The home itself was beautiful but we ran into many issues the entire stay with little communication with the management company. When we first arrived we found the top floor and half of the main floor’s electricity was out. The rest of the house had power. We had to wait over 16 hours for someone to come access the fuse box. Granted it was the weekend so the management company was not working regular 9-5 hours, however, for the amount we paid nightly, it doesn’t seem fair that we had to go one entire evening, night, and morning without lights or power throughout 1/3 of the house without any apology or effort for reconciliation. Next, numerous things were broken. The fire pit was broken, the hot tub never heated up to the temperature we were told it would, the ping pong net was broken, one of the shutters indoors on the stair rail headed up to the top floor fell off its hinges while my husband was carrying our son upstairs, and when I went to run a load of laundry the washer had an error message and wouldn’t work. After waiting several hours for a reply from management I went ahead and googled the error message and fixed the issue with the hose myself. Overall we feel we did not get our value for the money that we spent. Please note that this is the first poor review I’ve ever left but I feel that it’s necessary to warn future guests before committing to such an expensive rental. We love Anna Maria Island and we will definitely be back to the area, just not this home.
