large backyard with a fire pit ring and relaxing adirondack chairs. While the kitchen doesn't include a butler it does come with everything you need to make a large family meal such as an assortment of cooking spices (and oil), full size cooking pots and pans, cutting boards, coffee/tea, eating and cooking utensils, full size stove and refrigerator amongst many other amenities. Additionally, we offer dual grilling options that include a traditional gas grill and a gas griddle flattop.

The cottage includes three bedrooms, two full baths and a bonus cozy loft! Our living room is fully equipped with a 55" TV with Roku including Netflix (and app sign-in availability). Not to mention, our board game section boasts more than 35 assorted, classic and new games that cater to all ages and include puzzles (with a puzzle mat), and a wooden fold out poker table topper.

The only thing we are missing is you, your family and/or friends enjoying themselves and all that Lake Texoma and the surrounding area has to offer!

Wonderful Host

The home is fully stocked with amenities. It was well organically and clean. I would say bring just food and your loved ones. We had Amazing host. They went above and beyond for our stay. My Family had a great time relaxing and playing with all the board games. The only amenity that is listed on Vrbo would be the spa, which is not accurate, there isn’t a spa. Other than that the lake is walking distance. Fire place in the home, fire pit outside, and everything works great. :) in my book a 5 star staycation!

Clean and cute home

Our stay was very great overall and the house was clean and quiet. One main issue, do not stay at the house if you bring a boat or find another somewhere to keep the boat. The road to the house is a one way and you will not be able to back the boat into the drive way safely.

Fabulous Easter weekend getaway

We really had a wonderful time at this property. The Hostess was very accommodating to make sure we had essentials on hand as well as some treats for our family. Made lots of memories grilling, making s'mores, and trekking out to the lake. Pro tip -bring comfortable shoes for the walk to the lake -there is a bit of elevation along that walk and it's gravel. We would totally book again because we had such a wonderful time at this cozy cottage.

Great time. We were there for a family reunion. The deck and backyard were wonderful. The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. They had everything we needed. They were available if needed. Great place!

Very nice home and nicely decorated! Lots to do nearby and the kayak use was a great addition! Very clean and all the amenities provided. Great communication with the hosts! Nice patio and yard to hang out and bbq and cook s’mores over the nice fire pit. Awesome food basket too đŸ„ł. Thank you!

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The hosts have thought of EVERYTHING you might need during your stay and provided it for you. We took the kayaks out and paddled over to a beachy area where we swam and hung out for hours. It was so relaxing and fun! We also stayed up late both nights playing games. They have tons to choose from. Wish we would have had more time there!!

Lovely house by the lake

We stayed here for 5 days and loved everything about it! The host thought of everything for our stay and the personal touch was heartwarming. We took the kayaks out to the lake for a couple days and we played the games that they had there. Overall it was a fabulous trip and we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway house

This rental was better than the pictures show (which is an impressive feat). Everything was clean and updated. Perfect amount of space for four adults and two kids. The outdoor area was fabulous. Plus it's a few minute walk from the lake. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the week.

The yellow Byrd lane cottage amazing and beautiful

We had a great time at this little beautiful cottage .. so peaceful and clean... plenty of beds and well equipped.. close distance to the lake .. the canoes are 100% a must do.. plenty of games .. no need for tv .. the loft is a nice little place to meditate and relax .. the fire place and exterior lights are so amazing.. rear deck nice to enjoy a meal and drinks .. love the check in and check out times...what about the spices .. we enjoyed them ... have a great time cooking and making meals..... overall “WE ARE COMING BACK SOON”.

Wonderful Cottage

This is a wonderful place to stay near Lake Texoma. Layout is great both inside and out. You will love the fire pit and the hammock :-). Having kayaks available (both singles and tandems) for use makes it perfect for paddlers. Enjoy!

Nice, clean, peaceful getaway

Really enjoyed getting out of the city and into this nice, little gem of a place. Super clean, great stocked pantry and plenty of room. The backyard is peaceful with both the deck and fire pit. Kayaks were a great addition, although the road to the closest dock is pretty much washed out, so we drove to nearby High Point for entry.
