We had cockroach issues, the door handle kept breaking off on the front door and locking after 5 seconds, no coffee pods for keurig, and lack of kitchen towels supplies.Sheets were amazing and beds were comfortable.

Totally okay. The most basic of basic in every way. The kitchen cabinets didn’t even have pull, no detergent to wash clothes, beds worn out, toilet paper was the like a tracing paper it was so thin (I did find some back up that was a little better) for the price feels like some small updates would make a big difference. The location was nice and quiet and close to downtown which was great. It was clean.

Good place with great pricing

Daughter had a softball tournament in Newberry (about 30 minutes away) and we decided to get a VRBO instead of a hotel. Price was comparable to a hotel stay (just a few $$ more) and it was nice to have separate bedrooms for the us and the kids. Thanks!

Pleasant stay

Overall a nice property. Close to downtown but in a bit of a run-down area. Amenities good - TV was amazing - but with a couple of niggles - half of the microwave buttons didn't work and plastic plates and bowls were a disappointment.

Perfect UF weekend

This property was in a perfect location, allowed us to bring our pet, and was overall perfect for what we were looking for. Sadly, the Gators loss to freaking Arkansas, but thay wont stop us from staying here again next time we come up. The neighborhood is charming and quiet as well. 5 stars!!

Wow, your words are like a dark cloud looming over our sunny property. It's utterly baffling how you managed to book a place perfectly suited for your needs, with pristine beds and stellar reviews, only to rain down negativity upon us. And let's talk about those "rooms and spaces" Vrbo categorizes – it's clear you're just looking for reasons to complain. Frankly, it's pathetic how you take pleasure in dragging down places that others have worked hard to maintain. Maybe take a good hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why you feel the need to spread your toxicity everywhere you go. You should feel deeply ashamed of your actions.

Nice pet-friendly Bungalow

Overall the property was good. The fact that it’s pet-friendly was fantastic! It’s a duplex that shares one fenced entrance/exit. This property (apt A) has the yard in the front. The kitchen window benefits from a blind like the rest of the home for privacy. The management company was very cordial, professional and quick to respond to our messages and even accommodated us a day early arrival at a discounted rate. We highly recommend this property.

A one night stay

The property was ok it had pots, pans, silverware and dishes that were nice. It also had a microwave, washer and dryer. The dining table and chairs were nice except they were for taller people than myself (I'm 5'8") and after being seated for while they began to hurt the back of my legs. Also the couches were just the opposite they were low and hard to get out of for an older person like myself, even my 15 year old said that they were hard to get up from. The other troublesome thing was the bed in the back bedroom was squeaky so we didn't use that bed, However we only used two beds since there was only two of us.

Beware!

With pictures to prove this place not only smelled of cigarettes smoke but was also filthy and partially cleaned. They definitely had smokers in before our stay which I know is not their fault but it completed changed the way my family had to stay due to asthma… The floor, underneaths the couches have never been cleaned…. My mother In Law dropped her glasses behind the couch and when she moved the couch tp retrieve her glasses she was horrified ( pics available ) Never again will I stay in this place nor do I suggest it

Quick Thanksgiving Getaway

Perfect quaint location! Easy check in. Close to downtown. Exactly what we needed for this trip. We were close to family but had our own space once the family gathering was over. We will definitely book again

Accommodations and location exceeded expectations.

Rooms were very clean and amenities ample. Home was near downtown and historic neighborhood s. I found no shortcomings.

Quaint home close to everything

Very nice home with plenty of beds. Good place to stay for a night or two. Neighborhood was quiet, no dog barking like previous posters had mentioned. There are parts of this neighborhood that are cuspy (good then not so good) typical of downtown gentrifying areas. but we still felt safe. Would recommend!

Clean, comfortable and close to the fun stuff

Live in Tampa area and find Gainesville a great getaway. 2nd time in this sweet home. Awesome trails for us daily nearby, Dragonfly and Harry's for suppers 5 minutes away. Yenni, we're looking forward to the next visit.

Lovely home with good location

Super clean and very comfortable beds. Very close to downtown restaurants, Depot park and hiking trails which is why we stayed in SE area. I agree with others that the neighbors dog was disruptive to our sleep. There is a sweet community garden right up the street where we met a lovely neighbor woman. We'll be back.

After you let us know about the dog, we contacted our neighbors and they took care of the dog barking and there has not been any other complains about it.

Quiet location but VERY noisy dog

The place is cute and a short walk to downtown, which is great, but the dog next door does NOT stop barking. All day and most of the night we heard barking; for us, it was quite annoying. Otherwise, a good place to stay for a short trip.
